The staff are very nice and courteous. The rooms and other areas of the hotel are clean. The gym and sauna are nice. However, I expected a bit more being a repeat customer (my fourth time in the hotel!) and I also booked 4 other rooms apart from mine. At the very least they could have given me a nicer room rather than the one that I had the last time. […] The windows opened to a dark solid wall -- no view whatsoever. Been a while since I had stayed there.... construction going on right now makes the entrance at the rear of the hotel inaccessible, but they have sort of a workaround. Only issue: on the first day, I asked to have my room changed as it was up against the AC blower of the building next door. It's a commercial district w/o much going on so keep that in mind. The place was fine, lobby spare and no place to congregate. But excellent exercise facility and decent bar/lounge. This is definitely my favorite hotel in Manila. I work in call centers, so sleep during the day is very important to me. The Bedroom Suite is off the main living quarters - which makes it quiet. They have a great gym and excellent food in the hotel. I highly recommend Discovery Suites.

I stayed this hotel for 2 nights. On the last day before check out, I was traped on the 21st floor in one of elevators in the hotel. I was the only person and it was really really scary. The emergency call worked and they came in 10 min to open the elevator door manually. The elevator was stuck in between 20 and 21st floor.
