Putahracsa Hua Hin - หัวหิน

Shame we were not aware that hotel is split by a busy road. Great food and swimming pools, but a bit more detail needs to be paid to things like mold in bathrooms and chipped paint work !!

I stayed in this hotel for a few days on Feb 2012 and it was amazing! The staff is great, the room was amazing and also the hotel facilities, especially the swimming pool... :)

Not as good as Hua Hin Hilton, but fairly close. I would gave rated it ****+ instead of *****.

We stayed at this hotel for 8 days and we really enjoyed our stay here. If you are going to Hua Hin (we dont recomend this city) you should stay at putaracsa (we DO recomend the hotel). The breakfast is very good, the rooms are exellent, the pool area is really nice and the hotel restaurant is a MUST! This was the best food and the best location to […] eat in hua hin. The staff are ok (reception a bit bored, breakfast staff friendly, housekeeping amazing) and there is a shuttle that takes you to town but you have to get home yourself. The beach is ok to look at by night but you dont want to take a swim or be there during the day. But the main beach is not any better so for us this was the best location in hua hin because it was not as stressful as the hilton area for example. We stayed as a couple at the hotel in end of November 2011, and there is nothing bad to say about the hotel or the service. Everything was done with gentle and style, and it was very comfortable for us. The staff was always doing what they could to go the extra mile. Free drinks or fruit was served daily at the pool and my girlfriend had birthday while […] staying at the hotel, and they even brought us cake and sang a birthday song. We stayed in the 'sand silk' rooms, and there was everything needed. The style was a mix of thai and western culture. The rooms were serviced twice a day with free water and ice cubes. Cleaning was also well done. Breakfast was very delicoius with different kinds of fruit, juices, milkshake, everything with eggs were made fresh after wishes. Cakes, pancakes, sausages, fried tomatoes, cornflakes etc. was just some of the choices to pick from. The hotel has also an excellent restaurant at the oceanside, where several delicious dishes are served. It's also possible to enjoy a seasonal cocktail in the lounge couches just few meters from the ocean. The hotel offers also one way 'tuktuk' service to downtown Hua Hin. Without a doubt this has been the most fabulous hotel/resort we have ever stayed at. The only thing that exceeds the beauty and warmth of this hotel is their staff. Their attention to detail and the warmth and friendliness that they exude creates a desire for those visiting, never wanting to leave. And this friendliness is across all levels of service; […] from cleaning staff, to reception, to waiters/waitresses, to the drivers of the Tuk Tuk, to the road crossing guards, to the gardening staff, all the way to middle and senior management. Everyone (including Nee, Tee, Nu Nu and especially Rath) wanted to ensure that we experienced a memorable stay and I can state with all certainty that they met and exceeded their goal. The food is truly gourmet. Although many may want to experience other restaurants in the Hua Hin area, this will not be a necessity as the food prepared by the chef at Putahracsa is 5 star quality at a 2 star price, which is unheard of at this standard of hotel/resort. The amenities are many, which makes site seeing a bit of a challenge as you may find yourself grappling with leaving the resort to see other attractions at the expense of missing out on the beauty of the resort itself. my neighbour building was repairing, it's a bit noisy. Besides that, the service is good and Thailand traditional spy is comfortable. Although they may not understand what you say(in English), they will try to get your meaning and provide the kindly help.

I've stayed 3 days here in June 2011. Since i lived in Oceanbed Pool Villa Room, the room size is large for relax, very private. Cozy sofa, comfort bed. i enjoy fresh fruit everyday once we come back to the hotel. However, i seldom use the pool inside the villa, coz the pool is completely in shade all day, the water is so cold to swim. But i'd enjoy […] much of the jacuzzi inside my bedroom with bath oil provided. There is iPod Speakers provided, but i can recharge my ipod from the machines. The staff is fabulous, very nice and efficient. The free tuk tuk service to the city provided by the hotel is very convenient. You can arrive to the night market less than 10 mins. The Putahracsa Hua Hin is a beautiful facility. With the exception of the front desk staff, who we thought decidedly uneven and mediocre overall, everyone was extremely gracious. They made us feel welcome. A somewhat odd "feature" of the property is that it is split by a street that effectively divides the hotel into two distinct areas. The swimming […] pools on both sides really promote a sense of tranquility, which, I suppose, is the whole point. In any case -- they really do the job, and although the property is not very large, there is a good feeling of isolation. One caution might be that although Hua Hin is a beach town, we saw very few people using the beaches for more than quiet walks in tidal pools. The only meals we took at the hotel were the included breakfasts, but they were great. The fare was extremely varied and plentiful, ranging from made-to-order omelets to what was essentially a full Thai meal. The good and the bad of the location is that the hotel is a little off the beaten track, so we found ourselves making pretty regular circuits into the heart of town. The hotel provides a courtesy "tuk-tuk", which we used on occasion, but we did make the 10-15 minute walk many times. Although most of the sights along our route were unremarkable, they did provide a good feel for "real life" in Hua Hin, Walking past shops and vendors and crowds of school children produces the sense of place that we always treasure during our travels. Hua Hin is known as a center for custom tailoring, and the many, many shops along the main drag are testimonials to the claim. First up, the staff at the hotel were fantastic; friendly and helpful to a point which almost became ridiculous—namely the 'road safety monitor' with flashing baton who escorted us over the mostly-quiet road between the two sides of the resort. The front office staff recommended fantastic authentic Thai restaurants for us to try and nothing was too […] much trouble, including our request to change rooms when we arrived at our ostensibly private pool villa to find it adjoined the hotel carpark so it was noisy and felt as if the world was having a party on our doorstep. Our new villa was better but the layout of the resort means private pools are cold because they're overshadowed by the double storey buildings and the great double sun lounge in the villa isn't next to the pool but plonked behind a hedge where anyone strolling back to their room can see you. Sunbathing without bathers is out. In other words, the private villa is more a large semi-public room, albeit a super clean one with loaded iPod (beware if you are allergic to Mariah Carey) and nice ambience. Breakfasts were decent, the food was fresh and delicious at the beachfront restaurant, the cocktails were perfect, the beach was the worst I've seen anywhere in the world bar Mumbai, with filthy water and sand and a roaming population of mating wild dogs. Once we accepted there would be no swimming in the sea—hard for an Australian to bear—and that the dogs were part of the local charm, we spent four very relaxing afternoons on the lounges in front of the beachside pool, which was almost always deserted and the perfect temperature. The hotel has no fitness centre so our daily workout cost us 600 THB per couple plus 120 THB for a five minute tuk tuk ride to a nearby gym. The staff at the spa seemed young and a little inexperienced. If you are looking for a relaxing stay- look no further! This hotel is clean, friendly, modern. The design of the place is simple yet modern and elegant. The staff is friendly. Breakfast is wonderful! It has all the qualities of a five star resort yet feels homey at the same time. Must try narby restaurant by the water called The Moon terrace for great food and service! Pty itself looks exclusive and upmarket compared to rest in the area. Villa is bigger than it looks! Service was good and prompt as well; lounge area fan wasn't working, 1 call and a while later, the staff came and fixed it. However, there was quite a bit of mozzies around, but not much of a biggie since there was electric mozzie wall plug and lemongrass […] oil lit up every evening to chase em away. 位置十分方便的酒店，在入華欣的Van仔總站附近，酒店附近已有很多食店，步行去夜市只是十多分鐘的路程，唯一是房間内有點舊。員工服務十分好！

ゲストは、欧米人ほとんどとタイ人のヤンエグ（古いですが、この言い方がぴったりなんです）が少しという感じで、滞在中は日本人の方は見かけませんでした。 日よけパラソルの下で海を見ながら本を読んだり、お昼寝したりを喜びとしているのですが、このホテルの海側のデッキチェアーにはパラソルがなくほぼ一日中かんかん照りでした。 一方、道を挟んだプールには、木陰やパラソルもあり日焼けを気にせず過ごせました。 ホアヒンは小さな町なので基本徒歩で大丈夫ですが、このホテルは町の中心から10分程度ととても便利です。治安もいいので、すこし涼しくなってから夜ごはんはぶらっと食堂に食べに行くのも楽しかったです。 設備面では、シャワーの水量が物足りない、温度が低いなど改善が必要な部分も多少ありましたが、この値段のブテ […] ィックホテルとしては概ね満足しています。 อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Todella ihana hotelli, hyvä ja ystävällinen palvelu. Mitä tarvitsetkin, se joko löytyy jo tai järjestetään.

Super lækkert hotel, dog blev vi skuffet over at der lå en befærdet vej, som delte hotellet i to, en seaside og en gardenside. Dette var ikke klart beskrevet på Hotels.com. Men ellers var der ikke noget at sætte en finger på, meget servicemindene hotelansatte, dog kunne deres engelskforståelse dog godt være lidt bedre. Stranden er absolut ikke badevenlig, […] tror i det hele taget ikke at strandene i Hua Hin er egnet til badning, vand var grumset og fyldt med affald. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja sai meidät tuntemaan itsemme erittäin tervetulleiksi. Huone ylitti odotuksemme ja tulemme varmasti palaamaan tähän hotelliin.

Super godt hotel med serviceminded og professionel personale. Eneste minus er, at stranden langt fra lever op til forventningen. Stranden er desværre meget beskidt og indbyder ikke til badning.

God beliggenhed - lidt fra centrum, direkte ved stranden, men samtidig i gåafstand til byen. Flot service på alle områder. Dejlig morgenmad. Store værelser med direkte adgang til have og swimmingpool. Kan absolut anbefales, og vi vil helt sikkert selv benytte det igen, hvis vi vender tilbage til Hua Hin.

Meget vennlig betjening, elegant restaurant ved sjøen. Også fint på andre siden av gaten, behagelig basseng område, stille. 10 min gange til sentrum. Anbefales.

Vi bodde fem nätter i en Sand Sky villa. Den låg i närheten av den stora poolen (inte den direkt vid havet.) Rummet var stort och perfekt med en avskild tv-del där vi kunde sitta när vår bebis gått och lagt sig. Takterrassen var också mysig och väldigt privat till skillnad från de billigare rummen som alla vetter mot varandra. Personalen är vänlig […] och otroligt hjälpsam. Frukosten är mycket bra med många alternativ. Vi åt på hotellets restaurang Oceanside en kväll och maten och utsikten där var fantastisk! Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold på Putaracsa i Hua Hin. Utrolig service, flott rom og område. Ser at andre har skrevet at det er et minus at hotellet er delt av en vei, det synes ikke vi gjorde noe. Frokosten på hotellet er imidlertidig bare helt grei, men absolutt ikke dårlig. Vil anbefale dette hotellet på det sterkeste

オーシャンベッドビラ（ジャグジー付き）に家族旅行で3泊しました。 ナイトマーケットやナイトバザールの海鮮レストランへのアクセスは大変良いです。またビーチに隣接（オーシャンベッド側）しているので、ロケーションにも優れています。 中心地まではホテルのトゥクトゥクが無料で利用できますので、行きはそれに乗り、帰りはブラブラしながら帰って来るのが良いかと思います。 ホテルの設備にはやや問題があります。デザイン重視のシャワーヘッドやシンクは実用的ではありませんので、改善を求めたいところです。 ジャグジーは水を溢れさせるまで満水にする必要があり、溜めるまでの時間も1時間かかります。 オープンして1年たっていないみたいですが、フローリングの塗装が剥げていたり、野外のマットがかびていたりしたのが若干 […] 気になりました。また全体的には清掃も行き届き、きれいなのですがやや無機質な感じがしました。 従業員のサービスは比較的良い方だと思いますが、日本人の感覚からはやや物足りない面もあります。 宿泊した2階の部屋は他の部屋から結構丸見えになっていたり、プライバシーの面ではどうかと思います。また1階の部屋に関しては陽が当たりにくいような感じを受けました。 朝食は道路を挟んだ本館側まで行かなくてはならず不便を感じました。食事の内容は普通です。 海側のレストランで夕食を食べましたが、雰囲気重視のため照明があまりにも暗く、改善の余地があります。また食べかけ中にも関らず、食器類をすぐにさげたりするのは如何なものでしょうか？料金も高いので質的にはお勧めできません。 ホテルの位置はヒルトンの反対側に位置するため、夜は比較的静かで、酔客もいないため治安的にも安心かと思います。 ロケーションと静かな点では90点ですが、この設備とサービスでは正規料金の価格がやや高いような感じを受けましたのでトータルとしては70点です。しかしヒルトン側の猥雑な感じを避けるならば、ベストな選択かと思います。今後の改善に期待します。 อ่านเพิ่มเติม
