"Easy access to many Bakersfield areas"
We have stayed at the Springfield Inn many times when we have had business in Bakersfield. We had to do presentations in the Northeast in the morning and one in the Southwest in the afternoon. The location of the Springfield Inn allowed us access to both locations with limited driving time. The staff is always friendly and helpful. stayed there for 1 night and I have no complaints, every thing was great. Service was great the room was comfy and clean. I didn't do the breakfast thing but I'm sure it was good, well at least it smelled good from the lobby. It is a good stay if you are traveling with kids, the hotel is located in a good area.

It's an oìl town so don't expect a view room. But it will be clean with a flat screen hi def TV, fridge and microwave. The matress is somewhat firm and it's in a quiet neighborhood. For the price, hotel was excellent. I wanted free breakfast, free internet and an indoor pool. They have it all. Although the internet was free, it was incredibly slow. Other than that, I would recommend this hotel in Bakersfield. This is the third time we stayed at this specific hotel.
"Workout room needs attention"
This hotel is a great deal for the price, with the exception of the workout room. It is tiny, and the elliptical and the hand weights were not functional. No one seemed to know when this would be remedied. If this makes no difference in your stay, then it's a great deal.

SpringHill Suites are really great: reasonably priced Clean, friendly and have a great continental breakfast. I have stayed at them before in PA, just north of Philly and will be staying in one in New Orleans in September. I highly recommend thhe SpringHill Suites.
"Good mid-way stop to So Cal destination..."
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The surroundings were safe, the accomidations were newer, clean, comfortable and the indoor pools a plus in winter. The all-you-can-eat breakfast was plentaful and flavorful... my young son's wife and myself all found numerous items we liked.

very nice spacious room. the bed & pillows very comfortable- the only down fall was bed spread wasn't very clean and having a down stairs room by lobby was a little loud in morning. I will stay there again.

This was a repeated stay in this hotel. Some general repairs and maintenance kept us from using all the facilities usually available. We really like the separate living area, sleeping area . "Expect a lot.... get a lot"
What can we say Spring Hill by Marriott simply said sets the bar very high for the competition. Second stay for us, first time in Kingman, AZ and now in Bakersfield. Wonderful accommodations at a reasonable price until the California tax add-ons. Oh well!, will we stay with Spring Hills again..... You bet!
The hotel and staff were all very accomodating the room was small for a suite and had only one TV to serve both rooms would have expected a flat screen in the bedroom and it was a little difficult to cool off but enjoyed our short stay. Thank you

"Great breakfast, but.."
I stayed here with my family, and would go again, espcially because the breakfast was more than you would get anywhere else. My only observation was that the bathrooms did not have any circulation, and noticed some mildew growing above the door. The hotel was very friendly, and understanding. Great hotel....It was set up nice fora business traveler. This wasa leisure visit for me visiting relatives in the area.

There were 10 people in our group 5 adults, 5 children and we had three rooms. Everything was excellent. Better than we expected. We will definitely return to this hotel.

We went to Bakersfield to look at some apartments for a future move, and were looking for a comfortable place to stay for a couple of nights. We chose Springhill Suites because of the hot breakfast, indoor pool, and the living area that was seperate from the sleeping area. The hotel was even better than we expected! The room not only looked and was […] clean, it felt clean! The living area was not large, but was very comfortable and had a wonderful homey feel to it. There was a small full-sized bed sleeper sofa that our two daughters slept on, a wing-backed type chair, two small end tables, nice lamps, desk and nice rolling chair, and tv sitting on a 3 drawer dresser. The king sized bed was very comfortable. Also, the room has a wet bar type area in the living area that has a sink , counter, overhead cabinets with microwave, sturdy disposable plates, glass glasses and coffee cups and coffee maker. There is also a mini-fridge nicely tucked under the counter. The bathroom is spacious and has a seperate vanity area. The room overall was excellent. In the mornings we went down for breakfast at the very nice and roomy breakfast area, and was very pleased with the food. Scrambled eggs, sausage patties, waffle maker, sweets, toast, bagels, english muffins, fruit, yogurt, juice, milk, lemon water, and more. Very nice! We really enjoyed our room- stayed here on the way south for Thanksgiving. The neighborhood isn't great, but we were just looking for a nice place to stay with the kids. Very clean, liked having the seating room and small kitchen area. Only complaint is, if you come during a busy season, prepare for the breakfast to be a bit challenging. We had to wait for a table and the staff was having trouble keeping the food stocked- we had to wait a while to get food. "Thin Walls"
The people & TV in the room next door were loud--which isn't the hotel's fault ~ I turned the air conditioner on loud---so it seemed to drown out the neighbors! I always wonder why, when hotels aren't very busy they don't space out the patrons more, so you aren't bothered by loud people?

"A good place to stay"
The hotel condition was very good. The elevator was a little dark, but we didn't stay in the elevator long. Our room was very clean and well cared for. "Worth the money"
We enjoyed the stay though it seems to cater to families and families can make noise. After our upstairs neighbors quit running around we were finally able to get some sleep and enjoyed our 1 night stay. The breakfast was good, though there was not enough seating to accomodate everyone.
