If you are looking for a place to relax in your room, this is not the place. If you are just in need of a place to crash after a long day out and a night at the casinos and clubs, this is perfect. It was also a little run down, ie worn carpet etc. The sheets had some stains on them, but they smelled cleaned. The towels were definitely Dollar store towels, but I brought my own as I expected that. While this is no casino hotel and doesnt even match up to the quality of chain motels, it worked perfect for me as I spent minimal time in the room. The outdoor environment was very loud due to traffic and talking. All I can say is you get what you pay for. For $60, I got a place to rest my head and shower (I put a towel on the shower floor). The front desk staff was VERY friendly. They allowed me to have a late check out time for free and even let me keep my car in the lot while I walked the boardwalk after I checked out. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

It was so close to the boardwalk and to tropicana. The only thing is bring your own sheets, pillows, towels, and and blankets. All of theirs have stains on them and I am very particular about that stuff. Other then that it wasn't a bad stay.

Do not recommend. Hotel room smelled awful. It was shabby. A lt of noise outside all night - sirens, people shouting, cars honnking - not a great location even though it is convenient. Most motel 6's are much nicer than this place.

Good location near by Tropicana Casino & Hotel, walking distance to the other major casinos. If you want to pretend a gambler, this is best compromize considering the cost. Typical motel type facility.

The only problems I had was we had dirty sheets that had stains on them not enough towels and no microwave in room. We also had an issue with guests next door that I felt the hotel didn't make any effort to correct it. I was honestly shocked by my experience. The staff was always available and always ready to help with any needs. We stayed two nights, and they cleaned our room. They forgot to give us another towel, when I asked for it, I instantly got it, no problems or difficulties with apologies for the inconvenience. About a 30 second walk to tropicana quarter […] entrance, not even half a block down. I felt very safe. The bed was clean, lots of channels on the tv, clean bathroom. Not the newest place, but the price you are paying and the distance to everything, it is way beyond worth it. If you want to be at a casino but not pay enormous price STAY HERE. It is outside the door to the Tropicana and 1/4 the price. Room was not bad and TV was nice. Great location just off boardwalk and next to everything you need for a great experience.

Rooms shoulda been slightly cheaper but im not the biggest penny pincher , awful smell in each room , we had to air out room with a/c but the staff at the front counter were very polite. Oh yea no rollaway beds

You get what you paid for.The lighting was too dim. They serve breakfast and ice in the lobby. Its walking distance from all casinos and the boardwalk so no need to take a cab. everybody that work there was very polite. I went there over this past Labor Day weekend 2012. The people at the front desk were very nice and helpful. They let us check in early which was really nice. As for the room, I suggest you take some lysol wipes, extra towels and an air freshner. I had read recent reviews and it scared me. After wiping down the room and checking the sheet for stains and the actual mattress for stains and bugs.. Thankfully the sheets were clean and so were the mattresses so i was able to sleep well. The towels provided on the other hand where no so great, so i am thankful i brought my own. The location is really great, 2 mins away from the beach with out all the rift raft from the piers and close to the Tropicana. Couldnt get the TV to workwhen we first checked in until we got back to the room after 9pm amd it didnt work again until after 6am. Couldnt sleep or watch TV...air conditioner made alot of noise

First of all bouble room beds are tooo small,shower curtain has mildew,paint is coming off by the window ,when use the ac the rloor gets wet..the rooms are not clean sheets is old and dinchy...service sucks!!!!

Ask for a non smoking room, room walls very filty, blanket burned by cigarets and dirty. The bed linnen was clean, the staf was friendly and the location was great. Needs fresh painting ad up grade.

All of the rooms face outside so you can hear everything going on outside and in the neighboring rooms. I was woken up several times a night by traffic and people walking by out on the street. I would not stay here again.

Was in AC for a Furthr concert, needed an inexpensive place to stay for the night . This place met my needs. If your looking for more,,,,stay at the Tropicana and spend the bucks.

Holy mother of Christ...Pure filth. Room smelled like an ash tray, looked like the place was hit with an RPG. Cheaply patched holes in the walls, bathroom door was apparently knocked off its hinges and just thrown back in place. The bed felt like I was laying on springs and flattened cotton balls...Terrible...Never again.

The El Dorado was great! It was cheap, clean, and comfortable and the owner and staff were so nice and helpful---coffee and honeybuns for breakfast--yum!! Also you cant beat the location.

The hotel was really close to all the casinos and the boardwalk but as far as a nice hotel HELL no!!! It was dirty and prostitutes were lingering around the premises, it was horrible!!! Never again :)

Went to Jersey on a humbug. FIrst on their behalf didn't know that there was an airshow going on. But asked for and paid for a non-smoking room and the room smelled of cigarettes. The manager didn't believe us and called for his manager. They tried to convince us we were crazy until we pointed out an ashtray in the room. Only thing they had was a double. […] I just hanging out so no big deal right. Absolutely Not! Lost the fridge because we moved to a double. Had to wait for the hot water to get hot (15 min) and the bathroom door looked like it had been kicked in (and wouldn't lock). Amazing for the price, incredibly close to the beach and the boardwalk. For what you pay it's totally worth it. If your standards are higher and your expectations are set high do not try to find anything better for the price they ask.

Other than were it's located & price this place has nothing else to offer! Rooms are dingy and moldy. There's no such thing as Non-smoking! No matter what room you're in you can smell the cigarette smoke. The rooms don't feel safe sence the entraces face the parking lot which faces the street! Extremely noisy as well. The room key had to be re-activated […] continously cause it wouldn't work. Make sure you bring your own set of bed sheets, bath towels and pillows. And dont walk bare footed in the rooms!!!!! I was having renovations done on my home and had to travel to South Jersey in the morning so I thought this would be a great way to get some quiet sleep before a long day. Well... There was no heat in the room, in North Jersey in 30 degree weather. There was no shower curtain. The desk clerk never offered me anything different. I called the manager […] ...the manager never answered. I left, without out a partial refund or even a discount for my troubles. Never will I stay here again and I made TWO COMPLAINTS--including to Expedia. SLEEP ON THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD OF 1 & 9 IN NEWARK BEFORE YOU STAY IN THIS MOTEL. LOL ... This place makes the Motel 6 look like the Hilton. It's dirty. Right when I walked into the lobby, it smelled bad. The shower mat is literally made of paper. We raged the hotel room there it was sweet. Its a heady place to party. We stayed there 2 night for the halloween phish shows in 2010 it was really close to the boardwalk . Like 2 blocks and u couuld smoke in the room!!!! the only schwag part of the experience was the hookers posted up down the street from the holtel.

What a dump! Puke stains on the wall, dirty sheets, crummy bathroom. The place smelled like ammonia and the toiletries were laughable. The bath towels were the size of washcloths and the "bathmat" was a sheet of paper....seriously.
