ok, bed mattress needed to be replaced

Just stayed overnight for a wedding in the area. It was very clean, and nice setup. There was a kitchenette with stovetop and mini fridge which was very convenient. Would definitely stay there again!

Chick in was fine but my bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned, there's no bolt on the inside of the door, the bed was exceptionally squeaky and on lamp did not work. Also, no vent in the bathroom and very low water pressure. Would spend a few dollars more and upgrade.

No daily cleaning. No clock in room and no wake up service available. Coffee only provided on the first day.

Took forever to get hot water Stayed 2 nights no housekeeping for second night. Was told they only clean rooms when you check out. Not enough towels. Rooms not carpeted. Never answer phone you have to go there (teceptionist) physically.

This was our first xmas getaway ....it was lots of fun. The room was clean, very comfortable as we were going to be there for 4days. The staff there were very nice. Had nice fluffy towels and the area outside was clean.We will go back to stay anytime without a question......

No-one there when we arrived - had sent emails but never received a reply. When we did ring owner was told room was open and keys in the room - not very secure! Understand new owners have been there for a year only and although room was comfortable the floor was filthy.

I was surprised when we entered the room. the smell was of cleanliness and the room was very clean. it had a full small kitchen with small fridge, and the bathroom was small but served it's purpose. The room was of good size and had a great chair to sit and prop your feet on. The service in the office was great and though there was a few 'minor' problems […] like a door knob needing tightened, they promptly tended to everything no time. At check out, the office was closed, but had the phone number posted saying the manage was on the grounds, and I called and they told me to leave the key in the room. they do charge an extra $10.00 resort fee that where you book, may not charge upfront. After paying the Hotel.com price and receiving a conformation that I had paid in full I still had to pay an additionalc$10.00 resort fee. They have to be kidding as this is no resort. Complete ripoff. If I had any other choice I would have cancelled. I had to screw bulbs in to turn on lamps. This is no resort !

We had a great stay at the Bayside Inn and I would recommend it to anyone! Great location, beautiful, clean rooms. I would gladly make a reservation to stay again! The manager, Aaron was very friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!!!

Excellent. The staff was wonderful in suggesting places to eat and visit. Outstanding, excellent, etc. ENOUGH SAID!

I loved this hotel as it was like old Florida. Rooms were all updated which was great. The hotel layout allowed for mingling among all of us which came together. We could sit on the upper deck & cook out or sit out back by the water. There was lots of places to group together which was great for all of us who came together. The only thing hotel was […] lacking was refrigeratiors large enough for the suites and dishes, pans to accomodate guests. Very cute place. Beware that they don't come in and replace towels and the floor in the room was dirty, otherwise it was a great place for a weekend.

This hotel is on a great location, the staff was nice.

1 BR w/ King Bed Unit was pleasant. LCD tv, microwave, kitchenette, clean sheets, A/C worked great. Grounds are kept clean. Small pool in the front but it fit the property. Staff was friendly. Would stay there again.

Hotel rooms were nice but the walls are very thin and I could hear everthing going on next door at 2 AM. It wasn't G rated either

The location was convenient, with public access to beach across the street and a canal behind the hotel. We booked this hotel because it allowed pets, which resulted in an additional fee -- reasonable though unexpected. The room (bed, small bath, kitchenette) were clean, but the floor was dirty. We asked for it to be cleaned and the management sent […] someone to 'Swiffer', which didn't quite get it. We had to personally exchange towells and the room was not cleaned daily. This was not explained to us during check-in. The man next door talked on his cell and opened every drawer and door in the room about 10 times -- from about 12:30am until 5:00am, and with thin walls it was difficult to sleep. If you are looking for a comfortable hotel, look elsewhere. The Bayside Inn and Marina is one of the most disappointing properties I've ever stayed in. The rooms are little more than prison cells with a queen size bed, the views are limited to watching people walk past your window, the bathrooms are almost too small to turn around in and dated from […] the 1960's. There is a complete lack of services of any kind. No room cleaning (unless demanded in my case), no linen service, no towel replacement (I was instructed to bring towels to the office if I wanted fresh ones) and don't look for a continental breakfast......walk to the Waffle House down the street. The office is open infrequently and the attendant is less than helpful. It's as close to a Single Room Occupancy Hotel I've ever had the misfortune to stay in. The hotel was much better than what we were expecting. The room was nice sized, the kitchen was equipped and clean and the bathroom (although a bit outdated) was spotless. The whole reason we picked this hotel was for the marina so getting a great room was a surprised bonus! The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. We needed just a place to sleep as we were visiting relatives in the area who didn't have enough beds! We wish we had had time to use the pool and water/beach access. The bathroom was a little small and our mattress needed to be turned (or maybe replaced), but otherwise we found the room to be comfortable and adequately appointed. The hotel was awesome. If your not lazy, you can walk to many nearby attractions.

I would recommend ths hotel for anybody looking to stay right next to the water in Treasure Island,FL. The staff was very friendly and the rates were very resonable when booking online. I would definetly stay at this hotel again!

I would not recommend this hotel to others. The initial appearance was satisfactory, as was the room. However, once entering and examining the room areas, several disappointments quickly arose. To begin, the bathtub drain had evidently been left plugged and the water had dripped so that the tub was half full of water. The shower curtain was also dirty. […] Next, the refridgerator had no ice due to the fact it had not been maintained properly and when we pulled out the freezer try, water spiltled all over the floor. When we asked for ice, were told that the ice machine was out of order. Although there was a coffeemaker, there was no coffee or condiments (had to go to office to ask for these). The manager did apologize for all of our inconveniences, however, there was no mention of any type of compensation. I almost didn't book a room at this hotel, because of the other reviews. This is not a full service hotel, and I'm not sure what others were expecting when they arrived. I had very low expectations, due to a preconcieved idea, and was very pleasantly surprised. I was greeted by a very nice gentleman, Tony, who is the owner of the property. He wasn't […] fully booked and gave me the choice of two rooms, one king or 2 doubles. He was very accommodating and the rooms were well decorated. My only complaint would be that it took about 20 minutes for the water to get hot. This must be an older building with older plumbing. Está muy bien ubicado y cuenta con los artefactos necesarios - nevera, microondas, cocina, vajilla y cubiertos. Podrían renovar un poco los baños pero están limpios y en funcionamiento. Las habitaciones son buenas. La atención es muy limitada pues no siempre hay gente en la oficina, aunque se supone que uno mismo se ocupa de la limpieza. Tiene buen […] estacionamiento.
