Very nice hotel, great folks working there! I would stay there again, but it is not quite in the heart of where one needs to be for Napa. It takes a good 30 mins to just get into anything. This hotel was lovely in many ways. The room was spacious and comfortable. The resort had nice amenities (two pools, a hot tub, kiddie pool, onsite restaurant - even a free shuttle to bring you into Napa). But beware that this property is more than a hotel. If you go to the concierge desk for ANYTHING, they will try to pitch you to get you to buy into […] a timeshare on the property. I was not aware of this when we booked the hotel, and it was quite off-putting when I approached the concierge to help with a dinner reservation, only to get caught up in a 20 minute sales pitch when I had no intention and no interest in purchasing a time share. If you are looking for a nice wine country get away, STAY AWAY!!!! This Place is in the boonies, developers threw it up between the ghetto, a highway, and high power electrical lines. They are making a killing by overcharging because they are in the midst of constructing 200 more rooms as timeshare condos. The welcome bottle of wine is sweet like syrup, cheap late harvest, bring your diabetes medicine. the room is clean, but the overall feel is like staying at a cheesy timeshare convention center. not romantic at all! for the same dollars you can get a beautiful place in napa or sonoma, I highly urge you to save your money and spend it elsewhere. This was a beautiful hotel. The lobby was clean and bright. There was a lot going on around us when we entered, but we didn't feel rushed. The man who checked us in was smiling and friendly. We easily found our building which was marked . My only complaint is the lack of doorstops when entering our building with our luggage. There were three doors to […] hold open while lugging our luggage along. I understand the front door of the building needs to stay closed, but to enter our room, there is an antechamber to lead to our room doors. The facility would easily accommodate a suite the way the rooms are set up. A simple doorstop would have solved the room door issues even if only used when checking in and out. So we entered our room and it was absolutely lovely. We had a small back porch with seating and a view of the vineyard, a well stocked kitchen with all the utensils we could possibly need, and a comfortable king size bed. There was an extra-deep tub and a washer-dryer set up in the room. The following morning, we had reservations for a massage at the conjoined terra spa. The entrance staff was pretty abrupt (especially for a spa), but the massage was very nice and they also had a hot tub and steam room for our use. There was a pool on the property that we did not use, a bocce ball set. We did enjoy their restaurant. It was late when we got there so it was quiet and relaxing. Excellent hotel in many ways 1 Will Stay again. Front desk and concierge very helpful. wE HAVE DONE A LOT OF TRAVELOING AND THIS PLACE RANKS UP NEAR THE TOP.

The hotel itself was very nice. I felt like I was walking into a magazine when I opened the door. The only problem we had with the place was housekeeping. They entered our room 3 times uninvited- and we were only there for one night! They entered the room around 2:30 pm right after we checked in, 9:30 am the next morning (they woke us up) and 12:00pm […] when we were trying to pack up to leave. I travel to the Napa area every couple of month for business and this is by far the preferred place to stay. The bottle of wine waiting in the room at the end of the work day is a nice treat. If I have clothes to wash there is a washer and drier in the room with washing soap. Spa and Trinitas winery on premise were excellent. The one restaurant (Sienna) on site had terrible service and dirty glassware. Concierge was overwhelmed and had a hard time responding to requests. The staff was very friendly and engaging. The room was very clean and had everything I needed. The resort offered 24hr room service from the Meritage. I would recommend that you attend the timeshare presentation the first day they had some great perks like 2 for 1 wine tastings. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The only negative thing I can say about our stay at the hotel is that it was too short! The property that Vino Bello sits on is beautiful and is conveniently located. The staff was extremely friendly and the hotel has a lot of amenities - a great spa, pools, bocce ball court, wine bar and a beautiful vineyard where you can walk and enjoy an afternoon picnic.

My husband and I came here with our two daughters to celebrate a college graduation, and to do some wine tasting. The two bedroom condo was perfect for our family. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. I wish would could have stayed there a week.

Very nice room with a few peculiar aspects: the towel rack can't be reached from the shower, toilet has little privacy if someone else wants to brush their teeth, at least one of the power outlets didn't work or was on a switch. Hotel was good. We only stayed one night, my only complaint was it was supposed to be a smoke free hotel and there was obviously someone disregarding the policy. Otherwise overall a decent stay.

They had everything that we need in the room! Kitchen utensiles, various dishes, knifes, cutting board, salt&pepper, Oven, Microwave, They even have blender!!! The hotel is great I loved the condo room They were amazing plenty of space great amenities i literally felt like it was my house and after going out for the day it felt awse to be able to come back And relax in such a beautiful room. Complementary wine and water in the room on arrival. Hotel is outside the city, but has free shuttle every 30 min. You can call the shuttle and it will pick you up at your restaurant or other location. Very friendly staff.

My wife and I spend our anniversary at the Vino Bello in Napa. Everything in the resort from staff to living condition was perfect and we enjoyed our stay there very much. However, one small item was a constant problem: at night the heater/fan started every 10 to 15 minutes, Unfortunately the fan was VERY noisy and constantly interrupted our sleep. […] This seems like a small thing in an otherwise fine hotel, but it becomes important when one is trying to sleep. Great experience at this hotel. Everything was perfect. Only draw back and it is small is, it is in an industrial park area. Would come back again in a heartbeat.

Separated from wineries, tourist shopping, and traffic, the Vino Bello is largely what it says it is- a resort. The onsite pools, grape vines, spa, gym, and restaurant enable you to stay and never leave the premses until you depart for home. The restaurant serves very decent food for lunch and dinner, though the menu did not have a wide variety of choices. There is an adult pool to help folks relax in quietude, and they serve drinks from the nice full bar that is near the lovely lobby. Given the 4 star rating I would have thought the "suite" we had would have allowed a bit of space once the sofabed was pulled out, it did not! Also the room had very little drawers and for a longer stay it would have been impossible for my family (2 Adults, 2 Kids). This hotel was very well decorated and pretty on the outside. Rooms were comfortable. Not in a great location, kind of removed from all the wineries. They do offer a shuttle though. Please don't let the location be an issue for you. within minutes of leaving the resort in either direction, you were on the road heading to your destination. We traveled to both Sonoma and Napa Valleys without issue. The resort is awesome and a great value for the dollar. Only a few issues....no towels or water dispenser cups in the tiny fitness center. […] This area could really use an upgrade in both equipment and space. Tried to check in at 3:30pm and was told the room was not ready but it would be no later than 4pm and they would call us. At 4:05pm still with no call went to the front desk and were told our room "just became available"...coincidental? The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable with great balconies and amenities. My boyfriend and I had one day to stay in Nappa and found Vino Bello a great value. It is a beautiful resort with many wonderful accomodations. It is easy to see why someone would book a time share there. We enjoyed our spacious room and the surrounding vineyards. We would definitely go back again!

Pros: - Very nice 1-bedroom condo - Good restaurant, pool and customer service - Convenient to Napa and Vallejo (our destinations) Cons: - The business-park setting is nondescript - On-site construction is currently disruptive (04/20/2011) Overall, we felt this was a very good value for the money and will be happy to stay there again.

My husband and I absolutely loved the feeling of being home with the beautiful kitchen and relaxing living room. The bathroom looked liked it was from DIY's Baththastic! Amazing!

The hotel was beautiful! All the workers were friendly and helpful. The shuttle service to downtown was fabulous and free! The only problem was that the washing machine was seriously possessed and the dryer didn't work. But I would most defidently return!
