North Bay Inn - ซานราฟาเอล

Cannot believe it got 3 1/2 stars previously. Very outdated. Office not responsive to complaints or requests. I TINY bar of soap, found empty beer bottle beside chair, raveled carpeting. The continental breakfast included INSTANT coffee, Nature Valley granola bars, packaged muffins....with fresh fruit.

Hotel somewhat difficult to find. Continental breakfast was quite limited, nothing hot. No toast. Room was satisfactory and priced right.

Arrived at the hotel at 4:30, no vacancy sign hanging on window, but I had reservation... Thankfully, I'd printed my booking receipt from hotels.com because they didn't have my reservation... After looking through the same stack of papers 3 times and a phone call, I got my room. Very small hotel, parking is super cramped/tight. All spots are labeled […] "compact". Room was clean, but noticed a few things. No TV channel guide, nor how to work the remote for the TV/satellite. Decided to use the free wi-fi, only to discover that I needed a password, which he hadn't supplied when I checked in, so I went over and got it. Went to use the bathroom, and the toilet paper roll had 4 squares left on it. Thankfully, there was a full roll, but made me wonder why cleaning staff would leave that small amount on roll. In prep for my event, went to take a shower, and there was a damp shower towel hanging on the hook on the back of the door. I believe it was from previous guests. Came back from my event at about 1:15 a.m. and there was no place to park anywhere. I ended up parking a street over (area is all industrial buildings), and prayed my car would not be towed. It wasn't, but I was concerned. Went to check out, and no one in office. Rang bell, made noise, and waited 3 mins. On the positive side, the refrigerator was already turned on so my drinks got cool quite quickly, bed was comfy to sleep in, and the hairdryer worked well. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

I arrived around 6:00pm and the office was locked and no one there! I called the hotel several times but all I got was voicemail. I went to dinner and returned around 8:00pm and the same thing. I was tired and irritated. I waited approximately 30 minutes and finally someone arrived. She apologized.

Room was so dirty and smelled so bad I moved to different hotel next day!

The place was nicer than expected. Room was very clean. There's lots of channels to watch. It was good for a one night stay.

Very happy with the condition of this hotel. A good value for the price.

Due to rains the rooms reserved were flooded. We were transfered to a less desirable room at the Travelodge next door. So I have little to offer except call ahead to make sure your reservation is secure.

What a find. Renovated spacious rooms! Comfy bed. Good size fridge and microwave. VVery nice and accomadating owners. Great place for the price!

This inn looks like a neat, clean motel from the outside. It has obviously been redone recently and is very nice inside- crown mouldings, granite bathroom, etc. Nice place for a good price- we will stay there again.

This is a spotless hotel, cost is reasonable and the location is relatively close to the downtown area. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!! D.J. Boehme Sr

Great hotel! The beds were great- nice fluffy pillows just like home. Very nice place and very affordable.

Hotel was reasonable and very convenient to ferry access to San Francisco and freeways, not necessarily a good location for walking in the neighborhood alone at night. Room was clean enough, but some wear noticed on beds. If fancy is not important, but cleanliness and price is, this is a good place to stay. It ain't the Ritz, but my room was super clean and included a couch, a desk, a microwave, and a fridge, the latter two of which allowed me to keep my food budget cheap. Better, the place is within a mile or so of a good shopping center with a Trader Joe's, a Whole Foods, a regular grocery store, and a tiny but well-stocked Asian market. I was surprised at how luxurious this small motel was. Nice new tv, lots of cable stations, a refriderator and microwave. A small desk, the bed was large and comfy matress, bedding didn't feel worn, newish. It is right next to the freeway! BUT once inside the noise didn't bother me. I went in the door, and saw that the bedspreads were soiled. I went back to the office and they gave me another room-same issue with soiled bedspreads. I went back to the office, they did not have another room, and I cancelled my stay.

This is a clean, comfortable Inn that has everything you need at a great rate. The room looked to be just remodeled with new everything! Has granite countertops, small couch, desk, frig, microwave, coffee, and the bed is really comfortable with nice bedding. Towels are thick, white and fluffy. Staff is really friendly and the breakfast in the lobby, […] although small, is all you need to be on the go! Located with easy on/off access to Hwy 101. Have stayed here twice now. Both stays exceeded my expectations. Mansger is a sweetheart, talk about making a guest feel welcome! I stay in hotels over 250 nights a year and know what I'm talking about!

It's hard to tell by a website, if a hotel will really meet your expectations. This place did. IThe beds are very comfortable. The rooms are clean and recently remodled. Downside; the walls are thin. Bring ear-plugs if you are a light sleeper.

The hotel rooms have been newly upgraded and are lovely. My only complaint was the VERY noisy combination fan & light in the bathroom which would wake up anyone. The area is a bit industrial but close to a great bar/restaurant Pier 15 where we had a wonderful brunch on a waterside deck. Desk help could have been friendlier, but I do admit that I arrived late at night. The hotel served its purpose in that it was convenient to the freeway. Rooms were acceptable, but cost based on my experience should have been $20 to $30 LESS for what you got !!!

We had a little mix up with one of our nights being a single room, so they shifted us around, which was a pain. Otherwise the hotel was fine. Refrigerator and tv nice, good beds and pillow. Small but very OK.

This hotel is one of the best finds ever. Recently redecorated and very well maintained. Very polite and helpful folks at the desk (I think they are the owners...at least they act as though they were. Very convenient to the Richmond Bay Bridge and all of Marin county. This place deserves FAR more than a 2-star rating. You won't be disappointed.

This is a nice, clean hotel located close to downtown San Rafeal and is a good place to stay if your just looking for a basic, clean place to sleep for the night. They have a funky coffee machine in the lobby that actually makes a pretty good cup of fresh coffee. I would stay here again.

Stains on pillows, sheets & carpets.. Said it was a king sized bed and it wasn't even a queen, not that I slept much thinking of what bugs were probably crawling on me and my bags... Or thinking my car was going to be stolen...

Stayed four nites Sept 2nd to 6th. Well kept room . Fridge , microwave, ironing board. Nice bathroom, comfy beds. In a bad area right off freeway. Didn't feel safe outside the parking lot . Great value for money.

Sheets stained, Comforter had burn holes in it. Room smelled like ciggerette smoke and urine. pillows stunk. Was non smoking room. Reservation for king bed --upon arrival no king beds on site. Floor could have been cleaner. Continental breakfast-warm yogurt, muffins in cellophane. Coffee in room only decaf. level of great standard lowered greatly. After reading the reviews, I chose this hotel and it was about as others reported. Industrial area, freeway noise, but newly remodeled, clean and good beds. The lady at the front desk did not tell me about the shopping center not very far away with restaurants, Trader Joes and Whole Foods market when I asked about places to eat.

What a great stay at this hotel!! We arrived a little early for check in but the room was ready and we were able to check in. Office person was very friendly and helpful in getting us back to San Francisco to the Giants game. Everything about the room was excellent. Recently remodeled motel greatly exceeded my expectations regarding rooms that had recently been redone very nicely. Location somewhat industrial but excellent bargain.

This hotel had a great price and it was still close to San Fran and Marin County sights. The breakfast was nothing to brag about but it was at least something. We found a couple of nice restaurants in the vicinity.

When I drove on to the lot. I said " Hell no" I was beside my self. I told the clerk this wasn't the place I saw on the inter net. She assured me that the rooms were very nice. Room was small and tidy and affordable. Parking was a little tight in the lot for my truck but street parking was available for bigger vehicles if needed. Breakfast was minimal but adequate. Good value for the price all together.

Hotel is next to a very busy freeway and we heard freeway noise all night. We also had booked two double beds and found out they only had 1 king available when checking in. I was traveling with a business partner so we asked for sheets / blankets for the sleeper couch and it took contacting the desk three times and almost three hours to get them. Clean room and close enough to Point Reyes Not a great neighborhood to stay

There was an issue with my room, but it had been handled immediately and very well. The noise of the highway is the main problem of this hotel

Very clean room could be a little less expensive nice amenities.
