Campanile Arras - Saint Nicolas - Saint-Nicolas

The room was clean and tidy and exactly what one would expect for the cost of the room. We were offered dinner which looked fine but we had made other arrangments. I can recomend this hotel as a good motel.

Very disappointed as the hotel was on an industrial estate with no walking access to the town centre. Even the receptionist said that it was not possible to walk to the town. Paperwork on the booking was handed over and we were left with no details of the location,address or telephone number. She handed over the room card in a folder which we wrongly […] assumed had these details. We had to rely upon a concerned Frenchman to guide us back. The breakfast was basic and most of the dishes were empty or almost empty.In deed another guest had to ask for the dishes to be replenished but even so only ham was provided. We had a most enjyable stay. The breakfast was excellent and over all the hotel provides very good value for money. Difficult to find but worth the effort.

I normally stay in a 4 star, but for a one night stay 'en route' this 2* hotel exceeds expectations. The car park could have been cleared of snow to make parking easier, but the room was warm, the bed was very comfortable and I was asleep in no time. The location means you can hear the occasional traffic noise, but for sheer convenience, great value […] and a tasty well prepared dinner in their restaurant I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a one night stay in Arras. The hotel is easy to reach from the motorway and handily placed for our visit which was primarily to see parts of the Somme WW1 memorials. It is also well placed for a visit into the lovely town of Arras. The down side of its location is that it is in an industrial estate with no walking distance access to alternative eating places. A little hard to get to from the motorway, but ideal for an overnight stop. Friendly welcome, good restaurant, hotel clean and functional, we always enjoy Campanile hotels (even though some -but not this one- are in need of refurbishment).

Niets dan lof over zowel het ontvangst als de gerifelijke kamer. Een minpuntje is dat de gratis welkomst borrel maar voor 1 persoon was ondanks we voor een twee persoons kamer geboekt hadden.
