May daughter was running the Zooma half-marathon. Our room was facing the finish line. I liked that I could open the windows and watch and hear all the action. Beautiful setting. Just outside of town but felt a million miles away. Gorgeous trails, great pools, large rooms, comfy beds, great food and service everywhere except poolside. Will definitely stay here again, though will probably bring kids. TONS for them to do! Including outdoor movies with popcorn, s'mores, petting zoo, etc

Very pleasant & friendly resort

Had we not eaten anything, it would have been a great trip.

Every aspect of this resort was outstanding. Great food, great service, extra kudos to Victoria for making my wife’s birthday memorable. We will certainly make this one of our families reoccurring getaway destinations.

We love the Lost Pines and would highly recommend it for family getaways. Lots of family activities and cool things for the adults. The spa is amazing and the golf course is really nice. Just a great place to stay.

Nice Hotel, please allow 2-3 days stay to allow to enjoy all it has to offer , it was a very pleasent stay

The Lost Pines is a wonderful property and the staff there are incredibly friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Our only disappointment was our own fault, due to our poor planning we did not have time to truly enjoy the amenities the hotel has to offer. I cannot say enough good things about this resort. The employees there are the best, great attitudes, helpful and always at your beck and call. My children loved the pool, crooked river and especially the slide. I will be staying there again soon.

My children and myself enjoyed every bit of what the resort had to offer. The pros included: a great pool area; plenty of helpful and courteous staff; free parking; scheduled activities for the kids; decent food on property. Geared to small children / our two teenagers were bored after 1 day. Lazy pool very crowded. Fun activities all cost extra. Outdoor movies all geared to small children. Lost pines is fantastic, just be advised if you are looking for a romantic getaway that there are a lot of families with small children during the summer and the festive family atmosphere can be a little noisy.

The Hyatt at Lost Pines in Bastrop is a kids paradise. It is fun for the whole family. The hyatt lost pines was a great experience. The only negative was that I paid for a premiere room and it felt like a normal first floor hotel room. Everything else about the place is great. We went 45 minutes from home for a one day get away and it felt like we were at a 5 star resort far away.

Every single detail of this hotel and resort was perfect-- from the super comfortable beds and huge bathrooms to the amazing spa. We enjoyed riding bikes, putting around on the putting green, shooting hoops, sitting by the fire, soaking in the hot tub and taking romantic walks! Given the room rates, adding a resort fee is absurd. Our room was fine but our son's room was noisy. Either a very loud baby was crying off and on next door through the night or a tireless cat was outside the first floor room window. My husband and I stayed at the hotel for our 5th wedding anniversary, AND IT WAS AWESOME!!! EVERYBODY was nice! The three ladies that really stood out from our visit was Chelsea, 2 the front desk, Christina, @ the sports bar, and Stephanie, the assistant manager!!! I think the Hyatt Resorts offer the perfect combination of things for active families. You can play in the pool, relax on the lazy river, play golf, tennis, ride bikes, get a facial. It's the total package. And, the grounds are gorgeous and meticulously maintained. Great activities for kids and families to enjoy together.

I wanted to have some alone time with our family in a nice setting and this hotel was wonderful. Great amenities, pool and activities for kids. Great food. We were asked constantly if we needed anything or if we had been helped. Lovely Hotel, we will be coming back for a longer stay.

crooked river pool was a hit w/ the kids; the grounds were lovely! The best part was the quiet.

There were plenty of things for the kids (10 & 13) to do around the lazy river and pool. They had a blast and so did we, wish we had found this place a couple of years ago. The only thing negative was the price, and then getting nickel and dimmed on charging for self parking, internet and a general use fee.
