We were surprised by the size of the accommodation - two bedroom studio, two bathrooms, kitchenette dining / lounge area. Although no utensils in the kitchen except tea and coffee facilities, but then we didn't want to do any cooking. Staff were lovely, very helpful. We had a fantastic time. A little out of the way of the hub of Patong Beach, but we liked that. Great Taxi and scooter hire service just down the road. We enjoyed being close to Phuket Town. Good breakfast at the restaurant right on the beach. Overall great value for money, would stay there again.

We have a happy stay in this hotel. Staff are extremely helpful and thoughtful when we stay in hotel with injury. They try to find every ways to make us comfortable even give them a lot of extra work. Room are clean and spacious next to a beautiful beach with nice swimming pool. You can really relax and enjoy by just stay in the hotel.

This hotel has some great pros and some off-putting cons to consider, but overall for us was wonderful. First off, it is very far away from the main touristy areas such as Patong or Kata beaches. For us, this was wonderful. It meant peace and quiet. There are also some great beach front restaurants/bars nearby where one can take in the spectacular […] landscape of Chalong Bay, and the restaurant at the hotel is a really great dinner spot (though the breakfast buffet was sub par.) We were upgraded to a two bedroom suite, which was more than we needed but certainly appreciated. Our room was very clean, though a bit dated. I can't imagine being in a room near the top of the hotel, as there is an imposing walk uphill before even getting to the stairs. The staff was helpful in booking our island hopping tour (not to be missed, by the way), accommodating our very early/late airport transfers, and even packed us a to go breakfast upon departure, as we left at 5 AM. The main problem I had with this property was the beach itself. Most, if not all, of Phuket beaches are tidal, meaning they are not as accessible during low tide. The problem with Cape Panwa Beach is that the beach is only swim-able at the highest of high tides, and is a muddy/rocky mess during low tide. The beach itself is also fairly rocky and a bit on the dirty side. We didn't swim much, and were lucky that the tide was in when we wanted to be in the water, so it worked out for us. If swimming and walking down a powdery beach is what you are looking for, this is not the beach for you. But if a brisk walk while taking in the views of the bay are what you're after, this is the spot. Overall the rooms were clean but somewhat dated, the staff friendly, and the hotel does have a small number of places to eat/drink around it, even being as isolated as it is. If a quiet beach retreat with wonderful bay views is what you're looking for, I would highly recommend By The Sea. If you want a more stereotypical white powd อ่านเพิ่มเติม

The hotel is a bit far from the airport, but the location on the beach was perfect. I was upgraded to very spacious suite room because party was going on at the pool side. I felt the staffs were very helpful and friendly. The bad thing was that a hotel shuttle driver stopped on the way to Phuket town, dropped only my wife and me, and handed us to local […] taxi driver. It seems that he wanted to get back margin from the tax i driver. We insisted to take us to the center of Phuket town, and managed to get on the shuttle bus again. Other Western guests were not dropped at the place, so it seems that only Japanese are targeted. Be careful!!! This hotel was wonderful! We were upgraded to an apartment and it was absolutely stunning. After several weeks of travelling this place felt like our own private oasis. The hotel is situated on a nice sandy beach with calm waters. It's very quiet and was perfect for our family holiday.

By The Sea offers excellent value for money. The quality and size of the spacious rooms would usually mean a luxury-style rate, but we paid a budget hotel rate. The beach is quiet and scenic, not good for swimming, but good for quiet walks. A bit far from the main points of Phuket, but that can also be a plus.

In low season with few other guests at the hotel, we had an amazing stay, and most of all we really enjoyed the fresh air, an almost empty beach and fantastically polite and smiling staff in this hotel with a great location a few kilometers away from the tourist-towns! Highly recommended!

Although this isn't a "5 Star" hotel, I was thoroughly satisfied wit the location, room comfort, and especially the service... The breakfast that was served every morning was great with many choices. The location couldn't have been better... Maybe 20-30 years from te beach... I would definitely stay there again...

A lovely getaway in a peaceful part of Phuket. The staff were most attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel setting and apartment was beautifully maintained and provided a calm haven to relax and enjoy a family holiday. A mini bus provided transport twice a day to the nearest town and taxi's were readily and well organised from these centres. […] Scooters for hire, near the hotel, provided additional opportunities for exploring the island. The calm waters of the bay provided the ideal setting to have a swim and the pool was an additional plus. The restuarant had a good range on their menu and room service was readily available. I saw some good reviews and a few bad reviews about 'By the sea'. I picked it for its location (right beside ocean) and price. I booked it for 3 days and were going to find some other hotels to try different locations. Well... I extended and stayed at 'By the sea' for 10days until I left Phuket. The hotel is about 7km far from phuket town and located […] near Cape Panwa. A motorcycle is recommended(I rented Kawasaki Vulcan 900 and it was a fun riding it). Very quiet place. The room was spacious. It has a small living room, a small kitchen, a good size bathroom with shower stall and a big bed room with balcony with full ocean view(MIne had a good view). Breakfast is included and the restaurant is right beside water. I was alright having it for 10 days. The lady chef Eh was awesome. Love her food. Wireless internet everywhere at the hotel area including the beach area. Free canoes are available to use. I used it everyday to go to small islands (about 2 to 3 km far) which have a small but beautiful and privatized beach. The manager Jack can speak pretty decent English and I didn't have much problems to communicate with other staffs either. Very polite but also pretty friendly staffs everywhere at the hotel. My room was cleaned very well daily and plenty of towels were provided. And there is a best view point near the hotel. You can see 360 degree view of Phuket town and also can see Phi phi island if it is clear day. I will give this hotel 5 out of 5 points. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

We really enjoyed this hotel. Staff were lovely (if not very strong in English) the room was really a suite and very beautiful. We had a balcony with chairs and a super view of the ocean and the pool area. Towels were provided for use on beach and poolside, as were very attractive beach bags. The restaurant served delish food. Breakfast is included […] in the price of the room and it is a full, hot, br fst buffet that was well-prepared, fresh and tasty. Everything was immaculate!!! Such a nice change from Bangkok, which we really enjoyed but found filthy (and we live in China!) Now, drawbacks: you were far from any real towns or villages but the free shuttle would take you places if you wanted to wander a bit. At night it was peaceful and quiet, the TV was large and many stations in English were available. There was also HBO. So, overall, the place is GREAT! fantastic little hotel of ONLY 37 rooms! Very Very quiet place and is located on the beach. Although the beach is sandy it contained a misture of small coral and stones but a lovely beach. Very peaceful and friendly staff. The staff a multi taskers and you would find them doing all osorts of things, although it not of 5 star quality, it was like home […] but with Sun, Sea and Sand and no noise. There are 2 BEACH bars, serving food and drinks, and a massage. YES on the beach ! Very good price and well worth going to. ONLY GRIPE: THERE is absolutley nothing around, apart from a couple of other hotels. The two beach bars monopolise the area, as they can charge what they want! BUT it is not expensive and cheaper than hotel prices. I would recommend hiring a motorbike and touring away from the hotel to find other places but do it before it get dark as when it does, you will get lost ! I DID! but eventually found the way back. Cet apparthotel est sur une plage sauvage magnifique la mer est très belle à marais haute pas besoin de parassol l ombre des arbres fait très bien l affaire .le personnel est très gentille et serviable un coin de repos idéal .je retournerai volentier

Jättebra läge på stranden där man har sol hela dagen och får se solnedgången på kvällen. Underbar personal som är mån om sina gäster. Rummen var stora och fräscha. Hotellet har varje dag gratis transport till och från "Festival" gallerian om man vill shoppa.

parfait pour s'éloigner de la folie de Patong et des plages bondées de Phuket! très belles chambres avec superbe vue sur la baie de chalong. Possibilité de louer un scooter juste à côté pour se balader sur phuket (à 10 min de Phuket Town). Vélos et canoe disponibles gratuitement à l'hotel! Très belle piscine et plage superbe!

Hotellet ligger litt utenfor vanlige hotellområder på Phuket. Men det ligger perfekt til ved en strand der du får følelsen av å være på en øde og romantisk øy. man er neste alene på stranden. Det finnes 2 små strand restauranter like i nærheten, og en liten strandbutikk. risene er utrolige på disse 2 plassene. Du får 2 hovedretter, 2 ris, 1 stor øl, […] 1 stor iste og 2 glass vin for rundt 100 kr. Den lengst unna hotellet har best mat. Det er også massasje og få på stranden, pluss longtailbåt utleie. Eneste minus med stranden er ved lavvann. da er den ikke pen med sin langgrunne.. Hotellets rom er STORE og fine. Vi har bodd på begge alternativer dem har. Sist hadde vi en leilighet i 4 etg med 2 soverom, 2 bad, stor stue, 3 tv, kjøkken og balkong. Den må ha vært over 120 m2 stor.. Vann på flasker er gratis på rommene, og det blir satt inn nye hver dag. Frokosten spiser i restauranten nede ved stranden. Her får du alt du måtte trenge for en perfekt frokost. Personalet er meget hyggelig og imøtekommende. 2 ganger daglig går det gratis minibuss inn til Phuket by. Det tar ca 25 min så det ligger ikke så veldig usentralt til. Utsikten over Chalong bay er vakker dagtid, ved solnedgang, og natterstid. Neste gang skal vi bo her ennå lengre. Passer vel best for par som vil ha en perfekt og romantisk ferie, men tror alle ville ha trivdes på dette hotellet. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Et helt igennem dejligt hotel. Standarden er generel høj og hvis du kan være heldig at få et værelse/lejlighed helt nede ved poolen og stranden, kan du ikke bede om så meget mere.... Du skal ikke booke hotellet hvis du er til storby, fest og farver. Hvis temaet for ferien er afslapning, dejlig mad og komfort, ja så er By the Sea det helt rigtige hotel […] for dig. Stranden kan for nogen være skuffende, da der er meget forskel på høj og lavvande. Når det er lavvande er det praktisk talt meget svært at bade pga. koralrev. Men for os som familie (2 voksne og 4 børn ) Var det en dejlig strand, da vi bare brugte poolen ved lavvande. Endvidere er der et spændende dyreliv, fisk, krabbe mm. som børnene nød at udforske. Alt i alt et dejligt hotel som vi godt kunne finde på at besøge igen og som faktisk ligger på stranden.....helt nede ved stranden så du vågner til bølgernes brusen..... อ่านเพิ่มเติม

by the sea整体非常令人满意，我是说，它的价值远远超过了它的价格，尤其是整个海滩上还有物美价廉的beach bar和massage服务的时候，你能在这里享受的真正的度假生活！海边的自助早餐非常赞。客房里有厨房，所以我们还可以做饭，然后坐在阳台上一边看海一边享受自己的手艺，并且跟邻居分享~ 但是不推荐喜欢热闹的海滩生活的朋友，这里出去不太方便，要开车20分钟甚至半个小时才能到镇上，交通费什么的，你懂的。 希望还能在这里待一段时间，这确实是个很好的酒店！

Très bel hôtel au bord de la mer. La plage n'est pas idéal à car il n'y a pas que du sable. Par contre, il y a plusieurs restos sur la plage et la vue y est magnifique. L'hôtel est calme, les chambres y sont spacieuses.

Hotel propre, très calme, très grande chambre avec un coin cuisine permettant de faire des repas, vue paradisiaque...situé à une demi-heure de phuket en taxi, donc loin des lieux touristiques. seul regret: beaucoup de difficultés à se faire comprendre même en anglais.

Havsbottnen dyig och full av sten redan vid strandkanten. Dyster syn vid kraftig ebb. Boende utmärkt liksom frukosten vid bord nästan vid strandkanten. - Genuina thairestauranger längs stranden.

とっても静かで、ゆっくりとされたい方に特にお勧めです。 朝食がとてもよかったです。 南国のフルーツがたくさんありました☆ 卵料理もその場で調理してくれますし、スタッフもとても感じがいいです。 ホテル自体はそんなに大きくないので、そんなに込みあった感じはないのですが、時間によっては朝食の時だけ込みあいます。 海は、干潮の時は岩がごつごつという印象ですが、満潮に近くなると波も穏やかでいい感じです。 朝食以外はホテルではなく、ビーチ沿いにあるレストランで食べました。 これまたおいしいし安いです。 バナナクレープを売るお店（お土産屋さんと一緒になってます）が二つのレストランの間にあるのですが、これもとってもおいしかったです。（５０Ｂ、2011年01月現在） ぜひ試していただきたい！ ただでイン […] ターネットもできます。 部屋はリビング、ベッドルームがあって、ベランダもあるので広々。 私たちはリビングはほとんど使いませんでしたが、スペースがあるというのがとても快適でした。 いろいろアクティビティをしたい方にはどうかわかりませんが、プールサイドまたはビーチでのんびりされたい方には強くお勧めします☆ อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Hotel tres agreable. Un peu eloigné du centre des attractions de Phuket mais c'est aussi un avantage car pas dans la foule. Vue sur la mer extraordinaire. Hotel familiale, tres bien tenu, avec plage au pied de l'hotel ou l on peut se rendre depuis la salle du petit dejeuner. Magnifique emplacement.
