While not cheap, this is an affordable FOR BOSTON option if you want a higher-end facility. Convenient with respect to getting to and from UMASS Boston. Excellent service and well maintained facilities. Good internet connection and free local calls were convenient amenities. Only sorry that I could not get Marriott Points because I booked through hotels.com

Comfortable, clean hotel close to Andrew station. Staff was always courteous and helpful... They always went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The shuttle once came and picked a group of us up from the convention center at 1am one night, for free. Airport shuttle is $5/person, and took less than 15 minutes to get us to the airport. This hotel is within walking distance of some great shopping and dining. The hotel itself was clean and friendly. Although they do not have room service, if your looking for food or places that deliver, the front desk will gladly help you with finding local restaurant that delivers.

Room was a little dusty but clean. A short walk from the T station was convenient and the roads were well lit. It was quite safe walking alone to the hotel at night. Convenient shuttle service to the convention center was a bonus.

the hotel is very much accessiable. For out of town travellers it will help quiet a bit if there are signs on the highway Telling the hotel is one mile away, 1/2 mile away keep in the right lane. This hotel was a nice stay at a great price. The staff was very nice and gladly brought anything we needed up to our room within minutes of calling. You do sacrifice a few things for the price though. You are not within walking distance of the town so you either need to drive and pay a sometimes ridiculous amount of money to park in a garage or you […] can take the "T" which I believe is the local train into town (not sure on ticket prices). Regardless, that did not bother me. I at least had options to get into the city if I needed. The neighborhood on the other side of the hotel located behind the shopping center was VERY SKETCHY. We went to visit Boston College and and the GPS took us through some really rough areas within walking distance of the hotels. I must say I had no issues and the hotel seems to be fenced off from the area well. One of the biggest perks for us was that parking was free at this hotel. Many hotels we looked into charged a daily fee to park on top of what you are paying per night. This hotel does not do that. Recommended stay if you're in the South Boston area. The staff were very friendly, the room and the hotel itself was gorgeous, very easy access to Andrews red line T Station and easily accessible from the highway

Very nice hotel with very friendly empoyees. The only problem I had was trying to get to it, growing up in the area but being away for some time made it a little tuff to get to but once there everything was very nice.

This hotel was close to two nice restaurants and a strip mall. All within walking distance.

Very nice hotel!! The front desk was very helpful and accommodating and even allowed me to check in 30 minutes early. They were very helpful with directions as well. Recently stayed here for a girls weekend in the city and conference. I was amazed at the prices in the city so this was a nicer option (more than I would normally pay for a courtyard marriott but way better than $300+/night in the city). Everything was as pictured, was updated and clean. Only improvement in the room could have been a mirror outside […] the bathroom but the shower was great! Front desk staff were not overly friendly but polite. Had our breakfast not come included with the room price I would not have paid the $12+ per person that is normally charged. It was a simple breakfast that most hotels offer for free. Others have mentioned about not feeling safe while walking to the T; we walked several times and had no problems. The hotel can be a bit tricky to find when driving however. Located just behind a large shopping complex with an Olive Garden, Panera, Applebees, and grocery store which was convenient. This hotel wasn't bad. It needs updating. Chairs and sofas dirty and old looking. Overall not a bad stay.

Need additional staff in the front desk to attend to customers.

The staff were very friendly, and the service was good. We were visiting the sights Boston had to offer, and this hotel was situated just mins away which was just right when traveling kids. The best part, there was no charge for parking. We would stay again when visiting Boston.

Great hotel and staff, but very bad signage. Almost impossible to identify from the bad approach. We had to pull up and go to the lobby before knowing we were at the correct place.

The staff could have been alittle more explicit with disseminating information, eg shuttle service information was not clear, until after asking questions. There was no continental breakfast, for the price paid. There was a problem with the sink in the bathroom.Front desk staff left the phone to ring when call was coming from outside. Our view was much to be desired because we just looked out onto the round air vents or whatever they were on the roof of the hotel. It was close to the subway and made it easy to get to other places in the city. We stayed for 3 nights during April vacation. The location of the hotel was a little out of the way, but a short (5-7 min) walk to the T, so ok other than having to drag our luggage on the walk when getting there and leaving. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, other than the fact that we found a shirt under the chair in the corner […] when we checked in. Kinda weird, but everything else seemed clean. The heater/air conditioner leaked at night, so there was a wet place in the carpet by the window. The room was nice but it had the smell of tobacco smoke when I entered the room. It was suppose to be non-smoking and I didn't see any evidence of tobacco products. the sink wouldn't hold water. I was impressed by the room. It was spacious and clean. A little disappointed that I had to agree to terms in order to use the internet. We checked in early with no hassle and found our room very clean and comfortable. We used the shuttle service to the airport by purchasing two shuttle tickets. No additional or "hidden charges".

Very clean and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. Beds were SOOO comfortable, I couldn't get over it. Close to the subway so easy access to everywhere in Boston. Would definitely stay there again.

The room was very clean and modern. The lobby area was large and comfortable. It was great for visitng with friends. The staff was friendly and helpful. Although the hotel had a lot of guests our stay was peaceful and quiet. The hotel was not well marked and we found it difficult to locate.

The staff were helpful and friendly during my stay. One thing that was not so impressive was the breakdown of the lifts for the whole 3 days of my stay, luckily I was at the 2nd level, don't know how the other guests might feel staying upstairs. The Courtyard Marriot south is a great hotel . close to Boston and the MBTA red line . It is a 5-10 minute walk to the Andrew square station. The hotel provides a shuttle to Andrew sq. every 30 minutes. It took us 8 minutes to get fron downtown crossing to andrew sq. and 7 minutes to walk to the hotel. There is a shopping center behind the hotel. not […] someplace that you want to be after dark. The staff was great. They were very helpful and did a lot more than I expected. Highly recommend hotel because its great service!!

Airport shuttle did not stop for me, drink machines ate my money, maid service did not come until very late in the afternoon. BUT, the front desk staff was great, apologized, and even offered me free drinks.
