Overall a truly brilliant hotel. The staff and service were the best we have ever known, being both friendly and efficient, which made us feel that they genuinely cared about our comfort and happiness. The attention to detail was superb, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable; if not exactly to our taste. The food and beverage was excellent, […] the location stunning. The only tiny points to raise, in no way taking away from the experience and our enjoyment was that there was no free WIFI and there was no tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Every aspect - from staff to rooms - perfect. Clean, tidy and comfortable. I've stayed in a number of different places in reputedly top quality hotels and this stay stood out as an example of how it really should be done. The rooms are gorgeous: very large with beautiful bathrooms including stall showers and huge bathtubs. You don't need to bring "liquids" on the plane because everything you need is here. The location is perfect, near the German Historical Museum and the Museum Island.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a 4-day break in October 2011. It was our first vista to Berlin. The hotel was excellent in every respect. It is well situated for visiting 'Museum Island', which is within easy walking distance. It is also close to one of the main shopping areas in the city, and handy for local restaurants. We have stayed in many hotels around the world and this one rates with the best. Overlooking a stately square (Bebelplatz) and situated in a building that was once the Dresdner Bank, the Hotel de Rome is stately yet very chic. The shining marble bathroom was exquisite. The gold tiled pool in the old vault of the bank is the most luxurious pond into which a traveller could ever immerse their weary limbs. The Hotel de Rome is quite simply one of the best luxury hotel experiences I have ever had. The location is unbeatable--close to the Museum Island and shopping on the Friedrichstrasse. Great hotel and great location. Very attentive service and fabulous size rooms. We had a problem with our safe as the battery ran out but they had it fixed within twenty minutes and gave us drinks vouchers for our 'inconvenience' (not a problem really but we enjoyed the drinks anyway). Will definitely be back but not in February as it is FREEZING!

soggiorno indimenticabile presso questo hotel, posizione centralissima, cordiale e preciso il personale, ottimi gli arredi e le stanze ricche di ogni comfort, la spa è da cosigliare assolutamente...che altro dire se non PERFETTO!!

Wir habe eine Nacht im Hotel de Rome anlaesslich unseres Hochzeitstages verbracht. Die Lage und die Aussicht sind wunderbar! Leider war fuer den WInter die unglaubliche tolle Dachterasse geschlossen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr angenehm. Leider ist das Team noch sehr jung, und so kommt es dass das Fruehstuecksteam noch etwas unbeholfen mit den Gaesten […] umgeht. Auch der Zimmerservice um 9 Uhr abends, obwohl nur fuer eine Nacht eingecheckt und dem Service mitgeteilten Hochzeitsnacht - war, mh wie sagen wir es... etwas unangenehm und nicht nachvollziehbar! Leider ist auch die Einrichtung eher Mittelklasse und hat keinerlei verbindung mit dem kreativen das Berlin ausmacht. Ein Hotel wie viele andere. Beige roemische Statuen und Saeulen kann man leider auf jedem Bild erblicken und laesst sich leider auch nicht vermeiden - egal wo man hinschaut. Ich habe leider in dieser Preiskategorie mehr erwartet. Fuer Businessreisende und Familien sicher ein tolles Hotel! Fuer Reisende die gerne da aussergewoehnliche erleben wollen, leider nicht das richtige. Unangenehm ist es schon wenn ein solches Hotel der Klasse meint es müsste nur ein Handtuch im Badezimmer zur Verfügung stellen. Dass das System hat zeigten auch die Folgetage. Was soll der Blödsinn mit Strichcodes auf den Bademäntel? - Die verwaschenen Dinger klaut doch ernsthaft wohl niemand.

Hotel ist stylish, Lobby, Bar,etc. Gänge nicht cool, sondern kahl. Zimmer ok für den Kurs, aber nicht toll, haben nichts eigenes/besonderes. Pool mini, kann immer nur eine Person schwimmen, ungemütliches Ambiente.

Ein echtes Spitzenhotel mit einem Super-Service. Einziger Nachteil: Kein WLAN im Zimmer und in der Lobby kostenpflichtig

Strålende kombinasjon av luksus og personlig service. Frokostbuffetten er strålende. Dette blir mitt faste hotell i Berlin. eneste negative med hotellet er at internett koster en formue å benytte.
