Beautiful building, needs some money spent on the detail. Single rooms no air conditioning (32 degrees) had to pay to upgrade showers awful either to hot or too cold and sprays up as well as down and outwards. Furniture in room scruffy. room not clean. Only saw one member of staff. The hotel is very isolated and on steep hill. Was told 10 min from Ciampino […] but in reality a 40 euro trip. Bar closed in hotel but they did offer to serve me. Shuttle bus free to town and station. No water tea or coffee in the room. TV size of laptop and windows would not close.The nearby town of Frascati is a sleepy place although it was a Monday. Fantastic local train service very cost effective. Would not stay there again would rather pay more and stop in a larger town. By the time you take taxi costs into account its about the same but you will find it much more interesting. I would say you really need to have a car to stay at this place. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Pros: in a beautiful location on the hills above Frascati. There is plenty of room to walk and relax and everything was very clean and in good order. I found the staff very pleasant, but not every person in the group I traveled with felt the same. I found that most others frustration stemmed from a communication barrier. Cons: my bed was quite hard, […] I wasn't sure what to expect, but it could have been a bit cozier. Still, I wasn't miserable. I was also fairly upset that the morning I went down for breakfast just hoping for a cup of coffee I had to pay the charge for a full breakfast just because I sat down at a table with friends. Our room had no Air Conditioning (fortunately, it was not needed) and was quite small. As we checked out, the person at the desk advised that large events took up most of the rooms. "Another villa past its prime"

The hotel seems geared for conferences and little else. Service was poor. It is situated at the top of the hill behind Frascati. If you don't have transport (like we didn't), It is a 10-15 minute walk down the hill, but I wouldn't recommend walking back up the hill. The hotel offers free pickup and dropoff to/from the train station on arrival […] and departure, but not during your stay. They will collect you/drop you off at other times for a fee - but not after 11pm (as we discovered after the fact). The few taxis in Frascati don't operate in the evenings and we were forced to walk back up the hill in the dark on roads not made for pedestrians. "Very frustrating trip"

The hotel is a beautiful 16th century villa set in lovely grounds in the hills above Frascati. So far so good. The problem is the place doesn't really run as a hotel but more a conference / wedding centre. We arrived on Sat and were told we couldn't eat in the hotel nor even was the bar accessible. After complaining we were told that we could have […] a drink but this didn't materialise since the barman was too busy dealing with the many people at some cycling function. The pool is a green slime pit and the hotel is quite a way out of Frascati so there aren't any alternatives. In our case the situation is compounded since I have an injured foot and limited mobility. The hotel runs a shuttle bus but will try to charge €5 per person per trip. The next day we managed to book an evening meal but even this was strange as we were placed in a separate room with just one other family who presumably were in the same predicament as us. It was odd rather than luxurious. Consequently we felt we didn't belong and like second-class guests. And for a luxury hotel this isn't what you want. We left early after two days of this. The place is potentially wonderful but the management need to decide whether they want to run a conference centre, in which case don't take ad hoc guests, or a normal hotel, in which case behave like one. Schade war nur, dass der Wellnessbereich durch externe Gäste ausgebucht war, und somit Hotelgäste nicht in den Genuss kommen konnten.

C'è da sottolineare che l'Hotel si è dotato di una bella SPA ma che l'ingresso è a pagamente anche nelle zone relax, idromassaggio e piscina coperta...mi sembra eccessivo!!
