Robinhood Resort - บิกแบร์เลก

Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. An older resort, it may not have all the amenities some people desire, but It;s in the heart of the village and close to everything.

Hotel has large rooms, and it's in a great location. Walking distance to the village, with lots of great dining and shopping. Only complaint, and its a big one for business people, was the WIFI didn't work.

good location,but the room is dark and the linen are old. you get what you pay for.

I had the hebbiejenbies. Hair in the bed, very old beddings. Gave me the creeps. I had them up grade me from the first room they put us in. Had to pay 20 dollars for an up grade. The man at the front desk was grumpy.

We got upgraded to a suite since all the standard rooms were taken and I was really impressed by the cleanliness of the room. It had the bathtub and fireplace. We used the fireplaced and it gave the room a very cozy feeling! Located close to the city center. Great access to all shops and restaurants. Enjoyed the stay.

Too expensive for one room that had no fridge or microwave, laminate from bathroom was stapled to the ground. Over all it was way expensive for a bare minimum room!!!!!!

Ok, the place isn't the Ritz, but its the mountains and that alone says that there is some roughness...I loved the room. It had a TV, Coffee, and a refrigerator. I was so happy with our stay at this hotel! The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff was RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME! Also, the restaurant is amazing and you get a discount for staying there!

Simple decorations and fixtures great value for money through this website versus the listed price. Friendly staff with lots of off street parking.

We enjoyed our stay in December 2011. The room was comfortable and it was walking distance from the village and across the street from a convenience store. Will definitely stay here in the future. Next time we might upgrade our room!!!

You cross the street and you are right in The Village. Great location for those who go to Snow Summit and want to see a little more of what Big Bear has to offer.

This hotel is not luxurious, but it is nice, & the hotel staff & restaurant staff are friendly & helpful. It is located in the village, close to the lakefront & easy to walk to the JazzTrax venue on the lake. The bar upstairs has a friendly happy hour & decent food.

Picked location from a drive to Vegas as we could see snow on the horizon. What a pleasant supize!!! Great little city sorrounding a lake and green lush surounding county. Charlie and his family run a great hotel the accomadations and the location were perfect. Once I parked I could walk to everything I needed to get to Restaurants, Bars, and shops. There are events at the location that can keep the evenings entertaining.

Basic rooms but comfortable. Excellent location and friendly staff.

Had room # checked in and went back could not open door, had to change to room next door. Put T.V. on in new room only 1 channel maintenance came and changed T.V. still did not work finally got a T.V. to work channels fuzzy Bed uncomfortable and dog hairs on it room not aired out stuffy. Unhappy that priced paid could have got a better room in town

I loved this place! The room was like being in a very nice huge bedroom. Very homey feel and comfortable. The service was outstanding and I would go back again. The restaurant was great too. The decor was nice and we had a lake view.

Hotel is in a great location between the lake and all of the shops and restaurants. My family's big gripe was the condition of the beds. The mattresses were uncomfortable and the bedspreads and pillow shams needed washing. We liked the in-room fireplace.

For the price, it was exactly what I would expect. The room was okay- small room , thin walls (would recommend ear plugs if you're at all a light sleeper). Perfect location in the Village. Walking distance to good restaurants, bars, and movie theaters. The rooms are not very good, but I guess it depends on the building you're in. My understanding is that they have a newer building with nicer rooms. We stayed in the Wishing Well building. Our room was just ok. The beds and towels were a bit scary. Room was a little small for 3 people, but we made it work. Overall, good experience.

The staff is very nice and helpful which goes a long way when traveling with a family and in snow! While I recognize that the timeframe in which we visited was the peak season (and we booked last minute) I felt that the rate was very high. However, I don't know if there is anything that would be considered well priced in Big Bear during the top 2 weeks […] of the year (last 2 weeks in December). We had a "spa" room and it certainly was that, with an oversized spa in the room, taking up more space than I would have liked. The sofa sleeper was supposed to be a double but it was actually a single. The mattresses where worn/uncomfortable. The fireplace and heating system was semi-disfunctional. I know this all sounds bad, but it really wasn't... we had a wonderful time and would stay there again. The room was clean and that is very important to me. First off, this is a motel, not a lodge. They held us off of checking in for a full half-hour. That was not cool. If you enjoy the motel experience, this place fits the bill. The paper thin walls and the choking blanket of musty air bellowing from the wall furnace were nice touches. Other than that, great location and overpriced for the winter season, but hey, it's all about supply and demand. This is a satisfactory hotel in the center of town at a fair price, 3 out of 5 stars seems about right for the overall rating. Very limited TV reception but very strong WiFi reception.

The stay was alright, the room we got was actually nice for the price however, if you were to stay here, it's better just to upgrade to the more luxurious rooms for the resort. No free breakfast, but there is a breakfast cafe,however my girlfriend and I did not visit the cafe and ended up going to Starbucks down the street. The only problem with the room was its TV. The TV itself was messed up in picture quality and made annoying sounds. These problems made watching TV very difficult. It was AWFUL! This room was not attached to the main hotel. It was in a back lot. Not one improvement had been done to this room since it was built and I think that must have been in the 50's. Water dripped, shower leaked, next to a noisy ice machine, people above never slept, carpet was gross, front door was cracked and peeling paint, etc, etc. The […] only thing good about this hotel was the location and the friendly desk clerk. Hotel was beautiful, except for the building behind it, which is where we got stuck. It looks like Robinhood resort bought another hotel that had been closed down and reopened it. Beware! Request any room but the ones in this buliding!!

This hotel have 3 stars rating, but they are very small stars if your room is in the Wishing Well part of the hotel.

The hotel is in a great location. It is right in the village. The hotel is dated like most hotels in the area. I would stay there again.

Todo muy bien con el hotel, sin embargo comento que saliendo de la habitación hay un espacio cubierto con zacate artificial que por el color oculta que puede (como de hecho tuvo) hielo lo cual lo hace muy resbaladizo; en mi estancia sufrí un esguince en el tobillo y adios esquiada, creo que es una tema de señalamiento, gcs
