It was great. Beautiful beach, view, walks.

I live in the area and was in need of some alone time. Figured a weekend on the beach would be a nice stress reliever. Never heard of the resort, but the price was good so i figured what the hell. I didnt see any resort fees or parking fees like the other hotels on the beach so i was already happy. I was very happy with this place. The front desk lady […] had me in my room within 5 mins. it was really quick, The view was wonderful. Very clean. We spent a week at the Surf Beach Resort Condo/Hotel and had a great experience. The suit was up to date, well equipped and clean. The pool and hot tub were also clean and well cared for. A wonderful place to spend a relaxing time at a great beach!

This was perfect for what we needed. Rooms are very up to date and beds including sofa bed are VERY comfortable. Staff is friendly and accomodating. Had a great stay.

Enjoyed our stay! Super price! Excellent location!

We realy enjoyed our stay at this Hotel/Condo People were nice and everything was wonderful. Definatley going to stay here again!!

Stayed here many times. Never dissapointed, but was given a handicap accessible unit with the 2nd bath extremely small. Would definitely not stay in this unit again if given the choice. Overall gret visit though

My family of 6 (2 adults, 4 kids-- 10, 13, & 14 yr old twins) stayed here for just one night, but it worked out extremely well. The sleeping arrangements (2 queens, and fold out couch) were fine and it was nice to have the full kitchen & an in room washer/ dryer. The deck off the master was very nice---we were on the 5th floor and the view was great--overall […] a very well kept up property right on beach. We enjoyed our stay . Room was clean, plenty of towels, and comfortable beds. The kitchen came equipted for us with everything we needed. We found books to read and DVD's tucked away in drawers which I have not seen done before. In one of the closets were 2 beach chairs to carry down & use on the beach. to much noise ,the rooms where to close to the pool, which was more noise . we could hear the commodes flush from the room above us.

The condo rental was just wonderful. We had the best views as it overlooked the beach and Gulf. It was big enough for us and our 3 granddaughters, yet small enough to maintain easily. We saved money by buying groceries in the local Publix. We were able to wash our towels and personal laundry during our stay which was a big convenience for us. We also […] loved the convenience of the condo to nearby tourist areas and the flawless beach was great for building sand castles and the Gulf waters were as warm as bath water for swimming. Though it is a walk to the beach, it was a pleasant one. Oour granddaughters helped carry all the beach toys and blankets. The beach was in excellent condition and well maintained . After our trips to the beach, we rinsed off in the very convenient showers located outside the pool area and were able to go swimming in the pool before heading back to our room. We loved the sunsets also. In close proximity, are great restaurants. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful in the building. We hope to stay at this location again in the near future. We made memories we will cherish forever with a smile on our faces. Anita, the office manager was awesome. We got there late on a sunday and she drove in from home to check us in. The hotel was clean and one of the nicest on the beach. The only downside was the mattress on the pull out couch was old but the officer manager assured us new furniture was being put into all units shortly. We had a great stay - just wish it could have been longer!!!! We have stayed in several places on Treasure Island over the years, but this is one of our favorites. Parking is a little tight if you have a large vehicle, but there are also great restaurants and a Publix in walking distance. This is a condo unit, not a hotel - so don't expect maid service everyday or for anyone to be in the office after 5. This "resort" is really just a converted Condo without too many amenities. There is no room service, workout room or any other amenities you would expect at a resort. If your just looking for a clean comfortable room right on the most amazing beach, then this is great. If your looking for a more traditional hotel or resort, keep looking. This is really a condo. Everything was fine - the only things I can find to pick on are the murky pool and noise transmission from other guests. Otherwise it was very comfortable and clean and the manager was very nice.

We stayed at the Surf Beach following visits to Miami and Orlando and have to say that the Surf Beach was the best of the lot. A fabulous location right on a magnificent beach with wonderful sunsets. The condo was immaculately clean with the best mattresses of our whole trip! We stayed in apt 306 and the owners had taken great care with funishings and […] equipment. The large balcony was roomy enough for the five of us to enjoy the views. The pool, spa and bbq areas were all well cared for and beach chairs were available to take to the beach. Only minor blip was to arrive and find reception had closed at 4pm on Sunday and a phone call was needed to gain entry. This was not a problem for us but not all foreign travellers have a mobile phone that works in the U.S. Think visitors should be advised beforehand. Its not the cheapest room in town, but it is worth a little extra money. We had a great stay, our only disappointment was that we did not stay long enough. Great location, nice room, awesome sunsets from your balcony!

Great place with beautiful views of the beach....not too big or noisy....not too many other units so it was just an intimate setting to relax. Convenient to shopping, etc. We were just content to wander around doing some sightseeing, walking on the beach and looking forward to the beautiful sunsets each evening.

Beautiful location right on the Gulf plus a beautiful pool and jacuzzi. Great sun deck. Walking path to restaurants and shopping. Nice clientele. Fun to sit on the deck and watch the sunsets. Also, the greater St. Pete/Tampa area offers lots to see and do for sightseing and culture and other activities.

The condo was nice and clean but the bedrooms are on the small side. There is no daily maid service, but for a mid price unit it was nice. It was also nice to have coffee available in the unit during the first morning. We asked an had coffee supplies delivered to our unit for the second morning. There is a Publix grocery store 3 blocks away and a McDonalds […] only a block away. The heated pool and the jacuzzi was a plus. I would hate to stay there during spring break due to noise issues. There was no front desk personnel after 5 p.m. The noise coming from Gulf Blvd can be a little on the noisy side. Make sure you watch the sunsets from the balcony. They were beautiful. We arrived after the office had closed but had no problem finding the key box and was in our room in minutes. Was traveling with 3 other ladies for a much needed girls vacation. The condo was prefect for our needs. I think the only thing we would have liked was some warmer weather. The view of the ocean was wonderful and the location to all the local resturants and bars was within walking distance. What a great find! Treated my boyfriend for his birthday with a weekend here. Helpful staff, very clean condo, beautiful view from the balcony (LR and Master BR) and it's in an ideal location: just across the street from The Middle Grounds restaurant. (And The Pearl is another great restaurant very close by.) Although the condos are conveniently equipped […] with full kitchens, breakfast at Foxy's and lunch at Sloppy Joe's is a must. All within walking distance. Nice shopping and waverunner rentals are nearby as well. Nice pool and well-maintained grounds, too. Our family had a great time with our stay in the area and this property was wonderful. There was a full kitchen, washer & dryer, swimming pool, beach, etc... The view from the balcony was amazing. We rented a boat right across the street for a few hours as well as a Wave Runner down the street. If you have kids, there is a Mcdonalds pretty much right […] across the street. The grocery store is in walking distance to fill up and use that kitchen. Our kids were probably a bit loud and this didn't seem to mind other people. What a disappointment. Look at google maps, the hotel is far from the sea. The beach is such a long walk, really exhausting. Swimming pool close to parking spaces is also disappointing due to its size. Less than 10meters long... On top of that, reception desk closes very early and closed on Sunday. We left without any checkout, leaving the keys in a […] boxe. Last but not least, the elevator is an oven - we couldn't breath - and if you go to the top floor, you are cooked... We were surprised at how much of a value this was. It is a lovely condo/suite with an ocean view, full kitchen. 2 br/2 ba, washer/dryer and beautifully decorated. The grounds and pool area were well maintained. We will definitely return.

Perfect spot for our 25th anniversary stay. We enjoyed it very much. For the price, you really can't ask for more. Great location, Would definately stay again.

The room was just like being at home with the exception of having the beach right outside the door. I really didn't want to leave. We had a wonderful week end at the Surf Beach Hotel. The after hours check in procedure was easy, the room was lovely with a beautiful view of the beach from the balcony, the room was clean and tastefully decorated.

Although there was no housekeeping services provided during our stay, we found the 2-bedroom 2-bath condo comfortable, clean and within easy access to shopping. Having the beach right outside the door and a balcony facing the beach was great. The staff were great and even printed our boarding passes for us upon departure.
