"Close to preplanned destinations"
I did not like the hotel. We found old food and used toiletries in the room when we arrived. Then when we went to get in the hot tub before going to bed there weren't any towels. When my husband asked the manager for a towel he said he would provide one in 10-15 min. After 30 min. we went back to our room without towels. Then the fire alarm went off […] at 11pm and it took the fire company over 10 minutes to get to our hotel. After we finally got back inside, the people above us were very loud until 2am. I travel coast to coast, staying in all types of places, from inexpensive to ultra-expensive 5 stars, and I have never been treated so well, had such an utterly delightful, comfortable, relaxing, cozy, stay in such an impeccable property as this Homewood Suites. I got the best sleep there that I'd had in months, and every member of the staff were so […] kind, accommodating, generous, caring, and personable! Even if my travels took me not so close to Allentown, it would be worthwhile to stay there again just for the sheer pleasure of it. The hot meals were incredible. "Parents Weekend Getaway"
Our family met at the Homewood Suites as a central location. A cousin came in from Philly and it fit 5 adults and 2 children comfortably for dinner. The kitchen area was great and the front desk provided all the extras we needed. It had gotten late and instead of traveling back my cousin decided to stay. A cot was promptly provided. Ideal for small family. Availability of breakfast and some dinner renders it unusually versatile and independent. Service and support was excellent.

hotel seemed very new and well-maintained. staff was helpful and courteous. room had a full kitchen and large refrigerator. a full breakfast buffet was provided the following morning. highly recommended, especially for the price!
"Exceptionally clean and comfortable"
I was expecting a nice stay after reading prior reviews, but was blown away by this room - a ceiling fan! Bed was very, very comfortable and kitchenette was nice (I got the suite) - all new and I would definitely appreciate staying here for extended travel. Full size fridge, cook top, microwave and sink. The only possible negatives were: 1) there was […] a compressor or other sort of motor outside, I guess, nearby that would kick on frequently - it was easy for me to ignore. 2) Our room happened to be near the basketball court/tennis court outside and some kid was dribbling around 8am out there and I had to turn the tv on to drown out the sound so I could sleep in. 3) Housekeeping tried to come in on the morning we were checking out (about 45 mins-1 hr. before check out), and then some other guy, an employee, knocked on the door shortly after - said he was just checking the room or something like that. We had booked this hotel, because we were going to Dorney park for the weekend. It was about 10 miles away and about $100 cheaper than other places closer (give or take) and easy to get to and from - I have stayed at the Homewood Suites before, so I knew I would be happy.
