This Courtyard is quite clean, nice and quiet, and has a convenient location for my needs. Right next to hotel are a variety of restaurants, including Sushi, a nice steakhouse, an "ok" Italian place, Chilis, Mexican, and a burger joint. I was driving the PCH and wound up at this Marriott. It's a bit off the path of the PCH (about 30 minutes)... But, it's a very nice Courtyard Marriott. My only gripe was the room layout. The TV is in a position that you can't view it from the bed...

The hotel staff was very nice and attentive. The room was extremely clean, and comfortable. It is a newer hotel, so it definitely did not have the "used" hotel type feel. The cleaning people didn't move anything that I left lying around, but still managed to clean the room and make it look nice and fresh for when i returned from meetings all day. Also rooms are very soundproof, almost seemed like there wasn't any other people staying in the rooms next to me, even though there were. The neighborhood was very safe, even at 11:40PM, which was when i would end up heading back to my hotel every day. Very polite and helpful front desk team. They scanned a document and emailed it to me very promptly. They had a nice breakfast buffet as well, with belgian waffles and fresh made-to-order omelettes - Delicious!

Great hotel in excellent neighborhood with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Curteous customer service - always with a smile. We needed to visit Cal Lutheran University, and Courtyard by Marriott provided a nice hotel at a good location for a reasonable price. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the lobby area was welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

We needed a place for stop as we were traveling through LA. Could not say a bad thing bought our experience. Friendly greeting and great place to stay.

This is a great place to stay! The only negatives are: breakfast costs too much and the tv's are old box tv's. Come on Courtyard, get some flat panels! Loved it though. There's and In and Out Burger within walking distance. Thousand Oaks is a beautiful city.

This hotel is nothing to write home about. Staff was friendly, rooms were just decent. Had the "room service" which we had to go get and I think we would have gotten better food at a cheap drive-thru.

This hotel was a superior stay for us. I travel extensively and found this facility to rival much more costly hotels in convenience, service and accommodation. I recommend this facility without any reservation

Spent 2 nights here and was very pleased overall. Clean, pretty and comfortable. The coffee in the room was not so good.

Great customer service, nice hotel. Wish Courtyard would standardize their breakfast program - free at all or pay at all, same menu at all so you know what they offer.

The hotel was clean, the rooms beautiful, and the staff extremely friendly and helpful! Location is great, although there was some minor confusion when we went to check in because we showed up at the Marriott Suites which is right next door. The staff there are apparantly used to that mix up though and directed us to the next business block over. Rates and room condition was very good

I had booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children. What I got was a king bed (expected) and a twin sized sofa sleeper. When there is a "twin sofa sleeper" that should be noted in the room information. We had to get a air bed in the room which left little room to move in the room. No other room was offered and no one seemed to care.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The free wireless Internet worked well. The breakfast was pricy for what was offered, but other than that, we had a nice stay.

this hotel is perfect in every way, I will stay there again when I am in the area.

The property exceeded my expectations in every way! Staff, surroundings, location - all made for a positive visit during my business trip. If you are seeking a pleasant experience in your personal or professional travel, and need to be the greater Los Angeles area, this is a very fine choice. Not perfect (no property is), but a very fine choice.

We searched everywhere for a nice place to sleep around Malibu Beach and came across Marriott Courtyard which was the perfect location as they have TOP NOTCH SERVICE. We didn't make it for the breakfast but the staff was just so helpful, kept my belly full all day and night! Will be back to stay here every time we are in the area! The Marriott Thousand Oaks was a very pleasant hotel. Both the hotel and room were well maintained, clean, and comfortable. Although the hotel is located on the access road of a major freeway, it was very quiet and I never heard any traffic noise.
