I have stayed here with my family on numerous girls' shopping trips. The hotel is clean, staff is very nice and accommodating, and breakfast is a nice addition. On this trip, there was remodeling of the lobby and breakfast area in progress, but honestly that did not adversely affect out stay. So convenient and we love it!

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel and room was very clean, the bed very comfortable, and the pool area was very nice. Breakfast was great! It's an excellent place to stay...very close to the Allen Events Center and lots of shopping.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Close to McKinney where we were attending a wedding. Added bonus was the outlet mall, literally right next to the hotel. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable and pleasant. Only complaint was housekeeping knocking on the door at 8 am. Make sure you use the do not disturb card.

We loved staying at this hotel the previous year. This time was awful! We requested a non-smoking room, and we were "given" one. There was a non-smoking sign outside our door, but the cigarette smoke smell bombarded us when we opened our door. As soon as we exited the elevator onto our floor, it was horribly stuffy and stinky smelling. It was like they […] had no type of air running to circulate things. We didn't check in until late that evening (around 10pm) and the front desk had mentioned that they were completely booked. So, we decided to just stick it out. Unfortunately, our youngest daughter was getting over the croup. As soon as we laid her down, it was awful. So, we didn't get any sleep either night. As long as we were out of the room, she was fine. When we checked out, the front desk told us that there were also smoking rooms on the same floor. Well isn't that just genius?!? I guess that is why the hallway reeked (still cannot figure out why they didn't have air running though). I really feel like someone had probably smoked in our actual room too though. So, our daughter suffered (and therefore us too) for two nights. Our nephew that stayed next door had breathing difficulty when in the hallways (has asthma), and I had to suffer through it being pregnant. I find it ridiculous that we had to deal with smoke when we booked our room as NON SMOKING a couple months ahead of time. We were offered free bottled water for our troubles. Close to two major shopping centers, events, and my home this is the perfect place to put up family when they come to visit. It's a very nice hotel with amazing breakfasts!

The room smelled smoky the whole time. One of the elevators wasnt working and they also had to come in and fix our tv.

I was very impressed with the courtesy of the staff over the two night stay. I did notice a couple of minor problems, one of which was resolved quickly. The curtain pull rod came off the blackout curtains Sunday morning; I told the desk staff about this and it was fixed by the time I came back to the room that afternoon. The other problem was not corrected […] - there was a lamp located behind the TV with no on/off switch. I told the staff that we could not turn it off without unscrewing the lightbulb. They did not correct this problem, but it may have been a matter of the lamp being plugged into the wrong wall outlet. I could not reach the outlet without moving furniture, so once again I unscrewed the bulb that evening. The hotel has a very nice hot breakfast included in the stay, and they change the menu daily. The staff was very friendly and did all they could to make our stay an enjoyable one. If we need hotel accommodations in the area again, we will definitely stay here!

One recommendation is to clean the carpets. The carpets in the common areas were pretty dirty with noticeable stains. The breakfast was great but sitting in a room with obviously unclean carpets was a bit unhealthy. Carpets in the rooms were vacumned daily. Hampton Inn and Suites in Allen is perfect for a shopping trip. It is ultra convenient to the shopping outlet, and there are many nearby restaurants. The rooms are clean, and the staff is super helpful. We've stayed there before on a girls' shopping trip, and we will again!

Everything was great except the pool room. It has an indoor pool and it had no air circulation in the room. It was 93 degrees in the room and was extremely uncomfortable sitting in their while letting the children swim.

I stay in Hampton Inns on a regular basis. This property although recently built was not up to standard for a Hampton Inn. The suite we stayed in was smaller than other like rooms at other locatiions. No local newspapers, Warm not hot water in bathroom. The coupon book for the local outlet mail can ber purchased for a small fee and the free tote bag […] was out of stock , However they would give you a bottle of water in place of the tote bag. Room not as clean as expected one bed was obviously more worn. Sock got dirty from carpet. Put a $50 hold charge on card that we weren't told about.

Hotel generally very clean. When checked in, there were sheets on the floor across the hall which remained overnight. It took until 3PM to have hotel room cleaned. We were on top floor. The hotel was great. I stayed for a week and the only problem I had was that my key card never worked at the end of the day. I had to get a new key everyday. They had no idea why it kept happening, they even had the lock changed on my door.

Walking distance from Allen Outlet Mall. Overall hotel an rooms were clean, and well kept. Only complaint was the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke when getting off the elevator on out floor, but only in this area.

My only complaint was the rooms were a bit loud. Every time the elevator arrived at our floor a very loud buzzer went off. Plus you could hear the a/c dripping and everyone's bathrooms pretty clearly. Next time we will just bring a fan :)

This hotel is a good value and is conveniently located next to the outlet mall and just off the Expressway. Still a new property. I would stay here again. Hotel staff very accomodating when Hotels.com customer service gave us incorrect info on the availability of a roll-away bed.
