We absolutety loved it!!!! We will stay again in a couple months....

The room was dingy and old. Laid out bad. Didn't get what we reserved

We loved the staff. They were freindly and knowledgeable about specials. We have decided to come back to this hotel for all our family trips and even our honeymoon.

the air condition was too loud and the hotel was dated.

Hotel staff was awesome! Starbucks and restaurants onsite were great. Rooms a little worn-down as expected for age and location. WiFi stinks.

The ammenties at this "resort" were nice, but the room was not. It was musty and their was mildew inside a framed picture over the bed. Room was recently renovated but rusty pipes were exposed and the sink did not drain. Service was lacking. I arrived by myself with 2 small children. A few workers saw me struggling with the kids and the luggage and […] did not offer to help. I called ahead of time and requested a portable crib. I was told the portable cribs were brand new. When we arrived the crib was not in the room. I had to call twice and it took over an hour to get one. When it arrived it was obviously not new and in very poor condition. We really enjoyed our stay at the Long Bay Resort and the staff were friendly and helpful. I reserved an Ocean View room but got a room on the ground floor with no view unless I walked outside. The gentleman at the desk found me another room quickly and it was much better!

Very Clean, well situated and friendly staff.

I should have known we were in trouble when we couldn't pull our car into register.It all went downhill from there,walking up to the desk I was met by very unproffessional staff and not helpful at all . I was given a set of keys and a map and sent on our way.We were told our room was on the first floor so got on the elevator and pressed 1 no response […] we got off and followed the map which took us by a pool area and into a dark corridor with a thin dirty rug covering it. Mind you online it showed a beautiful resort with the ocean slapping the shoreline, the only slap I got was the condition of this room. The smell of the room was disgusting, we paid for an ocean FRONT room and recieved a dungeon view of tall dune grass and a hint of the ocean.We would not recommend this facility and turned around and returned the keys immediately and left Myrtle Beach. This was our first and prehaps only visit to this area.We are now awaiting to see if we will be refunded... We are so disappointed after traveling so far and anticipating a stay on the ocean,hopefully Myrtle Beach has more to offer than what we saw. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

I thought we were getting an ocean front room but it turned out to be an side ocean view. Other than that, stay was great.

My family and I stayed at this place. We booked an ocean view room but all we had a view of was the parking lot. Also they had some work done at the pool. It shut the pool down for 4 days... The smell was horrible!!!

We stayed twice in the past week when different family members were visiting. Great pool area for the kids...nice quiet beach. Friendly and helpful staff...the two and three bedroom rooms are very spacious and great for family trips!

My son and I stayed here November 2011, it was a great stay, everything was clean and neat, hotel staff were very friendly and very helpful. No problems what so ever. If I just had to put down some thing I would change, it would be the 50.00 deposit the hotel requires. Otherwise a great place to stay, loved the large flat screen TV and huge beds. This hotel met our expectations - great location and off-peak rates. The only negative is that restaurant is closed on Sunday nights.

Recent reviews weren't all 5's but I figured it would average out. I was was right. On-site restaurant appeared upscale but we didn't go there after looking at the fare and opted for the 2nd floor cafe. The neighborhood surprised me. I though it would be like Daytona, FL and we would have to dodge cars on A1A, but the hotel sits on a quiet street separated […] from other businesses by a very nice residential area. The Ocean Front room (great view) did not match floor plan (the room was smaller) but was adequate, well maintained and mostly clean (found an empty beer can under the edge of the bed). What I liked best about the room was it's lack of a musty or smokey smell. The heater/air conditioner with digital controls worked quietly without those annoying rattles and thumps you sometimes get. This is maybe the first time I've stayed where it didn't smell like they just changed the room the night before from smoking to non-smoking. The grounds and all pool areas were well maintained except one of the small SPAs in the middle of the lazy river area smelled bad. Another of the SPAs over by the inside kiddie pool was at it's upper temperature limit. Oh yes, the lazy river is heated and has a surprisingly fast current. I'm sure that if we had taken our grand kids, they wouldn't have wanted to leave this place. The outside temp was about 79 degrees which is at my lower limit of being acceptable to swim, but they would have loved all the water areas. Ocean temp was 72 which is about the warmest Lake Michigan gets but too cold for me. The boardwalk is several miles to the south but we didn't come here to shop for souvenirs, play games or go to the many attractions. We just wanted some quiet beach time. All the staff was friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed our stay. This hotel is better than most we've stay at in Daytona/Flagler, Florida. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

The hotel was in a great location on the beach. I had reserved an oceanfront room with 2 queen beds. Upon check-in I was told the room was not available, but I was being upgraded to a 3BR, 3BA condo for one night and then moving to a room with one king bed the next night. The condo was awesome; the king room - not so much. It had a kitchen (I did not […] want one), the bedroom did not have an ocean view, but was next to the parking lot. I had to share the bed with my daughter as opposed to having our own beds. You could not beat the location - I would definitely stay here again. nice pools and good rooms. parking situation isn't great. must be terrible during summertime. but all in all a very good hotel for the price

At check-in the lady at the concierge desk tried to make us go to a sales pitch meeting about timeshares. When I refused, she was quite annoyed. I don't consider that to be proper concierge service. Our room was supposed to be a two bedroom suite with kitchen and partial ocean view. The room was so damp that it smelled like a wet dog. The carpet was […] wet and our socks were soaked through. The kitchen floor was also damp, as well as all the bedding. We put in three complaints to the front desk. Nobody offoered to switch our room. They did promise to bring up a dehumidifier, (which they didn't). The grill from the a/c unit was broken off and just sitting on our tiny balcony. There was a huge dead bug on the floor. They put out cheap carpeting on the balcony which was also damp. Our view was of another part of the building, but if you craned your neck far enough, you could see some of the ocean. We did get to visit the Island Vista hotel and Marriot at Grand Dunes. They are more expensive hotels, but totally worth it. Stay away from Long Bay. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

The pool attendant was great. She made sure everyone had everything they needed and was very friendly and talked to the guests. She was constantly straightening the chairs and keeping the pool area clean. It was fun seeing her there all week.

The staff is accomodating. Pools cater to all ages. Our adult children enjoyed the cafe' overlooking the pool. Our grandchildren enjoyed the beach just off the pool area! Nice ocean view even from side rooms! We usually stay in my father's condo but there is more for the children at Long Bay!

Pros: good indoor and outdoor pool facility was good for kids but not very clean  Cons: very old hotel, mold around the tub, broken frizzer, smelly room and hallway ( you even cannot call it hallway it's off of the parking deck more like a motel) room service nock at your door at 9 am and after you tell them you are not ready for the room service they […] come back in half and hour and do the same thing (the sign that you hang on the door nob was missing) very bad mattresses, there was a coffee maker but if you want coffee you have to go and buy your own coffee and filter and cup to be able to make coffee. At first they gave us a room on the first floor which was on the ground level don't ever accept it. You park your car and your room is in front of you more like a cheap motels in the movies and then your view is a parking in the street with all noises and the porch is not even safe to use because people can walk to it. After we complained about some of our issues to the second floor for the next night and it wasn't any better except for the balcony. They offered us a VIP service which means brand new sheets to make us happy (the first room had hair in the bed sheets)  But it was a lie we know how a new sheet look like it wasn't new. And the wifi service was a disaster we had an iPad and two iPhones don't even waist your time to check your emails or google something.  อ่านเพิ่มเติม

We stayed here with our children (11yd & 5yd) at ease. Many families stayed with their children. If you are only adults group hoping a good mood, this hotel may not stay here. But this hotel is a good for us.

Long Beach Resort was overall a very good place to vacation. The pools, access to the beach, lazy pool, poolside cafe, location and late access hours made the experience even better!

spa was a little cold, but otherwise a great stay! limited parking though.

This hotel was a great place. The amenities were great (i.e. Starbucks etc.) BUT the waitress at the hotel restaurant was awful. She was miserable, gave us attitudes, made us feel unwelcome. She actually argued with us making us feel that we were wrong!!! Otherwise, this was a great place!!

We booked this hotel because we went to our son's soccer tournament and the team had a lot of fun going to the indoor pool (lazy river) after the games. Overall the hotel was great, especially the pool/ sauna area and location. Kids can have fun!! The breakfast buffet was very affordable and very good!!!

The long bay resort meet our expectations. I would recommend this place to others. It a great place for families with kids. had to call maintenance once but it was just to fix the DVD player overall a nice, friendly place to stay.

I enjoyed my stay. I prefer inclosed rooms rather than those that open up to the outside. My room was 1st floor, under the stairwell, bottom parking garage. It was pretty quite though. The room was huge. I'd stay again. Service was fast when I requested something. Friendly folks.

Stayed here in May. Pools were all open and nice. Not crowded. Rooms clean and quiet. Really no complaints. Will return again.

The hotel is a little outdated: old bed covers, curtains, carpet, kitchen cabinets. Kitchen has a microwave, toaster & coffee maker, but you need to bring your own coffee. However, there's a Starbucks in the hotel lobby. Also, the hotel only provides one little soap and one little shampoo bottle in a two-bedroom efficiency. If you want to see the ocean, […] get a oceanFRONT room. You can only see the ocean from north and southside oceanVIEW rooms if you lean over the balcony to look out. Other than that you only see the hotel next door. There was a lot of noise from upstairs and the hallway, especially the ice-machine. Several nice ammenities indoor pool, outdoor pool, on the beach.....However if you want a room with an ocean view, make sure you ask if it has an ocean view.

It was dirty, old and unclean. My sliding glass door opened to a parking lot and the lock was broke. Felt scuzzy.

Our stay was really nice and a great value for a 10th floor ocean front room. The view was amazing and the atmosphere of the hotel and surrounding area was friendly and laid back. I only had 2 problems with our stay 1. the bathroom paper is rough... bring your own! 2. my bed was old and lumpy... I mean could hear the springs pop when I laid down.

First in foremost, I hotel was extremely great for the price. It was a very clean hotel. I definitely would recommend staying there if your look for a cheap nice resort. The pools, spas, and saunas were amazing. I would most definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for a long weekend. Excellent, easy going place. Absolutely no hassles. Easy professional ck in. Good location, nice ammenities, just good across the board. The only downside was the pillows in the room. ready......too soft! That's it.

I was on the way to Florida for a vacation to watch spring training. The Hotel was very nice and my room was exceptional. I do not work for the hotel and truly try to spend my travel dollars carefully. I would stay here again, and would recommend to anyone, kids would like it I'm sure.

I got a great rate since it is the off-season. Not a fancy room, but it was oceanfront with a balcony... gorgeous. Great pool/spa areas and plenty of options for dining. Great friendly staff. Can't wait to go back :)
