Stayed 2 nights What we liked: great location great view free breakfast What we did not like: Staff was universally rude There was an odor of rotten eggs in the room. Don't know where it came from breakfast was disappointing: canned fruits and industrial ham. No proscciutto there. Hotel is listed as four stars but that was not a four star breakfast. It is a nice hotel and the location, cleanliness, and views are excellent. But it does look a bit tired and worn, a bit below what you'd expect of a four star. I'd stay there again, but not at full room price.

We used this hotel as a last minute fill in. Very few options in this area during this time. Hotel was expensive by our standards but not by the area. Room was simple but not clean. Magnifique vue sur la mer!!!

Cet hôtel est surclassé, il ne mérite pas du tout 4 *! Les tarifs sont disproportionés par rapport à l'état usagé et défraîchi que présente cet hôtel. Tout le mobilier et sanitaires est ancestral ! Le plancher et sol de salle de bain rayé, miroir aux bords fissurés et rouillés. Déception !

Niente da ridire su l'accoglienza, molto gentile le ragazze della reception, ma la camera 630 non merita neanche 3 stelle, molto delusi, ci aspettavamo alle qualita del 4 stella visto su internet, c'è ancora molto lavoro da intraprendere per ridare le 4 stelle, l'hotel non ha i bagni in spiaggia, ed i bagni rosa dove ci hanno consigliato di andare non […] riservano posti per l'albergo, fanno solo una riduzione del prezzo se il cliente ha riservato all'albergo. The hotel was built in 1954 and has probably not been modernized since. It must have been a fantastic hotel in it's glory days. Our 3-bed room was spacious. If you do not want to spend more than a couple of days in the Portofino area then it is more than adequate. The saltwater swimming pool is very deep, not suitable for the smallest guests. Pool water extremely chemical

L'hotel è un 4 stelle in posizione privilegiata. Si è al centro di Santa Margherita, a 100 metri dal lungomare. Due ascensori portano dalla reception alla strada, e si è quindi isolati dai rumori, visto che l'albergo è in posizione sopraelevata (circa 30 metri di altezza s.l.m.). Camera ampia, ampio terrazzo, ma un bagno piccolo, anche se non mancava […] nulla. Doccia calda a tutte le ore. La prima colazione, compresa nel prezzo (che per un 4 stelle è molto competitivo) consisteva nel salato e nel dolce. Unico neo la macedonia di frutta, che era sciroppata e l'assenza di uno yogurt magro alla frutta. C'era il magro semplice. Ottimi i cornetti, la crostata di marmellata, cappuccino e succo ACE. Il servizio in piscina era impeccabile. Un barman di grande esperienza e diplomazia ci ha servito aperitivi alla frutta e cocktail alcolici, ripeto, a un prezzo contenuto rispetto a quelli che siamo abituati ad attenderci negli hotel 4 stelle, situati in luoghi eleganti. Arrivati in hotel, ci sono state chieste le chiavi della macchina. Il responsabile del posteggio parcheggiava e ci riconsegnava la macchina, senza che noi ci preoccupassimo di questo. Tornerò sicuramente in questo albergo, per la gentilezza del personale e per la centralità del luogo. E' davanti al porto. A destra si va verso Paraggi e Portofino. A BESOIN D'UNE SERIEUSE RENOVATION tres mauvais rapport qualite/prix le petit dejeuner buffet est nul on est tres loin d'un 4 etoiles!!!!

Struttura sicuramente bella vent'anni fa... la camera (lato parco) era abbastanza grande ma l'arredamento è molto vecchio e non adeguato ad un 4 stelle (ho visto hotel 3 stelle con camere più belle). Anche gli spazi comuni necessitano di una ristrutturazione, peccato perchè ha molto potenziale, con la piscina di acqua di mare ed una bella terrazza sul […] golfo.
