there was a problem with electricity one night. everything else - good. btw, wrong door side in the shower... can't open water without step in to shower...

Great location. My only issue was with the size of the bathroom. You could not sit down on the toilet without the door hitting you on the knees. The restaurant was great and the room was quiet and comfortable except for the bathroom.

Ruby at the front desk is warm and kind. The lobby is inviting and nicely decorated! The rooms have new king mattresses that are heaven. Beautiful high count percale sheets. Lots of friendly staff. This hotel is located next to the Buffalo Thunder Resort and Casino and is by far the better of the two! Very clean, beautiful rooms! A bit outside of Santa Fe but everything else was great. Internet went down but I will not blame them on one issue. WIFI is only in lobby. I would expand that to whole hotel.

I would like to thank the desk Manager on duty - JODY for being great. Had very good customer service skills and was very pleasant at check-in and check out.

If you go to Santa Fe for the Opera in the summer it's a great location.

We only stayed one nice but it was a nice room.

This is a very nice and comfortable hotel. The rooms are big and clean. It is located north of Santa Fe, we were going to the opera so the location was great, but if your interest is just visiting the city the location could be inconvenient. This is a great location if you want to shop the Santa Fe Flea Market or go to the opera. It is very convenient, and the traffic is much less in each direction.

I love staying here. The rooms are great and the staff helpful. They have a great breakfast and light dinner Mon-Thur. The rooms are large and comfortable. I stay here as often as I can.

Loved the resort. It is a wonderful facility for the price. Very reasonable. Only complaint was the dsistance to Santa Fe plaza area. The Hilton cascino next door was beautiful; however, like most cascinos, allows smoking. Too bad because everything else is so nice.

The hotel personal is berry helpful the hotel it self is a nice and clean , it was nice to be there and get away from a all.

Five (3 adults and 2 teens) of us found the 2 bedroom suite most comfortable. We were in Santa Fe for the beginning of the opera season. In the past we stayed right in Santa Fe, but this year we needed a 2 bedroom suite, and found the Hilton Thunder Road Spa (HomewoodSujites) the most accomodating. Once we got over the shock of how far out of town it was, and the 20 minute commute (each way) back and forth to Santa Fe, we loved it. The rooms are fabulous. Was very quiet. Good parking and access. Liked the sunny, roomy lobby area for breakfast, but didn't like them running out of silverware, and having to use plastic. When booked, room advertised as having WiFi, turned out, it DID NOT. There was wired internet. Just would have liked to do paperwork in the big comfy bed instead of sitting at the desk. Check-In was smooth. Room was quite comfortable. Nice and quiet. Pricey, but daily hot breakfast and M-Th evening snacks & beverages, made up for the price.

I've stayed at this property few times before but the first time in one of the CASITAS. The studio wasn't as "roomy" as the other rooms in the main hotel building and the Wi-Fi didn't work, but on the whole, another great stay. Safe parking lots, helpful staff.

Great customer service at check-in. Very comfortable and huge room. Perfect for business travel. Hot buffet breakfast in AM. Dinner provided M-F. Great deal. Home away from home. However, this property is next to a large casino, and there were loud and intoxicated people who have lost money at the table games coming in and going out all night.

This beautiful hotel is on the north side of Santa Fe by the Buffalo Thunder Resort - walking distance. The views from the hotel are wonderful, the room was large, and it is very quiet. The breakfast is good and they provide a free continental meal in the evening.

This was a typical Homewood, a bit newer. For me that means nice, clean, good rooms, etc. The problems we had should be addressed. We were near stairs and the doors SLAM. I know sounds can depend on guests, but really, doors should be padded and correctly tensioned to close much more quietly. Hotel said they are trying, but Google won't fix it (?!?!?!) We wanted to go to a movie, but it was a 20 minute drive to the closest. Wanted a restaurant NOT in a casino...20 minutes for most of them. Dinner there was canned ravioli....seriously disappointed there. Sides were good and breakfast too so they could step that up and fix it. Internet was clocked by speedtest.net at 20kB/s download. We were originally booked for 3 nights, but were having such a great time we extended our stay another night. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The suite was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. We plan on staying here on our next visit. Our only complaints were that the breakfast, although plentiful, was not very tasty and we chose […] to cook breakfast in our suite for the remainder of the stay. The kitchen was quite adequate with a large refrigerator, however the cooking & dining supplies were limited and we were surprised to find no wine glasses - drinking from water glasses leaves something to be desired. Had trouble with directions to the hotel - it is too new to be in our GPS. The exit off the highway is Buffalo Thunder ROAD (while the hotel directions are on Buffalo Thunder Trail). The map on the hotel page shows that the hotel is off of the Viarrial exit (which is one exit north and takes you to a mobile home park). A call to Hotels.com took care […] of the problem. The room was in a separate 2-story casita behind the lobby with only 8 rooms, was HUGE, new, beautifully decorated, a full studio apartment, great rate, next to the restaurants and casino at the Hilton Hotel and 15 minutes from old downtown Santa Fe. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've experienced. We look forward to visiting Santa Fe again and taking advantage of this great hotel. Spacious, beautifully furnished, with lots of extras. Friendly staff. Very clean. A little out of town, but we enjoyed vista. Only drawback - no bathtub in the king studio.

Convenient to downtown Santa Fe and surrounding areas. Pleasant views. Nice and quiet.

Everything was great. We arrived late and the front desk was very helpful and nice. The hotel is secured after hours and I felt very safe. Parking lot is well lit and has a good amount of parking available. The room was very clean and the beds were extrememly comfortable. Hot breakfast was included and my family loved it. Very nice hotel located near the Buffalo Thunder Resort and Casino. Only drawback is that it is so far from attractions in Santa Fe.
