It was bad--we walked into a war zone! The inn was being remodeled except for the one wing we stayed in. When we checked in it was through a "lobby" with plastic sheets for walls. After we checked in and actually got to our room there was no water. Returning to the office to say it was unacceptable--they told me to call Travelodge--who informed me that […] the hotel was no longer one of their properties. The hotel was under a lot of renovations during our stay. There were many empty rooms left open and furnishings in disarray. There were pallets of construction materials in the parking lot that were open and unorganized. It is no 4 Seasons, but it was clean, staff was helpful and place was convenient. Place looks like it was renovated, nice job. Just comfy, clean, nothing fance but didn't need fancy. Continental breakfast was just fine. Not overflowing, nothing wasteful, but complimentary - simple good choices.

From the service - a man who barely can speak english and is rude - to the condition of the hotel, this was the worst hotel experience we have ever had. I could write more, but hopefully that explains it all!

When i arrived a young fella working there showed me a parking place closest to my rooom. The manager came over while i was unloading my truck to see how my room was. I spent the week hunting & the hotel was perfectly situated .it was nice to come back at night to a clean room & a hot shower

Nice stay near the Berkshires, adjacent to popular shopping stores and places to eat.

If you don't mind a cheap hotel with badly fitting sheets, few creature comforts and poorly maintained facilities then this is the place for you.

Do not even think of going there! We were promised that all rooms had been renovated, only a minority has been, to date. What we got was an overpriced, dirty dump, the mattresses were stained and torn, the bed sheets were too small and did not fit, the carpets were stained as were the chairs. Yea, this was the least expensive hotel and that is exactly what I got. I had to buy bleach and airfreshner and had to clean the ENTIRE room myself! It was not good and I would NOT suggest ANYONE staying at this place. It was REAL BAD.

While the man at the desk was pleasant enough we almost thought the hotel was closed down by the site of it. He advised that they're in the process of updating the long since its past due stamp hotel. Regardless I couldn't in any good faith recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel was completely run down and should be torn down and rebuilt. Barely anything worked in the room including the lights and TV. I will never stay here again.

Pretty sweet... everything was in order and reasonably priced. Glad to be able to find smoking-accessible lodging these days.

This hotel was in a well travel spot. Easy in and out and out of the tourist traps .This had well light parking lot and easy excise to all rooms. I would give this Hotel 4 stars!

We checked in and went to our room to discover the drain in the sink and the shower didn't work. They moved us to another room with a bathroom so dirty we couldn't use it. The toilet wasn't clean, and the shower was disgusting (the mat in the shower was particularly filthy). We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The check in was easy, quick and the person was helpful and friendly. Our room was very clean and quiet. This was a good place to stay and we will definately stay again.

Great hotel not in the Tourist traps . Was close to everything with out being to expense . The Hotel was very clean and close to all kinds of Restaurant !

I had a great experience, hotel was great, price was right.

Scary pulling into the parking lot (overgrown, weeds, abandoned restaurant boarded up...). Then lost power in the night and NO ONE available at the desk or the number posted - front desk area completely abandoned for several hours... so we (...actually on I had the courage) showered in the dark and got out of Dodge.

This hotel is what you'd expect to have in this area. It's nothing special, and also nothing terrible. It's standard, and basic. No real problems.

Time to replace some of the towels and face cloths. Face cloths were very thin and stained.

The room was not clean and smelled bad. The boxspring was stained on the side. The hotel looked abandant from across the street. The man at the front desk was nice and gave us good advance for local entertainment.

To be able to get a rate this low IN SEASON in the Berkshires is nice. Just don't expect the lap of luxury, or even comfort. ADEQUATE describes it fine, presuming you intend to be on the go, not spending much time at the property.

This hotel is Ok for the money. The first time we stayed we didn't get our wake up call. The 2nd time we stayed we noticed that the toilet seat was smaller than the toilet. Other than that, it was OK It was close to several places to eat and shop - very convenient.

We stayed here for one night after a concert at Tanglewood, and it was fine for the price. The night manager was very helpful to us when we wanted to change our room from smoking to a non-smoking room. The check-in area serves coffee and breakfast items in the morning.

Mildew on the ceiliing, filthy floors and walls. Clearly there is no pride taken at all in maintainence of this place. Disgusting fits the condition it is in. We did not actually see any rats, but my guess is that it was beneath their standards. Go elsewhere, this is not even up to developing country standards and they charged a huge fee.

This hotel looked a bit dated and run down from the outside, but the room was clean, with a marble bathroom. great shower. As I spent 2 weeks there I especially appreciated the refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker in the room. At approximately half the cost of the hotel I had previously stayed at in North Adams, it was a great deal.

The outside of the hotel looks ragged. The room was recently remodeled and was a pleasant surprise. The on-sit manager at the time tried to play off that I had reserved a queen size room and he was upgrading me for free out of the kindness of his heart. This was until I produced my email reservation for a king size room. having to pay for a continental […] breakfast with no tables or chairs in the room the size of a closet should be fixed according to the manager at a later date. If your looking for a cheap room and clean this place is okay. Quick trip to the mall or allendale makes it a good spot. once you get past the exterior of the motel and the rooms are fairly nice. We were in the new wing. Corner room with two windows. Nice. The only issues are the curtains billowed when the fan was on and the toilet seat wouldn't stay up because the counter top was too far over the toilet. Overall construction of the new wing was a bit shoddy but acceptable.

On the way to the room we passed a number of people who were not staying at the hotel but were hanging around. A party which spilled outside one of the rooms finally ended at 2am after a guest complained to the office. She was verbally abused when asked to turn the music down. Our children were terrified and we would have left that night if we had somewhere […] else to go. I notice that someone else has reported parties in this hotel before. GREAT DEAL FOR THE PRICE. FRIENDLY OWNERS.

Our stay was pleasant. The Pittsfield Travelodge is a bit run down but pleasant enough if all you are looking for is a place to sleep at a reasonable price and one that is not too far from some of the attractions of the surrounding area. The room was of very average quality --not much in the way of amenities, but pretty comfortable none the less. The […] people working at and operating the motel were nice and responded positively to any requests we made. Went there during Tanglewood on a Saturday night and paid about double what we would expect for this type of hotel. The room was OK and clean.

Not at all a great stay, by any means. The non-smoking room smelled as if it had formerly been designated for smokers, and was converted through the use of multiple chemical substances to get rid of the cigarette odor. The resulting smell was unpleasant, and the windows in the room didn't open, so airing it out was difficult. One broken bureau drawer. […] One dead roach on the air conditioner. This hotel was right by the busy street. We were lucky that our room was other side from the street. Wireless internet connection was 'provided'. But too weak to use. Front desk advised to bring laptop to office where connection was stronger. So in reality, wireless was NOT available at room. We were the only guest on the day, on a week day a week […] before July 4th, until a truck driver checked in later at night. Room was nice, but shortly after arriving our commode overflowed. My husband tried the plunger in our room, but it did not help. I soaked up as much water as possible with available towels. We called the desk and they sent a young man with a larger plunger. It unstopped the commode, but NOTHING was mopped or sanitized. We left for an event in the evening, […] hoping something would have been done while we were gone, but when we returned the floor was still wet and wet towels were in the floor. Clean towels were brought for our use, but we felt the bathroom was very unsanitary for the rest of the night and next morning.
