We enjoyed our stay. Room was spacious and very clean. All employees provided exceptional service. Excellent breakfast. Very convenient to the highway for travel to other areas of Ireland.

Excellent service.. We arrived early, well before check-in time. Staff went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure we were checked into a room before we left for the game. Staff were wearing Munster jerseys which was an amazing touch! I have stayed here on numerous occasions and can never fault it!

The hotel was a bit hard to find since Southern Ring Rd didn't show up on my GPS. Should know that it is just off Childers Rd. Once I plugged that into the GPS, it was easy to find. Hotel has modern facilities kept in good condition. The room was spacious and was a great bargain. Free WiFi throughout the hotel & room had a wired connection which was […] fast. Breakfast was not included in the cost of the room, but a full breakfast was available for 10 EUR per person. Good selection, worth the cost. Tesco market located across the street if you need any snacks. Stayed for a night out in Limerick - great value & good service, a taxi ride home but still cheaper than a city centre location

The hotel is ideally situated close to Llimerick so is easy to access. The staff were friendly and professional. The hotel was very clean but the window in the room was locked closed so I was unable to open it to get fresh air in the room and so I found it very hot and stuffy overnight. The leisure facilities were very good but I had to wait for over […] 5 minutes before anyone came to the desk to deal with me. There was no bell to ring at the desk to call anyone so I had to wait for the girl to appear. She did apologise for me having to wait and then sorted out a towel and swim cap. Had a very enjoyable overnight stay at the Maldron. Found all the staff very pleasant and helpful and the leisure centre was first class. Was on a romantic with the wife and could not find fault. Well done to allconcerned for a very pleasant stay.

Hotel was decent enough. Pool was just ok. Smell in steamroom was unbearable. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Neighbourhood isn't that great but I knew that when I booked.

Nice comfortable room overlooking a quiet enclosed square. The leisure centre was very good and breakfast in the dining room was excellent. I had a bar food special for lunch on one day and it was okay. Overall an enjoyable stay at a copmfortable hotel.

3* hotel that is definatly 4* standard. Fine bar and restaurant and the leisure centre truly 1st Class. Staff all brilliant and we are back next week for a mid week break again.

Well out of the city centre and in a district that has very little to offer in the way of Restaurants so you will end up eating at the Hotel. The food in the evening is very basic. It will stop you feeling hungry but thats about all. Hotel has a well equipped gym and pool. Rooms are clean, well sized and clean. Unfortunately the food is limited to bar food which is pretty basic. Breakfast is all precooked and not kept particularly hot.

Good location,hotel clean and comfortable.No problems and would stay again there if I had to conduct buisines again in that region.good value for money

THe Maldron Hotel Limerick was comfortable, warm in good condition and not noisy during my stay. Some reception staff could have been more pleasant others were lovely. Security was very obvious and neighbourhood not so good.

I stayed here at I'd a breakfast meeting nearby. The hotel was very clean and the staff were excellent. I was staying on my own in a double room so there was plenty of space but the double bed was actually 2 singles put together so there was a definite join in the middle which was a little uncomfortable. I then returned to the hotel later in the evening and was greeted with the news that they could send out for food for me if I was hungry or that the bar was still doing sandwiches. I was also pleased that the car park entry barrier was accesible by room card only. The surrounding area is not very appealing as there is a halting site opposite and the hotel sits on a main route from the motorway to the city and is surrounded by various retail outlets. Visited for Munster rugby fixture - couldn't fault the service, hospitality and patience of the staff when confronted with supporters from both sides celebrating great match!!

I stayed at the Maldron Hotel Limerick for three nights last week. All my needs were catered for ,the staff were very helpful and polite. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Limerick city area... great hotel !!!

Was a good stay, great hotel with good facilities, and excellent, helpful, friendly staff. Although i didnt try the restaurant, the bar food was horrible, 3 of the worst bar/pub meals i've ever had. Other thatn this the hotel is perfect.

Great location, easy to find & good road infrastructure. Pool is decent size complete with jacuzzi, sauna & steam room. Perfect when you have had a long drive! TV has South & Northern Irish channels inc a few Sky. Secure underground parking too! Great value for money & would definitely stay again

Hotel was great. Staff were very friendly. We were put in the wrong room first of all but had no problem changing to a different room and was offered a complimentary drink each. The manager of the hotel sorted out a problem with our door being opened in the night from an over zealous perhaps security porter. Angelina behind the front desk was excellent […] on arrival. Clean hotel. The local area seems a bit rough but we took advantage of the local chinese takeaway and used the nearby Tesco as well. Got a great rate for this hotel so was just expecting a run of the mill set-up but was pleasantly suprised to find a very nice room and great experience overall. A bit out of the city centre but we had a car so it wasn't a problem. Great pool and leisure centre. Would definitely recommend.

Spent a night in the Maldron and was really impressed with the value. We stayed in a double room which was spacious, clean and really nice. We met up with some friends in the bar and at 8:50pm we ecided that we would like some food in the bar. Had a wonderful stay at the hotel the staff were very helpful and friendly, food was lovely, and the pool and facilities were great, nice and relaxing stay!

Hotel seems to be on its way out, and maybe it should be. It is in the middle of nowhere. Bar food was bad. Service was indifferent. There must be better places in Limerick than this.

Stayed at the Maldron with my girlfriend. We were very happy with the hotel and the service. The bar staff were very nice and engaging. Made us very welcome. The receptionists were lovely too. I went down to ask for a sewing kit. They didn't have one, but one of the receptionists was going to to get one out of her car. This hotel was very comfortable, a superb value for what we paid. Helena at reception was extremely friendly and made us feel very much at home. The only real drawback is that it's a little over a mile from the city centre, and public transportation in Limerick leaves a lot to be desired.

As we arrived at the hotel a group of traveller kids sat around the entrance which made me nervious about leaving my park outside directly accross from the hotel is a travelling site and people often walked accross into the hotel then left again it was a bit doggey

Great value for money. Rooms were big and clean. Buffet breakfast for 10 euro. off licence, chemist and tesco beside it. City 10 mins in taxi.

Staff were pleasant and very helpful. Room was very clean, bright and cheerful. Interior of Hotel itself was very nice. Location however did not feel 100% safe - barrier to residence underground car-park was kept upright at all times - public had access. If barrier were kept down confined to key-access only, it might have at least felt more secure.

Stayed there one night recently while on business. The hotel is fine and well maintained but the surrounding area is not great or safe. The hotel is a long way from the city center and there is nothing near by. I ate at the hotel bistro and had one of the worst meals I ever ate. Comfortable nights sleep but won't be returning.

Prime Location opposite halting site. First room I was given wasnt serviced and in a disgusting state. Second room had twin beds after expressly requesting a double. Third room was right beside a fan/extractor which kept me awake all night. This is my frst experience staying in a Maldron, I know they are cheap but are they all this bad?

First room was damp and noisy; toilet leaked and bed was uncomfy; but staff were fine about moving to a better room. Free wifi in public areas; would have liked access in bedroom. Public areas may be due for re-carpeting but all very clean

Ask ahead of time the hours that children can use the pool. When we went, they said that kids are not allowed after 7pm but they allowed our son to swim until 8pm. He would have been very disappointed otherwise. Also, they don't explain how to use the television. Ask at the desk to avoid frustration. No clock or alarm clock in the room.

We enjoyed our stay and found the hotel to be very nice and warm in this cold speel that we have been having. Very pleased with my booking. Cam for the rugby match and enjoyed all aspects.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Maldron Hotel and were well looked after. We didn't use the in-house dining facilities as the special offers at the time just didn't match our needs as a family. If going as a couple I think the pre-booked bed and breakfast rate looked like very good value. The location was very convenient and easy to find with good […] access although we had a car. It may be more diifcult if relying on public transport. There are several shops and supermarkets easily reached on foot as well as a wine shop and a couple of take-out restaurants.
