Overall, it's a good hotel with a very nice pool. The house keeping staff are very friendly and nice. However, the front desk ignored my request at night and when I asked again the next day, the receptionist simply said she didn't know who was taking my call the previous night. Wonderful professional service. Hotel is centrally located to all the sights and ajacent to the Millinium Gallery. I highly recommend.

lovely view needs a new carpet , kettle and table light. Take your swimming gear as you can go into the leisure complex. A pleasant stay but CHANGE THAT CARPET !!!!!

A superb hotel which proved to be good value for money in the centre of Sheffield. Excellent service and a very good breakfast.

When I arrived at the hotel it was raining and we were very wet so we needed to go to our room to dry off as it happened the floor our room was on seemed to have conference facilities just as the lift door opened staff where there taking chairs through using very foul four letter words to each other which I found offensive.

Hotel is in a lovely location and the staff are friendly and professional the only down side was how uncomfortable the bed was, this was the second time i stayed and i was hoping the first time was just bad look but i got a different room on a different floor and couldnt sleep all night, i got bad siatica after my stay there so unless the beds change […] i wont be going back there, which is a shame because everything else was perfect. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Great facilities, lovely food, great service and perfect location. Highly recommended.

I was dissapointed that the hotel refused to heat up an airline type meal for me which I wanted for dietry requirements. This was refused citing health and safety. When I have stayed at other major chains such as the Marriott or the Hilton this has always been done with a smile. I would therefore avoid Mercure if this is of concern to you.

Lovely hotel with good pool and spa facilities, the room was very large and comfortable and we had a great stay over New Years. The champagne bar was a good place to start and end the evening! I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Sheffield and it's city centre location makes it convenient to get about.

Excellent location the only downside is the lack of parking. Expensive but secure parking available nearby. Didn't use the restaurant as there are many bar/restaurants nearby. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.

An above average hotel in a fantastic location right in the heart of everything.The hotel is well presented and the rooms are large and spacious. Reception is very good and it is hard to beat this hotel.The one drawback i would say however is that it is somewhat expensive per night for what it is.

Very conveniently located in city centre, adjacent to the Peace Gardens, shopping area, restaurants and station. Appreciated the pool for exercise and relaxation. Room was spacious and comfortable. Didn't eat at hotel.

It always bugs me as frequent traveler when higher end hotels rip you off for Internet access. 40£ for 50 hours of access. One of the two main elevators was broken all week that i was there.

This hotel is very convenient for the centre of Sheffield. The interior of the hotel looks dated now, and could do with refurbishment, but was fine for a short stay. There were a couple of wedding parties the weekend we stayed, and the restaurant was short staffed when we went down for breakfast on Sunday morning. We had to ask 3 times for hot milk […] with our coffee. Clearly the management were aware of the isssue, as there was a sign stuck on the mirror in the lift warning that the restaurant woyld be busy between 9.30 and 11.30 and if guests would like a quiet breakfast they should arrive before 9.30!! อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Fantastic service especially on reception, let us check in early and polite and attentive. Lovely hotel very central location, great for theatre and shopping etc.

We arrived very late at the hotel after attending a wedding, the check in was easy, our room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast the next morning was very nice. The check out was slow as everyone checked out at the same time. Unfortunately the bar staff on the evening were very rude, not only to myself but to other people staying in the hotel, […] and could do with some customer service training, especially considering the price of the hotel and drinks! Excellent central location, I was under the impression that breakfast was included within the rate at time of booking but it turns out it wasn't, this was a little disappointing. But the hotel and services are excellent, will stay again.

The hotel has a very nice architechture. I was put in very nice and clean room but as soon as I laid on the matress it was like sleeping on the bed box since the sprints were completely worn. My body was doing a U shape (no exageration) in that matress and I had a neckache as a consequence. Nobody could sleep in that matress. I asked to be moved and […] a girl came and started fighting over the phone with the girl at the reception about who should come to fix the problem since both of them had to go home soon. I had to go to the reception and ask for a solution since nobody came. I was moved to a room that stunk to tobacco and had recent drink stains in the sofas. The shower head had soap stains and the tiles had mold. Three minuscule soap sackets that need to be cut with scisorss to be opened are the shampoo. My clothes were smelly after leaving the room and remain like that in my meeting. The internet is not free, £9 for every 24 hours. The staff at the reception lack experience and all kind of information about the hotel. Do not go there if you want sleep and the only thing you want from the hotel is a relaxing time. My daughter & I were in Sheffield for a Uni Open Day. Got an excellent rate with Winter Deal. Very central & easy to find . We had a long journey so it was great to find we had such a lovely room. We had an excellent night's sleep.Breakfast was included & we both thoroughly enjoyed it.Hopefully we will be back!

Mercure St Paul is in an ideal location for visiting Sheffield. Bright and modern and quite stylish, it's right next to the city's imposing Winter Gardens. Entering our room, we discovered the electricity supply had been cut. This was remedied in about 10 minutes. Rooms are clean and decorated in a reasonably contemporary style with good quality fittings […] and a fair degree of comfort. On the down side, the uneven carpet in our room needed re-fitting and the bathroom toileteries were in such tiny packages the combined shower and hair gel wouldn't have been big enough to wash a gerbil. Our stay was outstanding. Great location, can walk from train station. In center of town. Delightful staff. We were locating past family members from Sheffield area, reception staff, especailly Georgina, went on-line to locate areas for us to visit. Arranged a taxi for us the next day. Loved the hotel and unable to fault it. It met all my requirements. The staff were very friendly and approachable, nothing too much trouble for them. Sheffield is lovely and the hotel location is excellent. Would thoroughly recommend and hope to stay there again soon. I would have expected to pay more for this hotel, it is very good value.

Really central location, modern, clean, good facilities. The only downside was the service. Whilst everyone was pleasant and helpful it was painfully slow. We waited around 15 at check in and about 20 minutes to get our car when checking out. So all in all, a good hotel but needs a lot of work operationally to live up to the promise.

Bright clean and modern. Sits between the town hall and winter gardens. Very convenient for theatres, shops and restaurants. Fantastic setting for hotel's restaurant, looking into the winter gardens.

Lovely hotel, great location, nice pool/relaxation room area. Great unlimited buffet breakfast with something for everyone. Excellent location for shops, restaurants, bars etc. Second visit and will visit again.

Overall the hotel was comfortable, and modern. But that would be expected for the price! The central location was perfect. The room was nice as was the reception and bar area. The pool was good however the housekeeping within the changing rooms and spar facitlities could have been better and the sauna and steam room were only luke warm, which sort […] of defeats the object! and will you British hotels please but a bucket for cold water in the sauna! Altough we did not have time to dine in the restaruant as we arrived back late we were dissapointed with the 24 hour room service which is quite limited. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

昼は暑いと感じる時もあるのに夜は何故寒くなるのか？毛布借りたほうが良いかも？その他では朝食が良い。駅にも歩いて行ける。テレビの付け方が難しい。金庫の扱いも問題かも？でも、英国のホテルでは優れたコストパフォーマンスのホテルです。

Schönes Hotel, gute Lage. Teppichboden ist nicht mehr schön in den Zimmern, muss erneuert werden. Kein kostenfreies Internetterminal.
