This was a great stay, I was looking for some down time, and it was great, it was quite, the pool was awesome. I will definitely come stay here again.

We were pleased will all the staff. Aaran & Megan at check in were very nice. Great breakfast. Beautiful hotel. Our slip said paid in full but we were charged a sales tax of $9.00 extra that they said you should have told us. it was ok and we payed it. Just thought you should know.

I did enjoy my stay there, the room was very clean, bed was very comfortable and I loved the choice of pillows. The only thing I'm a little disappointed in was the resturant wasn't open Dec. 24 and of course the 25th,so, I had to go out for dinner. I expected on the 25th it wouldn't be open. The fire alarm went off at 5am. We don't know why. We had to stay in the lobby till 7am. The flashing alarm light and beep in our room didn't stop till 10am. So far, the only compensation was a free bad breakfast. I'm glad it wasn't a major fire because the staff was very disorganized. Newer hotel, very clean and comfortable. I was a little disappointed that breakfast was not included.

-very comfortable beds -very clean -close to highway, but if you stay at upper floors there is no noise

there is construction on the 101 so the on ramp is closed. the beds were not that comfortable. the front desk were reallllllly helpfull and had a great personality. We were only there for 1 night and it is worth it for a night.

Awesome place to stay, continental breakfast, gym, pool, room with all the comforts of home...wish I could have stayed longer. Kim

In spite of the construction going on with the new bridge that leads to the hotel, it is one of the better hotels in Oxnard for it is still relatively new. It has been well kept. It is on a quiet area and yet close to the freeway and shopping.

Hotel is a short drive from Ventura without paying the higher cost of staying in Ventura. While located right off the freeway, we didn't hear any freeway noise. I was concerned because there were signs of freeway construction going on, but because we stayed over a Saturday night, there was no construction activity to disturb us. First, the bed was VERY uncomfortable even though they advertised a "dial your comfort level" perk. (dial did nothing). The bedspread was lumpy (small balls of padding sort of like cysts throughout both bedspreads. The sheets were very wrinkled. The mirror frame was falling apart, with half the trim gone. Oriented parallel to US 101 we erquested the West facing [away] side. Quiet with an ocean breeze. We were pleased. A full service restaurant on site where we enjoyed a comfortable cooked to order breakfast. within a 5min walk an outback Steakhouse.

Our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn was very comfortable. The staff at the front desk and the restaurant were excellent. The room was clean , and the bed was comfortable. Would stay there again.

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. Our original plan was to stay in Santa Barbara but when we found out how much the hotels were there we decided to stay slightly further out and we had car hire anyway so we just drove in. This hotel was great because it was very clean, friendly staff who were always willing to help, a nice restaurant and clean heated […] outdoor pool and spa. It is a nice hotel but the surroundings are not the prettiest but if you are using it as a base like we did it more than does the job. There is a great Outback steakhouse just beside it which was very popular and a very short drive away there is supermarkets and a huge outlet shopping centre which we very much enjoyed!! I thought that this was great that food was available however, I was not happy twith the substantial cost of eating there. The quality of the food did not warrant the cost, for what we pd we could have gone to a restaurant in the area and received better quality food. For the convenience of this trip, HGI Oxnard was a perfect hotel. Clean, comfortable and convenient. All one could ask for

On website the pool and spa looked great but when my kids and I got there the pool had palm tree debris and looked really neglected. My kids were disappointed as was I. Everything else was fine.

I stayed at this hotel for the weekend visiting family in Oxnard. This hotel was conveniently located and gave me easy access to restaurants and the movie theater as well as the beach. It was clean and had a nice pool with a hot tub. I had a great time and restful stay.

I was very pleased with the service -- we were part of a group attending a wedding in Oxnard and when we inquired about rooms close together with our relatives, he quickly checked and was able to change our room's location. The breakfast service was cordial and friendly and the mix of available items were very satisfactory!

The hotel was better than expected. The staff was friendly and willing to help with anything. They upgraded us to a better room because he notice the room they gave us was facing the freeway and would b noisy. Very pleased with my stay here would defitnatley stay here again. Also they got a resturant in the lobby which serves outstanding breakfast.

After reading what other travelers said about this hotel, I thought that it sounded good. It was as good as they said. Room was nice, clean, and quiet. I will stay there again.

The hotel was great, stayed there after my company Christmas party. Very welcoming staff, lobby area with TV and couches, coffee and snacks, nice rooms, neutrogena bath products and great bedding! they have a business center, pool and fitness room also which I did not use.
