Cosmo Hotel Hong Kong - ฮ่องกง

It is centrally located and walking distance to bus, trams or MTR. However, the room is very small, but we have a tub/ shower. we have free access to the internet in our room. Since we did not bring our computer, we could use the one in the hotel lobby. The hotel staff is very helpful getting us to places where we wanted to go.

I'm an American that lives in Beijing. I've stayed at about 4 hotels in Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. Also stayed at the Disney Hollywood Hotel on Lantau Island. The Cosmo Hotel was a hotel at which I had never stayed. I stayed at the Cosmo Hotel because I wanted: - a reasonably priced hotel (given Hong Kong prices and room sizes) for my wife, and 6 […] and 3 year olds. - a hotel close to Ocean Park - something close to the rest of Hong Kong Island and transportation around the island. Cosmo Hotel fit the bill. The room we were in was small by American hotel standards (typical for Hong Kong, so I was used to it, especially for the price range I was looking at). But the room was comfortable. Our room faced the mountainside and the cemetary (the cemetary view didn't bug me), and the hotel frosted over the windows and we couldn't see outside from the room. The front facing the bay has a great view at around the 12th floor or above. The staff was pleasant enough. My family and I travel pretty easily, and we didn't need much from the staff, other than what were the best ways to get to Ocean Park, and to subway stops from the hotel. Also asked staff what was the nearest Bank of China branch to our hotel. The staff had good answers. We were about a 5 minute walk to a free local pool, and 8 minutes to Hennessy Road. Starbucks and the Spaghetti House were very close, which was important for my finicky kids, and my caffeine addiction. The buffet was not the greatest, but was good enough, and varied over the 3 days we stayed at the hotel. The in-room wireless internet wasn't free, but was available, and easy to connect to from my PC. what would have made this hotel perfect would have been to have free internet, a indoor pool for the kids, and to be across the street from a subway line and a shopping mall. But that would have also probably made the hotel more expensive, as there were plenty of hotels around Causeway Bay that were more expensive than Cosmo Hotel. Overall, this w อ่านเพิ่มเติม

I know it is hard to get good breakfast in Hong Kong, but it is so close to good here, that I think it is worth mentioning. Great hotel and excellent service. The complimentary breakfasts featured a varied selection of items and the staff spoke English and were extremely helpful for obtaining directions and and places of interest to visit. Convenient connection to MRT by regular shuttle bus.

I brought 2 teenagers from Boston to have a cultural immersion trip in Hong Kong and China. It was their first time there and my first time living in a hotel as my families are still there. I worried before that we have to walk a long way to subway under the hot weather. But it turns out that it only took us 7 mins to walk to Time Square. Very convenient […] location but very quiet. Staffs there are very friendly and helpful. I forgot to bring an adapter for the change of voltage and the housekeeping brought it right away to my room. The only drawback is the stairways are full of housekeeping stuffs and it's hard for us to go by the stairs to the breezeway for WiFi. Skype in lobby is also very noisy and it's hard to hear. Everything is easy when you stay in cosmo hotel..free shuttle bus anywhere you want to go around the city.free coffee and wifi.

Good location and great staff. Our original room was not ready which was the standard suite. Instead, we got the Executive Suite on the top!! I think the standard would be good enough.

we booked a room with a king bed at the cosmo hotel but were sent to the cosmopolitan hotel because all the rooms at the cosmo were occupied. we also didnt get the king bed we wanted but a room with two double beds. the hotel and room were pretty nice, service good, just not what we booked and expected. breakfast was terrible and overpriced, don't go […] there if you didn't book the rooms with breakfast. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

I would recommend this hotel to others. I stayed there for 4 nights in April 2011. I arrived early in the morning but the hotel staff were more than happy to look after my luggage until I could check in. Staff on the front desk were always helpful and friendly. It is about a 10 minute walk to the nearest subway station. I felt completely safe as a lone female traveller on my own in the area at night. I didn't hear noise from outside or other rooms. The only downside is the size of the room. I was staying in a double room alone so had no problem but I think it would be on the small side for 2 people. However, the bed was large and comfortable, and the ensuite bathroom was a reasonable size. Handy to have a fridge and complimentary water too. The room was cleaned and toiletteries replaced daily, including toothbrush. I really enjoyed my stay in Hong Kong, its very easy to get around the city and there is lots to do. A few buildings near their better Costmopolitan Hotel which is across from the horse race-course and next to the muslim cemetry. about 10 min walk to time square. have a shuttle bus at costmopolitan hotel that runs 20 min each to certain locations. no bells and whistles. decent and clean room for a 3 night tourist.

A good solid hotel, nice people.

The hotel staff were all extremley friendly and helpful and the hotel itself was clean, well presented and in a good location

Before we stayed in this hotel, we stayed in another hotel. In terms of price, it is acceptable but not fantastic. In terms of location, this hotel is NOT very close to subway or any restaurants, it requires a bit of walking.In terms of the size, it is not any different from the one we stayed at before but the bathroom is much smaller. In order to get free internet (only one hour) has to go down to the lobby, very inconvenient. I paid less for my previous hotel but I received free internet service in room. since our visit to hongkong is basically disneyland, ocean park & a some shopping, cosmo hotel was conveniently a place to stay. their free hotel bus service was waiting right at the central train station. that same bus brought us back to the station when we went to disneyland. their location was a few minutes away to ocean park & a walk away to time […] square area where you can do some shopping stuff. hotel service is friendly & simple but complete with the necessary. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

The hotel is comfortable and we had a very good room for a family of 5 (two adjoining rooms). The buffet breakfast was very disappointing. The food was of a low standard, the buffet was bare and the dining room was in fact the hotel bar. Overall it was a satisfactory (but not great) hotel experience.

The hotel is clean and the services good even though there is not many staff.It is near the tram line andtakes about 15 mins to the city central. The only setback is there is no place for taxis or buses to stop and wait.We had to use the facilities of the hotel next door.Overall the hotel is OK

located within 100 yards of Hong Kong's famous "trolley" line. Stanley Market bus number 6x, and 6a stop within a block of the hotel. Friendly hotel staff, and quality, "full" breakfast included in some packages. Will stay there again on next Hong Kong visit.

We found the Cosmo a good budget priced option for our stay in Hong Kong -A lot cheaper than other hotels. The rooms were very clean, if a little on the small side, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Although the hotel is a fair way from the metro lines, trams can be used instead and are a lot of fun. they also have a shuttle bus they share […] with the Cosmopolitan hotel just down the road that takes you free to main metro stations. Close to the Causeway Bay shopping district. The hotel is clean, accessible, functional and the staff helpful. I will definitely return here on my next HK trip.

The hotel was a good price at the time. The room was a bit small and lacked outlets to use. I think I only found one outlet in the room which made it a bit difficult to iron my clothes. The room was pretty clean. TV a bit small and the remote battery was out and not checked. A bit noisy from the hall way noise and outside street noise. The room slippers […] are really nice and comfortable, and sufficient complimentary water. They had a nice patio on the 5th floor which had free wifi access. It's a pretty nice place to hangout if it's not too cold. Plus you had a coffee and hot water dispenser there for your usage. Next door in the Cosmopolitan hotel is a complimentary shuttle service that you could use to get around Wan Chai area. There is a schedule which tells you all the details of it's coming and goings. Excellent little hotel, great location, small but really suffiecent size rooms, clean and very good value for money. I have stayed there more than 10 times and it is my prefered choice in Hong Kong. I have not tried the hotel facilities as I rather explore the city.

My wife and I are expats living in China and travel to Hong Kong every 3-4 months and have stayed in many hotels over the years. The Cosmo by far was the nicest we have stayed at yet. The staff was helpful in every way, the room clean and well stocked, and the location is not bad at all. You can catch a bus or taxi right outside the front door or take […] the free shuttle to all the major places. You are just a short walk away from Times Square and the MTR as well. You have to pay for every device connecting (I.e. Phone, Laptop) a hefty fee. So so experience.

For a hotel at this price, the quality of the breakfast was very disapointing in terms of food, a broken down coffee machine, poor service, having to share a table with many others, cleanliness and no papers to read

Had a very good stay in Cosmo hotel. Clean rooms, helpful staff. Close to Wanchai pubs and clubs district. Rooms a bit small with little space to hang up clothes but other that a very good stay.

Was a little disapointed. We hope the hotel can provide free internet or wifi access for all hotel guests.

The hotel was great. Getting a 3 person room in Hong Kong is difficult, so when I came across Cosmo Hotel I was happy. It's clean, confortable and couldn't be closer to several bus lines.

This hotel was what I expected. The room was very small, but clean and functional. I would say the same for the hotel. You pay for Internet but I knew that going in and factored that into the relatively modest price of the room. You can walk to the hotel from either Wan Chai or Causeway Bay stations, but it's a little easy to get lost on foot at first. […] Cabs in Hong Kong are cheap, so better to take one from Central upon arrival. busses, tram, mtr, walking distance to all very close, very big rooms, best bang for your buck.

The rooms in Cosmo are really tiny. There is no place to keep your luggage, no clothes cupboards, just space for a couple of hangers. The coffee machine is hidden inside a small glass cupboard, if you pull the tray out, it hits the bed. The plug point is hidden behind a table, so to recharge your laptop or mobile you have to pull the table forward and […] reach behind. The beds occupy around 80% of the room, so no space for movement. The room is fine if (a) you are alone (we were two) (b) you have no luggage (we had some) (c) you do not want to move around in the room, say for exercising (my wife has to stretch every day for an hour!) The breakfast is overpriced and not worth it, so have it only if it comes as part of the deal. Internet is free (1 hr at a time) in the lobby, in the room it is priced. However, the hotel is clean and the staff were ever ready to come over and supply us with coffee, sugar and creamers. They also helped us with our shopping, telling us the best locations to go to. The best point about the hotel is its location. It is just 10 mins walk away from Times Square, a beautiful mall in the middle of a very busy shopping area. Wan Chai road and Johnston road are just 5 minutes away and there are two MTR stations within 10 minutes walk away. There are good eateries in Times Square area. Pretty good location, reasonable price. friendly staff. kinda suck that you need to pay extra to use internet inside your room, or free Wifi only at the lobby. The heater doesn't really work inside the room, or it was A/C only, so even cranking it up the dial, it was still a bit cold inside the room.

The staff was friendly and helpful. We had enjoyed the bar in the lobby. The location was okay, it really depends on what your plans are while in Hong Kong. The room was quite small, but that is to be expected in Hong Kong. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

The CosMo hotel is a great hotel to use as a base point. The rooms are getting a little tired, but the rest of the hotel is very well presented. It served it's purpose very well and once again the local staff proved how Hong Kong hospitality has got it right.

Great rate given the location. The bathroom is very small, but not a problem to me. This one is better and more modern than its neighboring hotel (Cosmopolitan Hotel) which I stayed last year.

especially because of the price. we have been to HK 10 straight years because of family birthdays so we are familiar with the city. For us to say that we are pleased is exceptional since we are used to luxury lodging in HK. Hotels.com help us find this jewel after a brief search.

Average hotel. There are better hotels around Hong Kong, but they are very expensive. Worth looking around before booking this hotel. The location is not too bad!

the hotel didnt mention about the renovation at the cafe n under construction while daytime...noisy in the morning ...only they mentioned it the notice papler on the room desk. even more they passed the alert about the cleaning exteria n the window so asked the guest to shut down the cartin all day long in advavance however the cleaning day has been […] changed without notice. while i was relaxing in the room after morning shower ,i encounter the cleaning guys outside of the windows, the clerk should have given us the schedule change though. no apology at all from them....so SAD อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Stayed at cosmo for six nights and really enjoyed our stay. Hotel is located at nice and calm neighbourhood, not far from subway. Room was clean every day and bathroom was spacy.
