Hotel Icaria Barcelona - บาร์เซโลนา

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel even though I was only there one night. The best part about the hotel was the staff. Everyone was so helpful to make sure that my stay was comfortable and to help me easily find places of interest. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Hotel was fine and close to beaches but a long walk to the sites. Serive and conditions were fine but the neighborhood is listless.

Fine hotel good location

The staff were very friendly and professional. The location is close to the Olympic Port, casino, Shopping at Diagonal Mar, and the Sagrada Familia.

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay in this hotel. The staff were excellent and the rooms very clean and comfortable. For our party the location was excellent, a very quite area close to the seafront but with easy access to the city centre and all the attractions.

I stayed at hotel Icaria for 6 nights. It is a very nice hotel. Breakfast is good and late night restaurant very good for business travels. The room was clean and when cleaned done well, one day however my room was not cleaned, for some reason. Room for improvement there. Internet connection is free and easy to access. However, often it was hardly usable […] because how slow it was. I guess it is related to limited bandwith of hotel, or something like that. Well situated, short taxi drive to Rambla, Sagrada Familia and CCIB conference center. Short walking distance to the beach. Found no good restaurants near hotel, but that was ok for me. I casn't say enough. Very clean moern rooms with large bathrooms. Very comfortable. Be sure to include the spectacular breakfast in your room rate very well worth it. The staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful and courtious. I can't say enough good about this hotel. If you are looking for a nice place close to all transportation including the hop on hop off bus, great restaurants, beaches, Marinas and ports this is perfect. Hotel fine, there for three nights and tea/coffee never replenished and no milk pots or sachets at all., otherwise ok.

Great hotel, very comfortable and clean, less than 5 min walk from beach and 10 min from metro, bus stop to city centre is also right outside the hotel Sweeeeetttttt!!!!

Good for a few nights - very clean and modern, close to beaches with easy bus to downtown and inexpensive taxi from cruise ships. Staff very helpful. Quieter than staying downtown and felt very safe. Not much in area for shopping but only15 min away from the Ramblas. We had booked and paid for a triple room, but were only given a double because they were out of triple rooms. They did not refund the difference. Our bathroom smelt like sewage and the smell was clearly coming out of the drains. All the staff did was spray stuff and it did not help. This is an excellent hotel only a few blocks from the beach. Very modern, swimming pool, absolutely lovely. Would stay here again.

Covenient for the lovely beach with bars and facilities needed for a day on the beach. Hotel receptionists very helpful, breakfast had all you needed to start the day. Outside area and swimming pool had the sun all day. Room wasn't huge, but adequate and clean. It was nice to be able to access the internet for free too. On bus routes to get you anywhere […] in Barcelona. Very good regular service, bus maps at all stops. We got public transport to our first hotel and paid less than 10 Euros for a 10 journey ticket which ended up lasting our whole trip, saved loads. The service at this hotel was truly excellent. The front desk staff was so very helpful. Very close to the bus line and within walking distance of the zoo and beach. Would highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel as a lower-cost option to staying at the very expensive bigger hotel just up the road, for a conference. It was literally a quarter of the price, but way better than a quarter of the value! The Icaria is located in a quite mainly residential neighbourhood and the area feels very safe. Taxis pass regularly if you need to get anywhere […] distant. The really nice beach is just two blocks away, a five minute stroll. A large choice of varied restaurants is a minute or two further around the port. The restaurants are aimed at large volumes of people, tourist-focused, but my experience is that the food is pretty good though a little expensive. Central Barcelona is a 5-10 minute ten Euro taxi ride away, or a long walk (I did it there and back, so entirely possible if you have the time and inclination!). The city is where you'll find the great shopping, huge number and variety of restaurants with a similar variety of quality and prices. Back to the hotel - it's moderately laid-back and has few staff. The breakfast is nothing special but equally I have no complaints - constant choice of hot or cold food, juice and coffee from machines. If you expect a banquet of fresh fruit, chefs cooking to order, and waitresses rushing around to serve you... you'll be disappointed! And if you're used to the typical 'good' breakfast in a UK hotel you'll think this is great. I didn't use the hotel bar (in a quiet central courtyard), but it looked pleasant enough if you want quiet. I didn't eat an evening meal but friends who did said they were impressed. Neither did I use the gym or the pool, but all looked pretty good. The rooms were adequate size, clean, comfortable, nice bathroom with big shower. Free internet was a bonus - our colleagues at the main conference hotel were charged 25 Euros per day... so we also saved another hundred euros on that! This hotel was centrally located with bus connection right outside and close to metro so you can get anywhere. The staff was very helpful. The room was very comfortable and a good size by european standards. This hotel did not really look like a hotel at first. It actually looked like a corporate bldg and is in an industrial area. The toilet was a little dirty, but someone came and cleaned it after I called the front desk. The room looked very modern and different. I would have to say the location is the best as it is about a 5-8 min walk to the beach, […] and literally a one minute walk to the bus stop that can take you to the popular Ramblas, or the airport with a cost less than 10 euro per person. There is not too much in the general area, but that made it feel safer. We walked about 15min to the port restaurant/bar area where all the night life was which was quite nice. I was only at this hotel one night before a business meeting but I found the rooms excellent, the bathrooms wonderful and service at the front desk attentive. The hotel was a short walk from the water and a group of sea side restaurants.

Sijainti 200 m rannasta. 200 m kauppakeskukseen. 400 m metrolle. 45 min kävelyineen Camp Nou:lle. Näppärä metroyhteys la Ramblalle. Lentokentältä täksilla alle […] 30 eur. Vi reagerte på at møblene på rommet var så slitt. Ellers var hotellet bra. - for at det ligger i trafikkert gate . Nærheten til stranda er bra.

hyvä hotelli rauhallisella paikalla. lyhyt matka rannalle. helppo ja halpa mennä taksilla tai bussilla keskustaan. hyvätasoinen aamiainen. suosittelen.

Buen hotel, buena atencion al público, al lado de una parada de bus que te deja en el centro, a 8 minutos de la parada de metro (villa oplimpica), buen desayuno. Si lo encuentras en oferta, no te lo pienses

Rigtig dejligt hotel og god betjening af personalet , som var venlige og imøde-kommende. Pænt og rent overalt. Dejlig morgenmad. Hotellet ligger tæt på byen i et stille område. Bussen holder lige udenfor døren, så det er nemt at komme rundt. Vi vil klart vende tilbage, hvis turen igen skulle gå til Barcelona.

Acceuil nickel hôtesse très agréable, chambre spacieuse , buffet déjeuner très biens, accès internet gratuit. manque un coin enfant ou ils peuvent jouer

Udmærket hotel med de mest nødvendige faciliteter. God pool og udendørs opvarmet spa. Morgenbuffet'en er udmærket til prisen men ikke verdens mest sensationelle oplevelse. Hotellets beliggenhed er perfekt i forhold til centrum og den olympiske havn. Væk fra centrums larm men ikke længere væk end to stop med metroen.

Situation OK, proche de tous les transports et à quelques mètres de la plage. Par contre, assez bruyant. Bon petit déjeuner.

negative:pool,jacuzi und gym werden bereits um 21:00 dichtgemacht-das geht natürlichgarnicht wenn man die stadt besichtigt, essen geht etc. die zimmer zur strasse sind sehr laut kleines,absurdes detail-lift und strom im zimmer gehen nur mit zimmerkarte-und gerne auch mal nicht!also, für leute mit angst im aufzug-lieber die treppen nutzen! der kaffee […] beim frühstück ist eine zumutung! unbedingt "RICHTIGE" milch verlangen! und spanisch frühstücken!bacon und eggs gehören eben nicht hierher, also lieber finger davon. positive: alles andere! service war super! personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit.lage ist gut, 2 busse direkt vor der tür, u-bahn 10min weg, zum strand sind es auch 10 min.in unmittelbarer umgebung ein supermarkt(im einkaufszentrum) und ein sehr guter bäcker! อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Allt var fantastiskt bra, det är det bästa hotell jag har bott på någonsin. Trevlig, hjälpsam personal, snyggt och rent överallt, trevlig och god frukostbuffé, fräscht poolområde, bra läge för att gå till stranden, restauranger, bussar till centrum m.m. Ett meget bra hotel, vi stor trivdes med meget god frokost, basseng. Rommene var rene og fine, er du i god form er det 30 min å gå inn til ramlan, eller 7 til euro med drosje, metro 10 min å gå, buss rett utenfor døra, sightseeing bussen går rett utenfor og. Anbefales.

Sentralt og flott hotell som kan anbefales til alle. God frokost

Hotellet ligger bara några minuters promenad från strand och erbjuder fina morgonturer längs med strandpromenaden och kvällar i solnedgång på stranden. Det tar ca 30 in till port vell, men bussarna som går utanför kör ofta och gör det lätt att ta sig till hamnen, ramblan eller andra delar av city. Vi bodde på Icaria 9-11 oktober etter et cruise. Hotellet har flott beliggenhet, med kun minutter å gå til stranden og et vell av restauranter. Buss til sentrum går like utenfor døren, og det er ca. 5 minutter å gå til de tre nærmeste metro-stasjonene. Hotellet er forholdsvis nytt, og selv om det var noen små tegn til slitasje var rommene store og flotte. Pluss: - […] Knallgod service fra betjeningen i resepsjonen - Bra størrelse på rommet (trippelrom) - Veldig bra frokostbuffet - Svømmebasseng x 2, ett lite som er litt varmere enn det andre - Treningssal - Aircondition på rommet - Nær strand, restauranter og kollektivtransport - Gangavstand til severdigheter som zoo, La Sagrada Familia m.m. - Hyggelige priser i restauranten Minus: - Ikke dyne i sengene, kun laken"pose" og fleecetepper (vi spurte ikke etter dyner) - Litt slitasje (løst dolokk, takplate skranglet når airconditionen var på) - Litt lytt på rommet ved lyder innenfra, men vi hørte lite til trafikken utenfor. Veldig godt fornøyd med det meste. Beligghenheten til stranden var genial med kun 5 min gange. I tillegg var turist-buss stoppet rett i nærheten. Rutebuss stopp ved hotellet til Plaça de Catalunya tok ca 15 min med avgang hvert 10 min. Et lite tips. Rett bak hotellet er det sykkeleie til 12 euro pr dag. Hotelli ja huone olivat erittäin siistejä. Tosin huoneessa oli muutama yksityiskohta jotka olivat huonossa kunnossa ja vaativat korjaustoimenpiteitä viikon aikana, esim kylppärin hana oli irti ja ilmastointi piti kolinaa sekä ikkunan tiivisteet repsottivat eikä kunnolla sulkeutunut, niin aamuruuhkan kuuli huoneeseen. Allasalue oli mukava ja suosittu […] päiväaikaan. Hotellin sijainti oli hyvä ja kulkuyhteydet hotellilta erittäin hyvät. Käytimme kaikkia kolmea bussilinjaa jotka menivät hotellin vierestä ( bussit 14 ja 41 eri kautta Catalonia aukiolle ja 92 Park Guelliin) ja metrolle oli matkaa arviolta 600-700 metriä. Uimarannalle oli noin viiden minuutin kävelymatka. Aamupala oli eurooppalaiseen tasoon nähden erittäin hyvä ja jopa Suomen hotellien aamupaloihin nähden samaa tasoa. Yleisesti ottaen hotelli oli todella siisti mutta hotellin ikä näkyi osittain kalusteissa yms. Hotellin lähistöllä oli useita ruokaravintoloita, kauppakeskus ja sporttibaarikin löytyi.
