Stayed April 2012. While this hotel is not nice by any means, it's a great deal. We've stayed multiple times, and they keep improving the place. Adding mini-fridges and ice machines were key. The front desk guy (appears to be the owner) moves very slowly, but that's about my only complaint. (If you're not first in line, be patient.) The other front desk woman is great. The hotel did a good job of handling a large party of 18 high school students and 4 adults. The location near A&M and easy access to a number of restaurants was great.

Comfortable hotel for the price. Breakfast was very average (I passed) waffles, danish, toast, & beverages. Room Clean. Typical motel. Very convenient to University buildings and stadium. Completely unsatisfied with stay at this motel. Room smelled very bad, a/c very loud, linen was not fresh. I may never hear the end of our stay from my wife for the rest of my life. Thanks a lot hotels.com. Please drop the Knights Inn from your search. I may have done better if I had allowed my family to sleep in a VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!!

Nice hotel however, they need to spray more for bugs. Too many mosquitos in the room. Beds are alittle too soft mattress should be replaced. AC units are too noisy!!

Convienient location near two of the main roads in/out of the University. Numerous other amenities in close proximity to motel.

The room was clean and the location is convenient, but the place is surrounded by abandoned apartments and it seems as though when they closed the apartments they relocated the tenants to the Knights Inn. Great place if you are looking to score some blow or a place with weekly rates.

We rented 3 rooms for our entire family for a one night stay while traveling to Houston. Although this is an older facility the rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable and the price was reasonable. The continental breakfast the next morning was ample and what we expected. Under the same circumstances we would stay here again.

The hotel had a clean comfortable room and friendly staff. The area behind the hotel is run downs but it did not bother me. One downside was that when I made my reservation through hotels.com I was told that my pet was no extra charge. When I checked in, there was an additional 20 dollar charge

I stayed here at the last moment for a tournament my daughter was participating in and requested a non-smoking room. This rule was/is not enforced by the hotel.....our room smelled awful. The lamp shade next to the bed looked like a frat party had been using it the night before. The door to the room wouldn't lock, so thank goodness for a deadbolt once […] we were inside. Overall great. I stayed two nights. Large King room, with fridge & Microwave. Check in was quick, easy and friendly. my room was clean. The only problem I had was when I went for breakfast the next morning, the older man behind the counter looked at me but didn't greet me. So I am from the Houston area and being next to an abandoned building is no big deal. It is not the prettiest, but for going to a tournament at the campus for a family of 5, it is a great price. It is well lighted and I was not worried about someone stealing my van or breaking in. Great place. Older, but well maintained. Rooms are large. Bathroom and dressing area average size. Everything very clean. Carpet in good shape. Nice clean smell. No sprays to mask smells. I was a little scared at first to stay at the hotel based on how reasonable the price was, but we enjoyed our stay and will stay there again when we are in the area.

Older hotel, very clean and comfortable. Missing a few basic ammenities, such as an alarm clock (i have never seen a hotel room with no clock in it) but other than that was very comfortable and perfect for our needs.

This is an older hotel but very well maintained. It is solidly built and so very soundproof. We did not hear anyone or even any plumbing noises. Service was excellent. The continental breakfast was very nice. It is located very close to Texas A&M University on Texas Avenue. The surrounding area was defunct apartments. Old, but clean. Convenient to TAMU campus.

I have stay at this hotel on several occasions but seems that with every stay is less satisfactory than the time before. Television picture was poor and before I left didn't show at all, the room was very out dated, the bed was very uncomfortable, and the bathroom was less the pleasing. Very shady crowd and hotel was littler with beer cans and gang looking members

This hotel is nothing to write home about, but it is a great location. Very close to Texas A & M campus and is affordable for home football game weekends. We have stayed here several times.

Breakfast Buffet was a joke!!!! Coffe and Cereal..

Close to A&M where we were haveing The Fall Games for Special Olympics. Close to all venues, lots of eating places. Hope to stay there next year.

I found the hotel convenient and comfortable. Even though, the pool was small and the breakfast was minimal. They had no fresh fruit, bagels, cream cheese or real juice. This is an inexpensive, dated hotel. There are other similar hotels in the area -- at a similar price. The difference is that those hotels are maintained and cared for. This hotel is dirty. Just plain dirty. It's tolerable for one night if you have no other alternatives.

I think we were all hesitant and a little nervous about our stay at the Knight's Inn, but we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was affordable when compared to other College Station hotels during a college football weekend. The location was convenient, close to restaurants and not far from campus, and safe, especially considering the rooms have exterior […] entrances; the staff seemed nice and helpful (we requested a late check out and they gave us an extra hour); and the rooms were clean. By no means was the Knight's Inn a luxurious hotel. In fact, it was far from it. The hotel offers free breakfast, though it left much to be desired; the room was comfortable in a very basic way, though it was far from what I would consider to be "nice." It did serves it's purpose though for a young group of friends (that included girls) needing a safe, clean, convenient, and affordable place to shower, sleep, change, and start out the days for a college football weekend. I would recommend the Knight's Inn for anyone that needs a cheap hotel for a packed College Station weekend in which all the other accommodations are priced high. This hotel is so close to campus. The rooms have extremely comfortable beds, great a/c, fridge, clock, microwave. Pricey during game days, but worth it with the great location. would stay again for sure.

we had stayed at this hotel before and the experience was not great. This time the rooms were in good condition and it was perfect for what we needed. a place to rest for one night after a great Aggie win!! staff was very friendly

We were pleased overall with the hotel. It is older, but clean. It appears that they price gouge. We were there on a A&M football Friday and paid more than we paid at the Galleria in Houston the following day.

Check in was a nightmare! It was game day and they only had 1 person checking in people. We tried to check in 30 min early but room was not ready. We were told room would be ready @ 3. Returned @ 3:30 and room was still not ready.

Game Day in College Station. It is obvious that you would need at least two people checking people into the hotel. Had to wait in line 4ever because 1 person checking people in.

Check-In time was at 3:00, so everyone showed up at that time. Only one person was manning the counter, so the line was to the door. I was told the room may not be clean, but could check-in anyways. The room 'looked' clean so we went in. After a long evening we decided to call it a night. Our daughter was refusing to sleep in her pack and play, so my […] husband graciously offered to sleep in the other bed. Let's just say that we don't think the sheets were replaced from the previous night. We were too tired to deal with it, so we all crammed in one bed. Even though those sheets probably weren't clean either. We were extremely tired at this point, so we decided to ride it out. My husband took a picture of what he discovered and showed it to the clerk as he returned the key. We had prepaid for the room, so there was little that should could do since the manager wasn't there. We're still waiting for a call. we stayed on a Aggie football weekend!! the price seemed a little high, but the room & the service was great!! would stay agsin, but only if the price was lower!!

Hotel was old. Breakfast was not great. But, for the price, I got what I expected.

Not terrible but not great. Inexpensive, and comfortable. Only real peeve was the lack of convenience products, like one shampoo/conditioner packet that was not replaced after the first night.
