Stay was great---close to Beach---Close to Harry's Bar----Close to Pool Hall-----Close to Guiseppe's (Itlaian Rest)-----Motorcyles are safe----Little indoor swimming pool

I was pleasantly surprised with the staff and my amenities. It was not the Taj Mahal but the price was right. Very clean. The beach was very close. Management is very concerned with noise after 10 PM and there was none. I slept through the nite and saved $178 over where my convention was being held. Would stay there again!!

I was very dissatisfied . I reserved a room with a kitchenette but that is not what I received.The first room I was given had a pizza box with some leftover pizza in it. One of the beds had been slept in , it was unmade. I went down to the office and informed them how I had found the room. He (the man behind the desk) gave me another room. I asked him […] did that room have a kitchenette, he said no. I informed that is what I reserved. He said he would check if it was available, then proceeded to tell me it was empty but, it was dirty. He said did I really need it, because he did not have anyone to clean it. I told him yes I did need it & that is what I reserved. He said to come back in 15 minutes.When I came back down he was not there.After a while I went down to talk to him,then he just repeated that he had no one to clean it . By then I already was frustrated because I had made several trips down to the office in the rain. My children were hungry and I was tired so I just settled into the second room I was given. After several trips down to the office to use the microwave to make some hot dogs and easy mac for my children I called it a night. I really wish I would have been able to get the room with the kitchenette. It was my daughters 5th birthday & I had some family members from Marysville meet us there. The clerk was rude.. Went to our room and we couldn't unlock the door with the key they gave us.. It was the right key, it was just difficult.. We were afraid to leave the room cause we didn't know if we could get in... In the middle of the night the pilot of our heater shut off. Went to the front office & it was locked, no one was around.. Although the Ocean Breeze is located in a great location, close to the beach., we found the location not worth the poor conditions. The bedss were horrible with springs poking through the mattress, the desk clerk was grumpy and less than accomidating. The kitchette was lacking many nesseccary items such as pots, pot holders etc.. Front office /register desk employees and maid service were very hospitable and accommodating. The hotel is old and in need of repairs and renovation. My recent stay in this hotel was the worst I have ever had.The staff was completely rude, rooms were very nasty and after check out they decided to charge my credit card 100.00 cuz they stated something was missing from my room which was bull. The beds were very stained, and when I asked for an extra blanket the lady at the front desk was very rude […] and acted as if it was my fault her hotel was filthy and nobody wanted to use there comforters. All in all it's a very acceptable room. The one thing I would recomend is to change the room heater. It distributes the heat very uneavenly causing one side of the bed and room to be terribly hot.

Check in not til 3pm. Basic accomodations. No air conditioning. One of the TVs did not work. Two TVs only one controller.

This was the last stop on an 1800 mile, 9 day holiday trip. We stayed in 4 different hotels all over the state. We were treated very rudely upon arrival. It was close to every thing we needed for the night. The service is fine, the parking lot isn't large enough for all, but there is some street parking. The room was crowded ( microwave was on top of a small very old refrigerator and TV was on a small desk.) This motel needs a complete rennovation. The parking is inadequate, the interior and exterior need fresh paint, the bathrooms....well, just don't use it for anything more than the necessity unless you can withstand freezing to scalding changes in shower temps. Everything was great except for the grouchy old boy working the front desk - poor guy needs to take an 'anti-rudeness training' - on the other hand the maid was very sweet and helpful - she got a tip!

The room was dark and dirty looking. Also, the people in the next room made too much noise. we could not sleep well, and the noise went on for 2 days. It is not a comfortable place to stay. Will not stay there again.

My niece chose this place, probably because of location and price. I have stayed in Pismo Beach a couple of times in very nice places. The $15. - $20. Savings was just not worth it! The place is very old and built very poorly. The walls are so thin it sounds like your neighbors are in your room. Fortunately they were closed by the time we went to bed. But, the noise level during the day is barely tolerable. The worst thing was the management. I was there with other family members and we all stayed a couple of days. They screwed up the rooms. Then, they wanted to make extra charges because they gave someone a King size bed. No one asked for such a room and there was apparently no other available, but rather than say “sorry, this is all we got” they charged extra. But, it wasn’t just the extra charges, the guy put it on us that we were trying to rip him off! It was his mistake but he tried to blame us. He had totally bad behavior and attitude. We were disappointed in this motel- our room didn't resemble the one shown in your listing. Evidently they are in the process of remodeling and ours hadn't been done yet. Small room, mismatched furniture, no children's programming, freezing "heated" indoor pool and dour manager will more than likely keep us from staying here again.

We stayed with our teens. We had a great time in Pismo. The location was great for the price. I would stay there again...

The people that i spoke with to check in came off rude to me, they did not seem concerned to provide me with the best stay possible. Granted the room was clean but it was also tiny, didnt have a closet and not air conditioning unit or fan which made the room feel stuffy. The pool was also out of order and this was my main reason for booking with hotle […] was the advertisment for an indoor heated pool!!! then when i want to use it, it is out of order, nothing was done to comp me or make up for this, I was not even given a notice that the pool was out of order! Other guest were upset about this as well, as parents took their children to the pool only to be disappointed as I was. I want to thank Hotel.com for allowing reviews posted. I wish I read reviews before making reservations. Satisfied with Hotel.com will use again. pros: walking distance to beach, pier and restaurants Staff friendly (however not necessarily helpful) cons: Room filthy, under bed found debris/trash that looked like it's been there for some time. the customer service was poor, the rooms were small and the walls very thin. police had to be called out due to a noise disturbance. no A/C and poor ventgilation. the only good thing about this hotel was its convienient location!

The ONLY thing Ocean Breeze Inn has going for it is its location BUT you have other choice properties with equally good or better location/views. I travel for a living and keep a realistic perspective on what to expect. Ocean Breeze Inn did not meet even my lowest of expectations. I would NEVER stay at this property at ANY price! I liked the handicap room we were in-spacious. THe location was great. I did have to call the office because we arrived late and no one was there. Ed was very helpful.

room was nice and a two minute walk tho the beach

This is a gem! Just a block from the beach and beautiful sunsets! Also you can walk to just about ANY kinds of 'eats' that you're craving. We recommend Mr. Wongs - exceptional eggrolls and Mrs. Wong is a sweetheart! This is a sweet spot, to park your car and take some walkabouts! You'll come back again!

Check in and out was fast and easy.The room on the other hand was a different story. Ther pillows and covers had stains. Its had a musky scent when you walked in. It was super cold, too. I guess in this case you get what you pay for. BTW if u take a steamy shower the smoke detector will go off!

The Inn is located less than a block from the waterfront, on a quiet street, and a block from shops, restaurants, the pier, etc. The property is well maintained & cared for. Our room was simple, not spacious, but it is clear the owners have taken pains to decorate rooms nicely. The room is older you can tell when you open the door. However, it was very clean and has an excellent location for the beach and less than a block from "Splash Cafe" known for its clam chowder. They also had an indoor pool which was great since we were there during the off season. Still was great walking on the beach. Well the hotel was no Holiday Inn but it work as we wanted to be able to have fun drinking at Harrys and walk back to the hotel. It was close enough to splash and we did not have to fight for parking. LOCATION is what it was all about for us..

The only postive about this motel is the place. It is near the Ocean. Person at the service desk was very UNFRIENDLY. You pay much for what it is.

The room was very hot with no AC or fans. The windows had no screens,so we couldn't open the windows at night to get some fresh air at night.
