It served the purpose very well. Close to town, restaurants, LL Bean. Easy access back to the highway.

Excellent value. Hotel clean, quiet, comfortable. Great location. Decent breakfast. Pet friendly. Nice to have microwave and fridge in room.

The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. The rate was excellent for this area. There was nothing fancy about the motel, but it was well kept and well worth the money we paid.

Great waffles! and very pleasant staff but generally an average place to stay and lay ones head. Not a place I would stay longer that the night passing through!

Clean and quiet room, perhaps a little small, but it is only a place to sleep. Staff was wonderful and breakfast was good.

I chose this hotel because of the it's location (which is very close to the Freeport shopping outlets). My stay here was nice. My room was clean and the room set up was comfortable. They do offer breakfast from 6-9 a.m. so if you are NOT an early bird (like me) to eat you may want to consider a hotel that has a later continental breakfast time. The hotel was clean, a little old and frayed at the edges but the staff was very friendly. The wi fi worked, the TV was new. Ice and vending location was a bit awkward but not awful.

Maybe I should start with the explanation that I normally don't stay in Econolodge Motels and such. But traveling through Maine twice in Sept. and Oct. and shopping in the outlet stores of Freeport it seemed like a convenient choice on both occasions. And sure it enough, I wasn't disappointed. The hotel was fine...clean overall, comfortable, close to shopping outlet. Breakfast was good...could be offered til 10am rather than 9am.

To be fair, my expectations for this class of motel aren't typically high. However the staff was very friendly, the room was surprisingly clean and comfortable, and the towels were softer than most five star hotels. Even the breakfast was good. Hotel room was clean but dated. Not a square inch was spared in the bathroom design. Hard to close the door without standing on the toilet or in the shower. Luckily the vanity is in the room. Don't look up at the fan in the bathroom. Not pleasant. We had the king size bed and we were looking forward to it after sleeping on a pull-out sofa the night […] before. We were initially worried by the exterior construction but it ended up in no way affecting our stay. We stayed for one night, with a one year old and had a wonderful experience. The staff was beyond accommodating and very friendly, especially the bar manager at the pool. We were able to order food poolside for dinner and it was delicious. Pluses: Convenient location, on the side of Rte 1 that does not face the interstate. Friendly staff, good continental breakfast. Room was clean. Minuses: Noisy HVAC unit in room.

Staff were efficient and pleasant...hotel room smelled musty and like old cigarettes...as have othe Econolodges hotels we have stayed in...will not try out this hotel in other states in the future...sorry for the staff, who were quite good

We had a pleasant stay. We were under the impression that we were within walking distance to the LLBean store, but we weren't. We were very close driving though. Other than that things were fine. The room was exceptional. No problem with the Internet and the staff was friendly. We would definitely stay there again!

Clean, quiet, friendly staff, good breakfast although needs more seating and could use a bigger preparation area. Overall, great experience, been there 2 years in a row and would stay there again next year if we go again.

It's an older facility surrounded by what seem to be newer motels. But the room was comfortable and rate was quite good and the location was good.

Very decent for the price. If you're going to freeport to shop, why not save a bit on the hotel too. The outlets are just a short drive (some are walking distance). You can also use the park and ride, which is just across the street.

Nice no frills hotel. Reasonably close to downtown Freeport. Very clean. Real nice staff. Good breakfast including 2 waffle makers. No pool but no big deal. Nice stay!

Nice location to everything "Bean." . Breakfast was very generous & enjoyed. Outside of hotel needs work but room was comfortable & you middle class which is what you would expect. I would stay there again & recommend.

Great location. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Great value. There was not enough room for the bathroom door to close without hitting the toilet. There was a hole in the bottom of the front door.

This quiet and older hotel is convenient to Freeport and very suitable for coastal travelers. We were traveling on leisure rather than business. While it certainly is not a new facility, it met our vacation needs and we rested well.

The hotel was affordable, with free breakfast and helpful staff. It's not fancy at all, but there was a fridge and microwave in The room, and nice shampoo samples.

The only thing that wasn't perfect was that my in-laws room was supposed to be non-smoking, was labeled as such, but smelled like someone had recently smoked in it. Other than that, everything was great. I especially appreciated the waffle bar.

Very clean, friendly, convenient hotel in Freeport. Highly recommend to any traveler. Staff was very helpful and even provided customized maps to beaches near Freeport. It was very quiet surroundings and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
