Rodeway Inn & Suites Canyon Lake - Canyon Lake

It met my basic needs and was low cost but was barely warm enough during a cold spell because o an open breeze way on door side and large window which lost heat on the other. The heater ran all night but did not get very warm.

Place is a dump does not even look like the picture. Will never stay there again

The hotel was fair enough, however, the noise of the surrounding neighborhood where there was a bar and nightclub right next door, did not allow for a comfortable night's sleep. It was uncomfortable and I did not feel safe. There were other patrons at the hotel that were roaming through the halls until the early morning hours, which seemed to be connected […] to the bar/nightclub next door. Hotel was very old, but maintained very well. Only downfall was the room was very cold at night and the heater did not work. We called front desk, he came and looked at it and assured us it would work but that it would take longer since it had not been in use for quite some time. It never worked. Otherwise, we got what we paid for.

Some body checked in next door and kept me up till 2:30 in the morning

The price of the hotel was good but the condition was really bad overall. We had the hotel for two night stay. The bathroom floor was sticky, there wasn't a mat available for the shower. It was a walk in shower and very small. Either you got really hot water and cold was very hard to regulate temp for the shower. There wasn't enough towels in the room. […] I went downstairs to get three more towels since we were staying for two nights ( taking a shower Sat and then Sun and there were 4 of us) and I was told couldn't have any more towels?!?!? I said we are a paying customer why can't we have towels. The lady just looked at me and then called housekeeping. They were going back and forth and then she said they didn't have any towels and all were the wash. Are you kidding me?? 2pm in the afternoon and no towels?? mmm. Then I said well I will be calling the manager about this. Then guess what I got 3 towels within 30 minutes. How could I get 3 towels in 30 minutes if all were in the wash. The towels weren't hot from being in the dryer.hmmm. The bathroom sink was clogged. didn't drain well at all. No coffee pot. People were smoking in another room and it was suppose to be non-smoking rooms. I also asked for 2 more pillows when we checked in and was told you already have three on each bed why do you need more?? Never had a hotel question why I need more pillows. I have allergies so I need to sleep up more when I got to bed. What difference does it make. We have 4 people in the room and are paying for two adults and have two children. It was the worst experience we ever had! Water wouldn't drain from sink. Heater sounded like it would blow up when placed on Hi also no heat would come out unless fan was on LOW Asked for ajoining rooms with friends, they put us across the hall from each other, no extra towels available. not much to say for their idea of a Contential Breakfast

The tub looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a year. We where in room 104 I told the girl upfront & I do have some pictures on what it looks like.

First room had a broken sliding glass door, second room had a balcony door that worked but it smelled bad. The bed was relatively comfortable but the hall door was open all night (probably to mitigate the smell) it was pretty chilly out so our heater ran all night. Not my favorite hotel experience.

I have stayed at this hotel 3 or 4 times only because it is close to my sons home. During 2 of my stays, the shower did not work. The third time my daughter-in-law checked out the room upstairs that had recently be renovated, it was very nice, clean and the shower worked. Just needed a place to rest a few hours before a race we were running the following morning and wasn't too picky. Reviews on this place had us a little wary but was pleasantly surprised by what greeted us. Out of Single bed rooms and so we were given the dual room. Was able to park right near our room. Room didn't smell of smoke like some non-smoking […] rooms seem to which was a plus. Room, bathroom, carpets, everything, was clean. Hard to find. Missed driveway twice. Tub drain inoperative during shower.220 power to ac exposed. Need I say more? NOT recommeded.

Rodeway Inn & Suites was a nice place to stay. But the location was a little ways from the freeway. It was a nice room with a king size bed.

Our entire experience at this hotel was terrible. our room was full of flies, there was dirty tissue between the night stand and the bed.The bathroom door did not stay closed. The sink had a terrible odor and the faucet had no pressure. There was something disgusting on the lamp shade. They were fixing the roof and our room smelled like tar and the […] noise was loud. The next morning we were there the electricity went out . We could not use the things we needed to get ready.No one told us anything regarding the electricity. Our rug was not vacuumed. Let's see.... A/C dripped on the floor of the room. Fixed that with a wastebasket and a towel. Short in the connection to the bedside lamps. Continental breakfast? Glad my friend brought Starbucks. Cold cereal, coffee and nothing else is an insult.

I am not sure about what a motel staff can do to counter the problem I encountered at your inn, but; other guests continued to arrive and depart as late as 4 a.m. the morning of our overnight stay. They slammed doors, yelled, gunned motors, honked horns to call other guests outside, etc. It was impossible to sleep, even with the sliding door closed […] and the air conditioner running. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

The desk service was great but the room has a long way to go. The room we got was in the middle of remodling. Upon opeing the door, the smell if cigarette smoke filled your nose. It seemed decent until you enter the bathroom. The vent cover was laying on the floor and for what seemed to be a new shower, it was all stained.... At least I hope it was […] stains. I am from Temecula, so all of my friends live out there. We had three birthday parties to go to in one weekend and my fiance' and I live in orange county. So we booked a room at this hotel through Hotels.com because it was the least expensive room we could find (I'm being totally honest) and we were only going to use it to sleep in for maybe 4 hours […] before we were going to be on the go again. I knew right where it was at because I'm a big fan of Pepe's right next door, I had seen the hotel before and said to myself I wouldn't be caught dead staying there. So when I found out that's the hotel we had booked through this site I was slightly discouraged, thinking oh god what did we get ourselves in to. We arrive around 3:00 p.m. to check in and throw our stuff in the room we had planned on getting ready at my friends house where the first birthday party was at. But to our surprise when we walked in the room it was actually really nice. The shower.. well I wasn't sure whether I felt cleaner or dirtier when I got out, but the bathroom counter is huge. The bed is huge you get a couch and an entertainment center. I loved the colors the room was decorated in, my fiance and I looked at eachother in shock.. and said "We've paid a lot more for rooms then what we did for this and I think this one is actually nicer"! We told our friends that we saw over the two days we were in town and told them you'd really be surprised how nice it is for the price, and we would definitely stay here again. The lobby at check in smelled bad. We got to the room it looked clean but it smelled so bad. I thought it would only be for one night , we can get some room freshner. they were doing construction on other rooms,quite nosie. It must be a weekly rate hotel because there were people living there. We found a room for more then 3 times the cost of this room […] in Temecula and stayed in it. Roadway Inn & Suites - Canyon Lake: After reading some of the reviews I was a bit hesitant to book this hotel. I must say I am very glad that I did. Our room was large, clean and had everything we needed from mini fridge & microwave to blow dryer, iron & coffee maker . The continental breakfast was very sad! Out of coffee for about 1/2 hour and cereal looked preety old. No coffee packets in room to make coffee. Had an ironing board in room but had to ask for Iron. Carpet looked dirty.

Hotel has various maintenance problems - patio door would not lock and closet doors keep falling off of the tracks - finally just left the closet doors open - had their maintenance person come up and partially repaired the patio door, but gave up on the closet doors. When plugging in chargers for cell phone and computer - plugs would not stay in the […] plugs - kept slipping out. Bed noisy on one side. Requested that stained bed sheets be changed when we first went in. We did stay a 2nd night, as there is no refund of the Hotel.com advance payment. Continental Breakfast - two types of sugar-cereal, a few danish pastries, cold coffee (nothing like other hotels) Would we stay there again - NO, only unless the hotel changes. I had a three night stay at your hotel and repeatedly wrote a note to the maid service and asked for a laundry bag. Frustrated that it went unnoticed.

Holes in the wall, flaking paint, sink problems, wobbly staircase railing, general lack of maintenance.

The floors were dirty and one of the room door locks inside of my room was broken! It was right near a restaurant with loud and booming music. It felt icky there.

Employees very helpful, hotel room confortable and clean.

Hotel needs fixing, walls had holes, crakes in the bulding, out side stairs had wood shims for extra support. 3 minutes for hot water to reach the room. The AC was very loud.Rooms were clean, We had payed extra for the 3rd person, but only 2 sets of bath towels.

Room was large, clean and amenities were more then we expected. Location was nice with restaurant nearby. It was the best " bang for the buck".

First of all the strong smell that hits the nose when first entering the lobby...I almost vomitted. Second, I asked for a smoking room and when I entered my room, the smell again was atrocious. I'm a smoker and even I couldn't stand that stink smell trapped in the room given to me. So I went back to the stinky lobby and asked for a non-smoking room. […] It was ok however on the second day, I went to plug my laptop into the outlet behind the dresser/TV stand and noticed that there was trash back there. On the last day as we were leaving, I noticed a plastic bag on the floor where my daughter and her friend shared beds and asked my daughter's friend if that bag belonged to her. She stated no and picked it up and looked in it and to my dismay, it turned out to be old food that was left behind and was never thrown away from the previous guest. Who knows how long that was there and to think it had been there the whole 3 days we stayed there. Oh, I almost forgt, there is not swimming pool and the clerk told me that as a guest, we would be allowed access to the pool at the country club across the street. When we walked into the hotel room, it was extremely hot. The clerk even told us that we would have to turn the a/c on right away as it takes awhile for it to cool off the room. Walking through the halls was very hot, also. Requesting extra towels was not a friendly experience either.

Older hotel beds were comfortable,screens were ripped, holes in drapes, holes in walls. Staff was very helpful. This was one of the worst continental breakfasts I every had. Tried on the first day and that was it.

Recommended if you have no where else to stay.
