Bellissimo Grande Hotel - นอร์ทสโตนิงตัน

We had a terrific experience with the Bellissimo and the staff. They were uniformly attending and competent. The shuttle was clean and prompt. The spa was not all we had hoped, though. They ran behind and many of the girls were unsatisfied with their services (though I LOVED my massage).

My boyfriend and I picked this hotel while looking thru Hotels.Com offerings, as it was a short distance to Foxwoods MGM where we were going to see a concert.Upon arrival we were told that there was a courtesy (free!) limo that left every half hour over to Foxwoods. This is such a plus, so you don't have to worry about moving the car and then parking. […] Plus you can have a cocktail or two. The hotel itself is upscale and beautiful. We had a room with a jacuzzi in the bedroom area, which was so very romantic and perfect. The bathroom was very large and clean, and the bed was very comfortable and clean as well. (take this from someone who checks the bedding and mattress for bedbugs! I'm a little neurotic) We slept in past breakfast time, so I can not offer any comments on the food. We were glad we got away from the casino scene and stayed here.It was all of 5 minutes from foxwoods. It was perfect.The room was clean,and spacious. The staff were courteous and helpful. The lobby was nicely appointed with a starbucks tucked away in the corner. Will definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay very much and would return again. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Only disappointment groups of young girls staying in hotel and were actually running through the halls laughing and yelling in the wee hours. Once at 1 am and again at 2 am.

Fantastic hotel...I skeeve hotels..but the Ballissimo has changed my opinion...I thought there were no such thing as a really clean hotel..and if there is anything wrong with one ..it finds me....this time the pleasure was mine....especially nice cause our stay was part of a gift to my husband..

THE HOTEL WAS ONLY A 5 MINUTE DRIVE TO FOXWOODS, IF YOU DIDN'T WANT TO USE THE FREE SHUTTLE. THE STAFF WAS VERY NICE AND ACCOMMADATING-THEY TOLD ME ABOUT EVERY SERVICE OFFERED. I WAS OFFERED A CHOICE OF MATTRESS-NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE-LOVED IT!! THEY ALSO OFFERED A COMPLIMENTARY CHEESE AND BEVERAGE FOR YOUR FIRST NIGHT. THE SPA AND FITNESS ROOM AND POOL […] LOOKED CLEAN. i HAD A GREAT STAY AND PLAN ON STAYING HERE IN MAY. I ALSO GOT A COUPON FOR A DISCOUNT ON A FUTURE STAY. Hotel was way better than excepted , I got way more than I paid for. It's about a 5 min or less drive from Foxwoods; staff was friendly hotel entrance was beautiful; the rooms were comfy Although no great view through the windows the room needed more outlets . But the MEMORY FOAM beds made uP for everything !

This is a great hotel near the Foxwoods (5 minute drive or you can take hotel shuttle). Clean rooms, comfortable beds, inexpensive and staff is very nice

A very nice place to stay. We were happy with it.

not bad for the price. memory foam mattress is a plus! The shuttle Limo left twice 3 minutes and 5 minutes before the half hour mark, so had to catch a cab. Also, noticed 2 cockroaches around... smashed them and went to sleep.

This was our first time at this hotel. The hotel was very clean, the staff pleasant and the free limo service to Foxwoods great. Our room had one of the most comfortable beds we've ever "slept" on. The problem was the noise. The heat and air are not adjustable in the room so there were no options to drown out the noise either. It was so noisy that we […] got about 2 hrs. of sleep. We were down at the end of the hall ,appartently by the ice machine, and somebody near us talked, yelled and played their tv well beyond 2:00am. If we could have figured out who was making all the noise we would have called the desk. Do you call and complain and wake everyone else up in your area, looking for the culprits, or do you live with it? If it's a place to sleep that you want, this is it, nothing more. The staff was cordial enough, but the rooms seemed a bit dated and not the cleanest I've experienced. If you're looking for more creature comforts and don't mind spending the extra money, stay at the casino.

I really enjoyed staying here. The cost was a fraction of the price of staying at Foxwoods and they exceeded my expectations in all ways!

Loved every minute of our stay at the Bellisimo. Every staff member that we encountered was so friendly and eager to accommodate in every possible way. Limo service to the casino is top notch but the hotel lounge staff, including the chef and bartender made us feel so welcome. We hung out there for quite a while each night before hitting the casino. […] Honestly, I could have passed on the casino and just stayed at the hotel. Even the other guests in the hotel were great! From the outside & inside everything seemed nice. The room seemed nice as well. However, at 3am I heard this loud motor running and the floor was vibrating. I called the front desk who told me it was probably someone in the next room using the jacuzzi, but she would still send up security to make sure that was the noise & not something else. I waited […] until 4am, security never came. The noise had stopped & i did hear the water drain from the next room so I figured the girl at the front desk was right to say it was the jacuzzi. My problem is, first, if the jacuzzi is that loud, they need better sound deadening material. Also, I know it wasn't an emergency, but security never came, good thing it wasn't anything serious. after this all night I could hear people walking on the floor above me. Stayed in Presidential Suite. Very beautiful room. Hotel is very clean and the staff was extremly helpful. Would recommend highly.

Great Experience! For a fraction of what you would pay to stay at a hotel at Foxwoods you can stay at the Bellissimo right down the street. The hotel is clean, in good shape and provides a free shuttle to and from the casino. The only complaint I have is that since they are an energy efficient hotel, the light is noisy when you turn it on. The hotel room was not very warm when we got there, we had to turn the thermostat up quite high to get any heat. The hallway was quite cold also. This was the second time I have stayed at this hotel. Both experiences were positive, although, this time, I had to go off-property in order to have a comfortable meal. The web-site for this hotel makes it sound like there is a Bistro that is open from 5 to 10, Sunday through Wednesday and until 1 AM on Thursday through Saturday. Instead, on a Wednesday, […] they had tables set up on the lobby and the front desk staff were serving as wait-staff and bartender if you care to dine under these circumstances. Of course, they offered full room service from a menu which also included bar items. If that is the case, why can't the room service staff open the restaurant during the week? Or, does the front desk do room service as well??!! I also noticed a Starbucks kiosk which the front desk staff worked as well. This is very inconvenient because, if they are at all busy, who would want to interrupt them for dinner service or a Starbucks coffee? I feel that this is a beautiful hotel that is not measuring up to it's potential! From the moment we walked in the lobby we were amazed. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The hotel was very clean and maintained vwell. Our room was more than expected. We will definately stay here again

My husband and I stayed at the hotel so w e could go to a show at Foxwoods. The hotel was just a short drive to the casino. The hotel does offer free limo service, but we chose to drive. I was told that the limo is dropping and picking up guests throughout the evening. The staff were very nice, and the room was quite clean and comfortable. We stayed at one of the Presidential Suites, which are decent sized rooms with a nice 2 person jacuzzi. The hotel is only a few miles from Foxwoods and a much better value on most nights. Don't expect the 4 Seasons, but it's a really nice hotel with good service.

Just dissapointed with the people across the hall from us. We got woken up at 2 AM with yelling laughing that lasted a couple hours not fun

The front desk staff were very accommodating and welcoming. They were aware that my visit to the hotel was solely due to the major power outage in my home town of Avon and as a result, went out of their way to help me feel welcome. Throngs of Nutmeggers descended upon these poor people when our electricity went out for several days due to the freak Fall snowstorm of 2011. They went from very low occupancy to being full in a matter of hours, and the staff handled it like troopers. The check in area, dining area, pool & exercise room are pretty small, but most of the people are […] usually there only to go to the nearby casinos anyway.
