Excellent location for access across road to beach. For 3* the rooms are ok although seperate toilet with no handbasin and shower curtain arrangement not good. Our problems included Staff surely and unhelpful generally. Restaurant rushed 3 courses p.m meal in an hour,will not serve near closing time & ran out of some simple ingrediants. Wake up call […] not made (so set own alarm). Charge for free internet & no wireless 4th floor+ and no wire available either. Lovely old Art Deco building Accor-ised, IE clean but without endearing quirks. You won't be able to use the tiny carpark unless you book when booking the hotel. You have to trawl the streets behind to get a place on the road. The balconmies in the front are of varied sizes - some aren't really balconies. In the back where we were the view is over […] someone's back garden and the car park. Staff ok but it's a Mercure - they don't do charm much. The people at breakfast stuffing what they could into handbags for lunch and getting there monies worth was interesting. Mostly French clientele and getting frustrated with the overworked waitresses. As with other Mercures which have taken over what were once 'significant' hotels, costs are cut - you feel like pointing this out to the breakfasters - if you want it like the old days - go to the Hermitage of Marie-Christine! Décor belle époque qui invite au voyage dans le temps, très sympa. Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Personnel disponible et agréable. Très bonnes prestations hôtelières (très propre) Restaurant de l'Hôtel très agréable et pratique, les plas sont délicieux. Avons passé un très agréable week end, région superbe, à visiter absolument....
