Last minute trip, convenient location, close to cliff walk and other sites, pleasant stay.

If you want a true New England experience in a quality and beautifully decorated inn/hotel with charming hosts this is it. Inn was spotlessly clean;close to historic mansions but a bit of a walk to the center of town. Everyone was friendly, and the breakfast both mornings of our stay was DELICIOUS! My only complaint was the air conditioning was either turned off or way down at night, and as we were on the third floor it got warm in the room, even when we used the fan that […] was provided for us. My husband and I stayed here for 1 night for a wedding nearby and it was great. The staff were very sweet and offered information about where to go and how to get there. We stayed in the Caroline room and it was very nice but the bed did sink a little in the middle (my only complaint). I was pleasantly surprised by the flat screen TV. Very good location - can walk to cliff walk or restaurants or mansions - and the foods offered were truly remarkable in quality and quantity. There were multiple choices of fresh fruits and home made baked goods as well as a hot breakfast available every day. The staff are very friendly. Our only complaint was that the bed was a little saggy.

The Victorian Ladies Inn in Newport, RI is a very nice B&B. We were greeted by the owner and the Inn Keeper. They served tea and cookies at 4:00 p.m. The room we stayed in was very nice. Looked very Victorian but with a modern bathroom and shower tub. They served a full breakfast. I would recommend this B&B most highly.

Very comfortable and clean rooms, good food, and friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely consider staying at this inn again.
