What a horrible experience this place was for me. I was looking for an extended stay type of hotel - this turned out to be "hotel rooms" in an apartment complex that obviously has occupancy issues. The room was rather dirty, very small, the refrigerator was one of those 2x2 with no room and not cold. Basically the place looks like the lowest end motels […] you might stay at. I ended my stay after one night and transferred to an extended stay hotel on easter drive that was actually cheaper and a "real" hotel with very nice amenities and a full kitchen. This was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at. They had boards under the bed to hold up mattress. Was there 3 days and never got housekeeping to come to the room. The television was at least 10 years old and had a fuzzy picture. Had to get up several times a night to adjust the temperature which was poorly controlled. The hotel is located near the highway and shopping. It is a little different then most hotels and suites - more like an apartment complex and situated between two retirement complexes, which means quiet neighborhood (a plus). The room was clean and the staff is very nice. They could use a little upgrade with carpets and bedding but we were very pleased […] overall. Kind of hard to find, for the price you get basic amenities. The lobby is not open 24 hours. However the rooms are nice.

Very good value. Great service. Real breakfast!

The Commons was a nice quiet place to relax for a couple nights. Our room had a microwave and small refrigerator. Cable TV- No Pay to view movie choices. Very nice front desk personnel.

One of the reasons I chose this location was for the free breakfast. Unfortunately I found out when I checked in that they didn't serve breakfast on Sunday. Otherwise it was a nice, clean place with a homey feel.

Promised a handicap room 4 months before my stay when I got there it wasn't avalable. The manager wouldn't even come out of his office to talk to me. The room didn't have working smoke detectors. Promise money back if I stayed which I never got, they don't have people working even at posted hours. Don't go there!

All in all, a fairly nice place to stay, but if you have a room with a regular doorknob (not a keypad), it is a pain in the tookus to open, especially when chilly. It sometimes required 2 hands to do so, as well as multiple attempts. The shower head was not at all satisfying--not enough pressure. And don't be fooled by the words "gym"...it is a bike, […] a treadmill that didn't always work, a few weight plates, and a multi weight station, all of which were squeezed into this tiny room. Take the gym pass that they offer with a local gym. All of that being said, it is still a nice place to stay, convenient, fairly clean, and very pet friendly! Have stayed here before. Nothing fancy, Near many stores and resteraunts. Price was right and if you just want a decent room to throw your stuff down and good nights sleep, this is for you. Its 1/2 apt complex, 1/2 hotel rental. When we booked the room the average rating was a 4.1 out of 5. Hard to believe! Front desk clerk was pleasant, but when we got to room we found that the dead bolt on door would not work, broken and missing bathroom tiles, broken toilet seat, no sink stopper in bathroom sink, and a tub that did not appear clean. Bed was comfy.

Nice location if you are planning to be in the Tech Center area. It was a short easy drive to dining and shopping after spending a day in training. The room was clean and breakfast was good. The pillows were a little too firm for me.

The suite we had was very nice. It was just what we wanted.

Hotel is dingy looks like a converted apartment complex. We had no hot water and toilet didn't work. Sign on our door advising water would be shut off at 10am next morning. We had to be completely showered and packed up before 10am which put us behind. We got to breakfast at 8:50 which is served from 6:30 - 9:00. I was pouring a glass of OJ about to […] grab a bagel and the hotel employee in charge of breakfast grabbed the entire case and carried it off. They cleared the entire breakfast counter with guests trying to serve themselves at exactly 9am. My room was on the third floor without access to an elevator. my room had stains on the carpet. the bed was comfortable and nice. office chair in the office was not working properly.

Very convenient location, close to I-25 without the freeway noise; close to the Tech Center. Geared toward long-term stays. Very helpful staff.

The standard room was ok. The old tv didn't work too good and the room was old,but well-kept. I would stay there again, The bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet. I loved the neighborhood!! Beautilful area and close to good eating places. Next time I will stay in the suite. The suites were very roomy and new tvs. Very comfortable and wonderful […] prices. The room was very comfortable and clean. Only draw back for some would be no elevator. Our room was located near the stairs which was not so bad. Nice location. Dana was pleasant and very friendly. She is definitely an asset to the Commons! We will return for future stays!

It took me a bit of time to find this hotel - from the street it looks like an apartment complex. Check-in was very simple and friendly. I got there just in time. If you're going to be checking in after 8:00 p.m., you'll have to get your key out of a box in the foyer. I ended up cracking the window a bit to cool it off to my liking. There was a small closet with an iron and board, which was located in a little cubby behind the bed. Seemed an odd location, but no complaints. The bathroom was clean, well lit and ventilated. The only thing I noticed missing were rags. I didn't notice until the morning, but that definitely wasn't a deal breaker for me. The pillows were a little insufficient for me. I ended up using all 3 to get a good night's rest - which would be bad if I was staying with someone else. The breakfast was well-stocked, eggs, hashbrowns, waffles, cereal, yogurt, bagels, and muffins. There's probably more that I'm forgetting, but I was very surprised by the variety. Poor, overall; Checking In, the woman was not friendly. No elevators to 2nd and thrid foors. It is not worth the money to stay there again. Simly not worth the value for the money.

I'd never noticed this hotel (even as a long-time resident of Denver) mostly due to the fact that it appears to be yet another condo or apartment complex. For those of you not familiar with the winding roads in the tech center, the sign says "Boston Commons", making it easy to pass by -- especially if you're looking for the usual hotel building. Check-in […] was fast, with a friendly clerk who gave us a map of the complex that included a menu of all the facility's amenities. (Alas, we slept thru the complimentary breakfast, so I can't comment at all on that.) We did not use any of those amenities except for the free WiFi. The room itself was a very standard hotel room, with the usual overly firm mattress and generic furniture typical of every moderately priced chain hotel in America. Of note were the three standard sized, very flat, uncomfortable and plastic-y feeling pillows on the king sized bed. I would strongly advise the hotel to invest in some new pillows! The bathroom was more spacious than most chain bathrooms but the shower nozzle appeared to be the older water-saver type that was somewhat stingy with its spray pattern. Everything appeared to be clean and in good repair. I'm happy with the price for our stay. It was an internet deal roughly half the regular room price. While this location is convenient to the Tech Center, I would not stay here again. If you like living in an apartment/condo complex atmosphere, then this is your kind of place. Pillows were awful. They are encased in plastic. Although they were clear that there is NO room change services (e.g., clean towels) on the weekend, they did not change my bed or towels on Monday. The breakfast was ok, but couldn't they spend a minute to clean the tables? The front desk woman is very nice.

I was greeted cordially, with good instructions for finding my room -- a homey nook in a building closely resembling the condo complexes surrounding the property. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and comfortably appointed. Homey rather than luxurious, which suited me fine. My business wasn't particularly in the Tech Center, but I was still glad […] of the comfortable place to land. Someone with business in the area would be even happier! The Commons has the look and feel of a townhouse/apartment complex more than a hotel, which was fine with me. Rooms were not luxurious, but comfortable, and included all the standard stuff. We stayed in a remodeled room-after having stayed here for several years, the new room was a nice surprise! There was no housekeeping service-don't know if it was an oversight or if they just don't offer it. The breakfast was pretty poor too-but the price is very nice and so was the remodeled room. There was no info that there was no elevator - we were on the third floor- senior citizens- said there was a "garden view" - saw no garden or view...room was nice, but no reading material....ie...local attractions, etc...no working light in lamp...no decafe, etc...Life should be good at this price....big surprise! The hotel was overall nice. My only complaint was that we requested 2 queen beds or a king and we were given a queen and an uncomfortable pull out sofa. It was quite inconvenient. However, it was nice to have a living room and a kitchen. If you don't mind having one queen bed, I would recommend the hotel. The breakfast was pretty good also.

We weren't very familiar with Denver and picked this hotel based on other people's ratings. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We did run into some problems in that our 2bedroom reservation underwent some flooding problems from the air conditioning system the morning before our arrival. All the 2bdrms were full for that night but we were courteously […] offered a 1brm for that night and then could be switched to a 2 brm for the subsequent night (with compensation for the smaller room). It turns out this worked out fine and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very apologetic and did everything they could for us. I certainly would return. We needed a place to stay just for one (1) night. We wanted a place close to the airport and this was just what we wanted. The rooms were big and clean, very quite and the breakfast was super. Thank you.
