execelent service of the AM Caffe, room is old,good place near BTS Nana stop

Hotel is old but still nice and in good location. Everything was fine, but don't expect staff to do anything for you.

I stayed in this hotel last year, and I loved it! So I stayed again this year, and was incredibly disappointed. First of all, I reserved a non-smoking room with a large bed. According to the website, this was no problem. When I got to the check-in counter, however, the employee told me there were no more non-smoking rooms with large beds available […] at the price I paid. I would either have to take a smoking room with a king-sized bed, or get two twin-sized beds in a non-smoking room. I understand mistakes happen, so I wasn't going to complain...but then the employee told me that if I were to purchase a room upgrade, they could put me in a non-smoking "Tower Room" that had a king-sized bed. THIS made me angry. I really don't like it when people say, in effect, "I'm not going to give you what you paid for unless you pay me more." What Ambassador should've done was offer me the upgrade for free, or not offer it at all. Instead, the employee used the hotel's mistake to try and get more money out of me. Very disappointing. Anyway, after I explained my frustration, the employee was semi-apologetic, and in the end he put me in a smoking room with a king-sized bed on the second floor. It didn't stink TOO bad, but there was a plastic fork laying on the floor. No idea why. Even worse, at 4:30 AM the air-conditioning fan started squeaking very loudly for about five or ten minutes. Luckily it soon stopped... The next day they were able to move me to a non-smoking king-sized bed room for the remainder of my stay, so that was nice. Until it was time to check out. The Ambassador has a large lobby with a long counter, but for some reason only four people work the counter. When it was time to check out, I stood in line for about 15 minutes until I was finally able to talk with an employee. The first thing she told me was that I had been standing in the check-IN line, not the check-OUT line, and I needed to talk to the other two employees who were scrambling to handle all the peo อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Price is the only thing going for the ambassador hotel. It should be compared to guest houses NOT hotels in Bangkok.

Nice big hotel the Tower wing was comfortable .No hassels . But the only drawback and be aware that they charge you a hell lot for the mini bar wheather you consume it or not we had not consumed any thing but were forsed to pay for it be aware

In comparision you get a very good hotel for your money.

The hotel is located ideally for the persons traveling for leisure n holiday, though it is quite near to the main business centers n the sky rail also. the hotel has two wings. The main tower is slightly away from the reception area which makes it look a bit away. On the whole the place is quite good to stay.

The hotel staff were very helpfull, the pool and gym were great and the location was perfect - less than 5 mins walk to the BTS.

The room was ok, smelled of smoke even though non-smoking. The sheets were a bit torn up on top. The A/c kind of worked. Bath was nice. The check in and service was poor. Internet didn't work after I signed up and they tried to charge me a fortune for it even after it didn't work. I asked for my money back and they wouldn't comply. Very poor experience […] overall. This hotel is great in so many ways. Only bad thing is location.

Should be promoted backwards to 2 star. The wash basin in the room and the bath room scupper gets clogged with water. I did complain once although it was attended to promtely, the job was attended to on temperory basis.It did get clogged again and somehow my family & I adjusted as we stayed there only for 4 days. I could not shift to an other hotel […] as I wld be loosing my money, so I decided to somehow manage there.Well will never again stay in that hotel. The hotel was ok for our stay but I think there are better-value hotels in Bangkok as the competition is quite stiff there. At the same price that we booked we could have got a 4-star hotel with breakfast included. Unfortunately even though we realised this before we could not cancel as some other friends had booked a non-refundable booking at Ambassador […] Hotel. The location is very convenient. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Close to the Nana BTS Skytrain station and the way is pretty straightforward. People are on the street all the time, so not need to worry about safety when coming back to the hotel late. We stayed in the Main building, which is older than the "Tower wing" just because it was cheaper. […] Yes, it was old, but the room was OK. Beware that the hotel does not provide free internet. If you need internet for just checking emails and browsing sightseeing information, I think it is more reasonable to get a SIM card for limited period or limited MBs of data, if you have an unlocked cell phone. I bought a SIM card good for 100MB at 150 Bhat and it was way cheaper than paying for the hotel-provided internet connection. Breakfast buffet was very good. The restaurant could be very crowded sometimes, but I always could find a seat somewhere. The cons are the surrounding environment. You will see many street girls around the hotel so females might feel uncomfortable at night (heaven for males, maybe). We stayed three nights and were very satisfied with the big, clean room with great city view. We were recommended to book the tower wing by some friends and were not dissapointed. If you're here for some shopping it's a good pick aswell, the sky train is just down the street, 50 metres away. Fantastic breakfast buffe'. The only annoying thing is that […] the hotel also have tailor shops on the ground floor and the vendors were very pushy and couldn't take no for an answer. Compared with the price, I think this hotel is one of the best hotels in Bangkok.

Enjoyed the entire experience and very happy with the room, service and pricing. Good language skills employed and reflected in service. Carpet not as clean as it could have been bit not a big thing. Just needed a vacumming. All other services and requests for assistance well managed. Positive experience.

Bra läge vid Skytrainstation Nana. Bra frukostbuffé och lunchbuffé om man väljer att äta på hotellet.

Boka gärna i tornet, bättre rum som är relativt nyrustade. Bra hotel med de flesta faciliteter som är bra att ha, oberoende om resan gäller arbete eller nöje. Nära MTS'en som snabbt tar dig runt Bangkok.

El hotel por fuera esta muy bien, la recepcion es estupenda, las habitaciones estan muy bien, pero el hotel es muy antiguo, tiene muchos problemas y ellos lo saben. Cuando te quejas, contestan que lo van a arreglar, pero no lo hacen. Vi a varias personas quejandose de lo mismo, pero durante 3 dias lo estuvimos haciendo. Ejemplos: Las canerias tragan […] el agua muy lentamente, de tal forma que cuando te duchas el suelo del bano se inunda completamente. Al final el agua se va (despues de varias horas), pero dicen que es un problema conocido. es un hotel con muchos ruidos, ya que las paredes son muy finas y oyes practicamente todo lo de la habitacion de al lado (si estan haciendo sexo, que quieres que te diga). Many of the things was that the hotel was wrong... the hotel was not very clean ... but most important was the quality of the service ..!! it was so bad .. and the electric plug from the hotel. broke my electronics my product. and then the hotel had the nerve argues that i lying, that it was already broken before I arrived at the hotel. omg...

他の方のレビューにもあるように、駅からは確かに近いのですが、たとえば個人旅行でナナ駅からスーツケースを持ってホテルまで行こうとすると、かなり厳しいです。 ナナ駅にはエレベーターがなく、エスカレーターは上りしかないところを、約２階分降りてこないといけないのと、駅下には露店が店を出しているので荷物を持っての移動はしにくいです。 そういう移動を予定していないのであれば、駅も近いし、アクセスは抜群です。 私が泊まったのはプーケットから帰る途中の２泊だけでしたが、部屋からは建物の裏側のようなものしか見えず、最悪でした。ある程度の宿泊日数を予定している方は、どちら向きの部屋なのか事前に確認されたほうがよいかと思います。 部屋についていたセーフティーボックスとドライヤーは壊れていました。セーフティーボ […] ックスは電話でフロントに見てくれるように頼んだのですが、待てど暮らせど繰る気配がなく、催促の電話をかけても忙しいのか、一向につながらず、面倒臭くなってあきらめました。 ドライヤーはとにかくすぐに使えるものに換えてほしかったので、フロントまで乗り込んで直談判しました。それでも持ってきてくれるまで３０分くらいはかかりました。 結構ロビーなんかも立派でかなり大きなホテルなのですが、サービス面では従業員の数が足りないのか、ややお粗末な印象を受けました。 ホテルの目の前に「レインツリースパ」という雰囲気の良いスパがあります。料金もお手ごろでオススメです。 อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Bra hotell med ganska bra läge. Skytrain i närheten. Rena rum med AC. Bra gym dock utan AC. Jag kan tänka mig återvända.

Some rooms are a litle bit worn but in comparision with many other hotels the price (throu Hotels.com) are very good. I have used the hotel a few times by now and the service level are subject to who you meet and is not at constant high level.

Trevlig personal, bra bekvämligheter på nära håll. Stort hotell med bra pool och stort utbud på entréplan. Bo i TowerWing, för att vakna till Bangkoks stadssilhuett. Nära till Nana Skytrainstation som tar en snabbt runt i staden för en billig peng.

Good location, close to Sky Train, many restaurants around.
