"Great reasonably priced hotel close to NY City"
This hotel was exactly what I was looking for--clean, modest, and close proximity to NY City. Subway is a short walk away. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit NY City but not looking to pay NY City hotel prices.
"Good choice for budget traveller"
Good location close to subway line, food (fast & otherwise), and even a small grocery store just up the street. Typical continental breakfast - nothing special, but not bad either. Maid service was a bit lacking - never replaced the towels even when they were left on the floor. Just haphazardly hung back again. For the money, it was a good choice. Bed […] was pretty firm for my taste, but pretty normal for a motel bed. Rooms were roomy enough, but the TV channel selection was pretty sparse. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
"A solid, but tired, hotel"
I stayed here for a prolonged business trip, and "the hotel experience" isn't really a factor for me. I don't need a fancy hotel with lots of first-rate amenities to be satisfied; the place just needs to be clean and comfortable, with a responsive staff, and I'm happy. That said, this hotel is . . . okay. It's convenient to the subway, in a relatively […] good neighborhood, and in walking distance to several tolerable restaurants, though nothing fancy. What makes the rooms "suites," I suppose, is that they have small refrigerators. That's about it. A relatively comfortable hotel, with zero frills (the breakfast is tolerable, though nothing spectacular) and an attentive front desk crew. My room did NOT have a shower, only a bathtub, which was a bit of a bummer, and the in-room wifi was sketchy. I ended up poaching on the signal from the McDonald's next door. Not a bad place by any stretch, but fairly tired and shopworn. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

"Budget special"
This hotel is a good bargain if you are driving into the City, need a place to park while you go into Manhattan, and don't mind getting around on public transportation. The hotel is clean and simple. It is very near the no 7 IRT line that takes you quickly to Grand Central and Times Square. The neighborhood is nothing to take pictures of, but it seems […] safe enough and the convenience is great. The staff is Indian and everyone seems pretty helpful. We had no issues or problems. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
"comfortable and convenient"
Only problems being very limited parking, but we worked it out; and our room was directly across from the elevator machine room, so it was a bit noisy; and the tv service was lacking--only a few channels. Most were locked out. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. VERY quick trip to get into Manhattan. overall, a good experience.
"The Hotel La Quinta in Long Island is a good optio"
Close to the main sightseeing in Manhattan. Clean and comfortable. I highly recommend it. Good experience in general.
"Clean and close"
Very pleased with the cleaniness of hotel. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast not much to mention but a reasonable restaurant right down the street. Subway close. Would stay again.
"Great location"
This is your average hotel. The room wasn't perfect, but it was clean and comfy. The walls are kind of thin. We could hear the kids in the other room, and there always seemed to be a vacuum going. We were hardly in the room though, so that wasn't much of a bother. The continental breakfast wasn't amazing, but there's a McDonald's next door if you're […] picky. The neighborhood isn't bad-not nearly as industrial as other parts of Long Island City, and there are a decent amount of shops & restaurants around. But most importantly, it is super close to the train and a direct route into the city! For us, it was just a place to sleep. If you're looking for convenience over luxury at a good price, this is your hotel. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
"Parking : ("
Overall the hotel is clean and accesible by train , or taxi, and is very close to the city..BUT...Horrible parking location. The parking is setup for a first come first serve basis which means you would have to risk parking your car or rental on the street. Suggestion* Hotel Management should link up with the Mcdonalds next door which has a very large […] lot which can be use for overflow for the guess of the Hotel. If this was a option I would rate this hotel a solid 10. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
"The LaQuinta Queens was worth what we paid for"
The rooms are very small and the staff is not too friendly. While my wife was talking to a maid she saw her wipe a coffee cup out with a dirty towel so beware do not drink out of the cups. Breakfast is very busy and not alt of room to sit and enjoy, however a place is next door and has a great menu. Subway is close and neighborhood is good and it took […] only 10 minutes to Times Square. Overall not too bad a place. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
"La Quinta Hotel in Queens,New York"
The price was good, the beds were comfortable, the room was clean and the location was close to the subway. However, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again. The blankets on the beds were stained. We got no room service our first day. The fridge in our room froze the fruits and vegetables we bought from the corner market. The key cards did not […] work well. We had to swipe them many times before they would unlock the door. We were told that all of the locks had this problem so changing the key card wouldn't make any difference. When it was time for us to leave for the airport, we asked the desk to call us a cab. They did not call for an "official" New York City cab. The one they called was not in a regular cab car and had no meter. He charged us $25 for a 10 minute ride to the airport. The ride to our hotel was only $12.50. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

"I Will Never Stay at this La Quinta Again"
1. There is not enough parking space. 2. Wifi connection is IFFY. 3. The computer they provide for guest to print boarding pass is as SLOW as a turtle. 4. The breakfast attendant wore gloves but the problem is he was wearing it at all times. This includes opening/closing kitchen door, then touching bagels and other pastries on display. I saw him in […] the front lobby wearing the same gloves. Yucky. 5. I asked the front lobby if I can catch a taxi outside. The receptionist said yes but offered to call for me. So I accepted the offer. The problem is she did not disclose the fact that they are getting paid $10.00 from the car service which was disclosed by the driver. They should disclose details like this to their guest before making an offer to call for them. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
"Disppointed"
The hotel decor is way too old, Rooms are dark, needs proprer lighting, old wall paper, ancient zeinth TV sets, no room clock, bathrooms were old but strong flushing toilets. The most annoying thing that bothered me was their "free" INTERNET SERVICE. 3 out of 5 nights it was DOWN. Breakfast was acceptable other then that nothing great.
"Great location at a great price"
The hotel is a great buy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This hotel is across the street from the #7 train with easy access to Manhattan. Plenty of stores and restaurants in the neighborhood if you want to explore. Our room with the king sized bed was small but very quiet considering the traffic volume on Queens Blvd. The room was very clean […] and had plenty of towels and amenities, plus a refrigerator. The complimentary breakfast was great. For us the best feature was free parking in the hotel's lot. I would definitely stay here again. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
"Close to train"
The location of the hotel was very good close to everything. Price was awesome.
"La Quinta Inn Queens"
Great location only 4 blocks from subway into the city. Comfort for half the price of a ManHattan Hotel
"St pattys day weekend"
We,ve visited friends in queens before so we knew our way around that area of the hotel. The 7 train is right down the road. That train can take u right to the city easily! Considering a booked holiday party weekend their service was great!! Will go back again.
"March break in New York City"
This place is good, easy to get to time square on subway, I have stayed here before and would stay again. The only thing I did not like is that the internet was not working in the room.
"la quinta hotel 3718 queen blvd"
ii would recommend this hotel to all, it close to the train station, service is very good. over all, i was happy with my stay there
"Convenient location"
2 blocks away from the 40 St Lowery St on the 7 Line and value for the price of a hotel that near to NYC.
"Just Passable"
I know you get what you pay for, and this was a cheap hotel, but it felt cheap. The staff were nice enough and they said they are renovating, but I hope this wasn't a renovated room. The bedside lamp could only be turned on or off by screwing the lightbulb. There wasn't a clock/radio. The beds were fine and the room was clean. The breakfast was barely […] passable. The orange juice was super sweet fake juice that made me gag. There wasn't any half and half that I could find. I didn't find the toaster until afterwards, off in a corner, in a very crowded room. The up side was the fun of hearing so many international languages being spoken. It was convenient, but I don't expect to return there. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

"Great Hotel"
This is the second time we stayed here and have been very happy both times. The room is clean and comfortable, it's quiet (unless your neighbors decide to talk on the phone in the hallway) and close to the subway. The number 7 line is under construction for a while, so it takes an extra transfer to get to Manhattan. We will stay here again.
"Clean, comfortable, Easy access to New York/subway"
Just Recently stayed in the Queens LaQuinta Feb 2012..Hotel is clean and located right next to a McDonalds..Prior to booking the room I read all previous coments left by visitors..not knowing the area I was concerned with safety..prior reviews indicated that the area was safe. I traveled with my husband and teenager for a weekend of shopping and site […] seeing in New York City and felt very safe staying at this hotel. Parking is very limited but hotel does provide alternative parking when hotel lot is full.. The breakfast area is very tiny as stated in prior reviews..I went to Mcdonalds..We had dinner at the Dinner 1 block away and they had the most amazing Burgers I ever had.. $9.99 for a burger, fries, cole slaw and drink but you are STUFFED, delicious. When riding subway purchase the $29.99 unlimited metro card and share with your group if planning on multiple destinations when traveling to the areas of the City that you want to see..IE statue of liberty, ground zero, central park, time square, china town etc..If only going to the city and you only need round trip to and from hotel it will cost you approximately $2.50 per person. I spent about $40 not knowing about the unlimited card because we kept getting on and off the subway to take in the sites..using the N subway and the 7 subway you will get to the city and your hotel from almost anywhere you get off..But when getting on your next subway make sure you know what letter you are getting on cause there are multiple subways coming through one station that may not be the one you want to be on. it's not hard to get around as long as you know what subways to catch. I recomend for you to plan your day out and ask at the station in Queens and write them down..It sounds harder than it really is but just a hint to prevent you from getting lost..We had a great weekend and I would stay here again because of the convienience of getting to the city, the low price compared to New York City hotels and cleanliness of this hotel. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
"Good price simple hotel"
My boyfriend and I were looking to get away for a 3 day weekend so we decided to sight see in new York. Only problem was we are on a right budget and everything in new York is priced highly. La Quinta inn is not too expensive and a decent looking hotel so we went for it. Parking is limited so we were worried but we got a spot and parked the car there […] all weekend the subway wasn't too far at all and vet convenient we went right into time square. The front desk clerks at the hotel were alright I didn't care too much for them they kind of made me feel stupid. I also didn't care much for the cleaning service. We were out sight seeing all day and when we got back they still hadn't cleaned our room.... Anyway I'd stay here again considering the price and how close it is to the city. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
I enjoyed my stay the room was very comftable and very clean.
"La Quinta Inn Queens"
The entrance to the hotel isn't the nicest, but the rooms were very clean and comfy. It's a nice place to stay if you're there for a weekend. The continental breakfast was nice. You could make your own breakfast sandwiches (eggs & sausage). The only things that was a downside was the noise. Every night there was a different room that was having a huge […] party. Even when they were on the other side of the building, we could hear the party every time they opened the door as if it were next door to us. For the weekend it wasn't a bad stay, but I would probably stay some place else if I were to stay a bit longer in NYC. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
"Very good hotel"

Overall the hotel is good. I had some issues with wifi and internet connection. I was very disappointed with their service and attitude.
"The Train stop"
Don't know where I read it exactly, but the info said to get off at 33rd street. on the 7 train. Actually, 40th is closer. Nice people, good breakfast, the wifi and our netbook didn't always get along (??), but otherwise, a safe bet for a hotel.

"La Quinta in Queens"
This was a perfectly fine and convenient place to stay, but much cheaper than you might expect simply because it is across the river from Manhattan. Two blocks to the elevated subway station and you can be at Grand Central or Times Square in half an hour or so. The staff was businesslike but friendly enough. There's a McDonald's right next door, a couple […] of diners down the street and a thousand other little places to go in the neighborhood. And when it was time to leave, the taxi ride to Laguardia was less than 15 minutes and about 15 dollars. If you want opulence and tourist attractions on your doorstep, you'll have to go somewhere else and pay 5 times as much. If you want a fairly convenient and economical hideout, try Queens. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
"Convenient, Friendly & Inexpensive"
10 minutes by train from Grand Central Station, in a fascinating neighborhood with many restaurant choices & half the price of Manhattan hotels (with free parking & free breakfast) -- what's not to like?
"Hotel OK"
Parking free yes but very few slots (15 max) Subway close (yes) but unfortunately some work made the station unavailable so we had to go by (no stop) get out at 61st and get another train back to the station Breakfast included: yes but the room is small and very few tables to sit.... Room cleaning: yes and no Room was not done at 4.30pm when back […] from Manhattan. Was done later....whn back at 10pm. Could be better. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

"Good for family and friends."
I just have been there last weekend with my family and friends, even because is close to subway there is no much noise, rooms are not big but comfortable, and they need better pillows, best thing, You can be at Times Square in 10 minutes using the subway, I recommend.
"Don't think you've got a good deal!"
We booked a King size room b/c the good price. When we checked in, they gave us a room on 1st floor which is at the half baseman. We asked for any room above 1st floor, but they told us all the rooms were booked. Did i mention it's the weekday and there are over 100 rooms!! We ended up paying upgrade fee. Bad customer service and will not stay there […] FOREVER. My advice for all of you—call the hotel to make sure you're not getting a room at baseman before you book it. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
"Good Choice for NYC"
This hotel is NOT a fancy NYC hotel, but is a good, reasonably-priced alternative to high-priced hotels in Manhatten. The room was adequate in size, and the price paid was reasonable. The room was clean, and the hotel has a small (one computer and one printer) business center with free Internet access for you to check emails, print board passes and […] do basic Internet research on NYC. The subway station is one block away and across the street, so you can get to Manhatten and all of the sites in less than an hour, no problem. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
"basic hotel-"
although this is a basic hotel, with no frills, it is clean and offers a great proximity to NYC with 7 train stop within 3 blocks. No bells and whistles,(ie, my view was of the hotel parking lot..... but clean, quiet and safe.....slept like a baby....
"great access to midtown"
I stayed for one night only, arriving quite late. The room was clean and comfortable. There was shampoo but no soap in the bathroom; the thin-screen TV had sound but no picture; and the coffee maker did not seem towork. There was a continental breakfast downstairs, so I got coffee there. I had no time to complain about the shortcomings, and cared not […] a whit about them, frankly. I am sure that I could have gotten soap had I asked, and maybe even a functioning TV, but it didn't matter to me. Here is the good part: I was able to drive to NYC, park my car for free, take a very convenient subway into mid-down, keep some appointmnets, and return for my car. It was smooth as silk. So if you are looking for a budget locale with basic amenities, free parking and great access to midtown, this is worth considering. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
