Hotel Montebello - มอนเตคาทินีเตอร์เม

We travelled as a family with two young teenage children travelling through Europe. We were just expecting a bog-standard hotel to rest in but were very pleasantly surprised at the swish reception, very friendly english-speaking receptionists and the coolness of the air-con on a hot day! There is a small elevator which is lovely instead of lugging […] heavy cases up the stairs and were taken to our beautifully clean and tastefully decorated rooms. I had trouble getting internet connection upstairs and so usually had to go to the reception. Each time some member of the hotel staff politely asked if I was having trouble and went off to try to rectify the situation to the best of their abilities which I really appreciated as it showed they genuinely cared (well done!) The surrounding area is wonderful, beautiful Italy at it's best. Just writing and recalling makes me want to book up again. It is a lovely walk to the town which has a gorgeous array of shops selling home-made ice creams, pizzas etc. I can't wait to return ! อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Enjoyed the town, and we could easily walk everywhere from the hotel. Free wi-fi, cheap parking, good A/C, and a wonderful breakfast were all included in the price.

After checking in, we were walked next door to another hotel where the rooms were not the same modern ones advertised. We had two rooms between four of us, one of which had broken air conditioning, both had tired bed springs and were generally a bit dated. Apart from the rooms the service and the breakfast provided were good.

A very good hotel with staff which were 1st class. I would not hestate in going back for a further visit.

Nothing but superlatives for this hotel. It is starkly contemporary, clean, and the staff did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The city is between Florence and Lucca, so a little distant from each one, but both are easy to reach by train or by car. The city itself is beautiful - also very contemporary. I stayed at this hotel because it was a low cost one. When travelling the way I do, it makes no sense to pay for an fancy room when all I really need is a bed to sleep in overnight. By the time I had arrived at this hotel, my vacation had been very crappy and when I mentioned it to the staff, they did make an effort to assist me with anything I needed. […] It made a difference, if even a small one. Be warned, this town is crowded with tourists all the time as it is a major staging area for the surrounding areas. That does mean that things generally stay open a bit later than usual for Italy because of the number of tourists that arrive all evening long. We loved this hotel. Marco wasa great helps with spa and helped with our Italian. Anna who works in the kitchen was great. They food was wonderful as good as any 5 star hotels. They had internet service so I could read my emails from work. we are planning to stay here next May 2011. Thank you to everyone in the hotel

The hotel was not bad, it was a small room for four people. The staff was very friendly and gave us recommendations on what we should see. The dinner was just an experience, a three course meal. Stayed 3 days. 35 degrees outside but adjustable air con very good so slept well in good beds. Staff uncommonly helpful especially Marco (owner's son) who arranged onward travel to Treviso Airport. English speaking waitress explained evening menu to us and food was really good at a moderate price. Très bel hôtel, pas très loin à pied de la gare centrale. Personnel très gentil parlant l'anglais. Bon déjeûner, pas très copieux mais quand même bon. Nous avons aimé y séjourner. La chambre est très propre et nous avons eu un service impeccable.

Dejligt hotel, midt i Montecatini, med kort afstand til det meste. Fin service, men vi savnede lige en balkon, og en svimmimgpool havde gjort det helt perfekt. Olesen, Aalborg

My girlfriend and I where pleased with our stay at Montebello. We didn't visit Moncatini Terme for the spas etc, we visited because of the location in the middle between Florence and Lucca and the short trip to the trains. We really enjoyed the brilliant service provided by the staff (directions, tickets etc). Everyone also spoke English which is not usual in Tuscany but VERY helpful for us. The only negative was the size of the rooms, but this didn't matter much because we only slept there. This is one of the better hotels we visited on our trip in Tuscany. Hotel Montebello, er et familiedrevet hotel. Det er grunden til at servicen er uovertruffen, og meget personlig. Der er en meget behagelig atmosfære. Vi fik en udsøgt behandling. Situación adecuada para poder visitar Florencia y la Toscana en general. Buena relación calidad precio. Habitaciones sin lujos pero amplias y limpias. Destaca el trato amabilísimo del personal de servicio, que te hace sentir como si estuvieras en tu casa. Lo recomiendo para todo el que quiera estar en un lugar tranquilo y agradable

L'hotel ha un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Il personale è stato gentilissimo all'accoglienza e nel fornire indicazioni logistiche. La camera era ordinata e pulita come anche il bagno. La colazione a buffet era abbondante. Ottimo hotel, se ritornassi in zona vi soggiornerei nuovamente.

Meget hjælpsomt og venligt personale, som talte perfekt engelsk. Aflåst parkereingsplads lige ved hotellet. Rolige omgivelser og alligevel ganske centralt. Tæt på jernbanen med gode forbindelser til bl.a. Pisa og Firenze. Lokalt spisested på samme gade kan anbefales, rigeligt med mad og hyggelig atmosfære.

Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die Brausekabine war leider etwas klein. Wir hatten ein Dreibettzimmer, leider war das Zusatzbett für Erwachsenen nicht besonders geeignet.

Situation agréable : calme et arborée. Parking spacieux et à côté de l'hôtel. Hôtel de style familial, clair et lumineux avec un petit patio très agréable pour le petit déjeûner ; aménagement intérieur soigné, décoré avec goût. vriendelijk personeel en niets was te veel. Goede ligging om de stad te bezoeken, Lucca en Firenze. Maaltijden waren heel gewoon,zou niet direct half pension aanraden.

Stayed for one week in a 4 bed family room. Room is a little small for 4 people, but we managed well with the space we had. Hotel is very well maintained. Rooms, bathrooms and service areas in excellent condition. Location is great, just one block off the rather busy main street (at least during summer), and facing a small park. Large parking space […] at disposal, locked and secured during night time but always at disposal. Service was excellent throughout the stay, very friendly and helpful. Except for some of the night guards, knowledge of English was very good, and that is not always the case in Italy :-) Breakfast is ok, we did not try the restaurant for dinner, as you must book in advance. Dit hotel is een echte aanrader voor wie Toscane wil verkennen. Alle belangrijke steden liggen in de buurt en met een goede gps op zak is het leuk de locale wegen te verkennen. Het personeel van het hotel is enorm behulpzaam en niets is teveel gevraagd. Ontbijt op z'n Italiaans, broodjes, beleg, wat vers fruit en verschillende soorten cake. 1 x hebben […] we gebruik gemaakt van het avondeten omdat we meestal op stedenbezoek waren en dit was ook goed. Qua verhouding prijs/kwaliteit heb ik tot op heden nog geen beter hotel gehad ! Enige opmerking als het al echt een opmerking te noemen is, de douche was wat aan de kleine kant, maar volgens mij is dit normaal in Italïe. Vorig hotel dat ik bezocht heb, had dit ook. Très bon accueil, hotel neuf, propre et calme, chambre avec grand balcon et salle de bains toute neuve et propre, petit déjeuner complet (possibilité en terrasse!!!)!!! Bref super séjour!!! Petit conseil : pour vous rendre à Florence prenez le train : pas cher, toutes les 1/2 H et la gare de Florence est en plein centre ville!!!

Room very clean. Staff extremely friendly and always one person who spoke perfect english so communication no problem at all. Helpfull and guiding at any request. Locked parking area. Hotel situated in quiet neibourghood close to trainstation, highway entry and citycenter... Can highly recommed hotel and staff....

Det var et fantastisk hotel vi denne gang havde valgt. Servicen var mere end tilfredsstillende. Alle var hjælpsomme, og vi blev holdt om og holdt af i de 13 dage vi boede der. Hotellet beliggenhed i Toscana er supergodt, når man skal vi store dele af området. Meget tæt på jernbanen, som er præcis og billig i Italien. Er at anbefale, når man skal se […] Firenze, Lucca, Pisa og alle de andre vidunderlige steder. Hotellet er rent, servicen og hjælpen er meget tilfredsstillende. Alle hjælper så du kan få et godt ophold. Vi mødte ikke en eneste sur person i den tid vi boede der. Fint hotel for en overnatning hvis man er på vej igennem italien eller som mellemstop på en længere tur. Nemt at finde og venligt personale. Taler ikke meget engelsk men man kan gøre sig forståelig med få gloser på italiensk. Har egen indhegnet parkering.

The hotel provides free rental bicycle, it is a very nice to enjoy cycling in the beautiful town Montecatini Terme. Try to climb up to Old Town, located on the top of mountain in the north of downtown. Room is clean and comfortable, food is ordinal but enjoyable everyday, except a less of vegetables at the breakfast. Totally comfort and good hotel.
