We stopped in for one night on our way to le Mont St. Michel. Nice room. Good location. No problem. Internet worked fine.

This was the last hotel we stayed in as a couple in a 3 week long tour through Germany, Austria and France and it was the place we liked best of all. The room and facilities were excellent - we had the best sleep of the entire holiday there. There was a large car park behind the hotel and our room was on the ground floor which made moving heavy cases […] a breeze. We used the room as a base from which to go out and explore Places such as Mont St Michel, Dinan, St Malo, Vitre - all within easy reach of St Brice en Cogles on mainly decent roads. The town of St Brice was clean and nicely kept too and we had the odd wander in the evening which was very pleasant. The staff were very efficient and the room was left spotless every day. As a result of our long days out and eating at our destinations, we only got to try the food on the last night and it was of a high standard and we had no complaints at all. Good choice to break a long journey. Hotel staff were courteous and pleasant. Big car park to rear. No traffic noise at night. Family room and bathroom was clean and spacious. Restaurant food is good though breakfast buffet is a bit limited and expensive for families as it's per head. Good base for exploring surrounding area (e.g. Mont-St-Michel). The staff was nice and friendly. The room was very small. Also, the toilet was in a different room from the sink and shower. The village was charming and the people friendly.

Le Lion d'Or Hotel in St. Brice en Cogles is a pleasant site in a charming, out of the way, small town about a 20 min drive from Fougeres. The two story hotel is located midway along St. Brices's main street. The town, one step out the hotel's front door, is modern and easily explored on foot. Parking is available behind the hotel. Both breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant, available at additional cost, were enjoyable and well prepared. A cozy, nicely decorated, 24/7 bar is located behind the reception counter. Personnel très agréable et sympathique. chambre très propre mais un peu chaude en cette période (pas de clim). supplément pour petit chien très abordable (+5€ par jour). l'hôtel est bien situé 30 minutes de St Michel, un peu moins d'1h de St Malo. Chambre impeccable, lit très confortable! Les petites terrasses des chambres en rez de chaussée sont très appréciables par beau temps. Le parking de l'hôtel est très pratique pour décharger les valises.

Tres belle hotel, propre, belle chambres, bien situe dans un beaux petit village a quelques minutes de l'autoroute et 1/2 heure du Mont Saint Michel.Tres beau buffet pour le petit dejeuner.

Facile à trouver, cet hôtel est à une vingtaine de minutes du Mont-Saint-Michel. Le personnel est chaleureux et accueillant. La chambre était propre, le lit très grand et très confortable. La douche à l'italienne ajoute du charme et de la commodité. Si vous avez la chance d'avoir une chambre en rez-de-jardin, c'est le pied car une petite terrasse couverte […] et sans vis-à-vis vous attend avec une table et deux chaises. Le petit déjeuner est copieux (buffet en abondance) et les produits très bons. Le soir, très peu d'animation mais pour une escapade en amoureux, on s'en passe très bien. Très bon accueil . Literie très confortable. Bon diner et petit déjeuner royal. Les chambres sont très au calme. Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir dans cet hotel.

Accueil très chaleureux de l'équipe sur place, très convivial. Hotel bien tenu. Nous avions une chambre en rez de chaussée,parfait avec le chien. Petit déjeuner copieux, varié et avec des produits frais très appréciables (la compote de pomme maison était délicieuse) Nous avons diné sur place un soir et le service est de qualité, les serveurs agréables. […] Ils ont fait des efforts pour adapté le menu pour notre petite fille de 3.5 ans. Bon Hôtel avec une bonne disposition des chambres, la mienne était assez spacieuse. les tarifs très honnête. Bonne cuisine et personnel aimable.
