Hotel was fine for a short stay. Nothing was outstanding - bedroom/bathroom both average to small; buffet breakfast was adequate. The room was neat and clean; the bed was comfortable. Not certain how this hotel rates such outstanding reviews.

No elevator for second floor. Hallway smelled of smoke. Front desk was friendly. Red Lobster next door if you don't want to drive anywhere for dinner.

Except for the lack of a second floor elevator, which for me this visit didnt really matter, I thought it worked well. Wouldve liked to see fresh fruit cut up at their breakfast offerings though.

I was looking for inexpensive lodging near my home after a water pipe burst, making our home inhabitable temporarily. The room was very clean and comfortable. I was also pleased with the attentiveness of the staff.

The address of the hotel on the internet was wrong, so GPS could not find it. I called the hotel headquarters and the hotel front desk three times. My first call got the same wrong address as the internet; my second call got a wrong address which misled me to the opposite side of the street; my last call got the correct address. This is a good hotel to stay for few days for special event like happen to me.The staff is friendly,the rooms are clean,and if possible your request will be satisfied.The only negative point is the transport between the hotel and the city of New York, if You don't have a car ,must follow the scheduled time of the bus and the stop is not comfortable […] to reach the hotel and vice versa.But with a little spirit of sacrifice can be pass on it.I suggest this hotel and be carefully to purchase ticket from short line bus,not no transit,because the first has a stop closest than second. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

They say "Don't judge a book by it's cover", and I say; "Don't judge this hotel by it's lobby." The staff here were extremely unhelpful, and worse, untruthful. OK, things were going alright until the "superstorm" Hurricane "Sandy" hit, then things got real ugly, and this wasn't limited to just the weather. After we lost all electricity (including backup […] generator power...this failed also) we had no lights, no hot water, well, no anything, we were told by hotel staff that we would not be charged anything for this night's accommodation. Although half the city of New York had lost power (and we of course do not blame the hotel for not having mains electricity) we felt re-assured knowing we would not be charged for a night where we were limited to just lying in our bed waiting for power to be restored.(It wasn't).We were forced to wait and see though,as all the hotel computer's were down and we had to call back to see how it all worked out. We ended up being charged for the night with no power. I won't go into figures here, but bottom line is this; the Hotel Manager can't be trusted. Hotel staff gave us full assurance regarding accommodation charges, and when we were 5 days gone,we were hit with a charge we were told we would not be.And he continues(to this day)to ignore my e-mails reasoning with him. burn marks in bathroom; had to book a smoking room becasue the remaining rooms were taken due to displaced residents from hurricane; poor ventilation in room; being an ex-smoker, I still think the smell was horrible; everything covered in nicotine; couldn't even leave my bag in the room due to the smell

the room was spotless and very comfortable...the area was very nice but route 17 was so crowded, it too forever to go anywhere....tired to get to the movie theatre and we actually rode around for an hour & then went back to the hotel...we decided to watch an in room movie but couldn't do that either because the movie feature was down...The Red Lobster […] was a convenient place to eat as all we had to do was walk over, but the food was inaduquate...overall, the experience was good...i will stay in another comfort inn in the future but not sure about going back to route 17...I hope the others are as clean & neat as this one...also staff was very friendly. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Okay for a 1 night stay. Dont expect much from this place. Walls are thin. Breakfast isn't great. Service is meh. Rooms are standard. You get what you pay for. Area seems safe as the hotel is placed in a spot that's farely tough to get to. If you want snacks or drinks make sure you stop before you arrive at the hotel. I called the front desk to provide us a quilt for 3 times. And they said yes and nobody showed up the whole night.

The room was very dirty. Especially the rug and chair. Chair was exceptionally dirtily and had a cigarette burn in it. Room smelled moldy. Only bed linen was ok. I will never return to this chain or this hotel again.

Stay was ok. AC did not go below 68, and was still somewhat warm in the room at night. Second floor hallway also smelled like cigarette smoke, but fortunately the room did not. Very pleasant staff, comfortable bed. If you are a "sturdy" person, be aware that the bathroom is the absolute minimum of space possible. No elevator or bell staff, so if you are on the 2nd floor you will be lugging your bags up the stairs. The usual free breakfast [cereal, juice, waffles, scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage, doughnuts, yogurt], good […] coffee, very clean. The "bagel" offering was the only negative, pre-packaged tasteless. Fridge in room. Close to major league shopping, 20-30 minutes across the GW Bridge into NYC [with easy pass for tolls]. The hotel was just what I needed for a convenient overnight location. The room was comfortable; the lighting was a bit dim for good reading but everything else was fine. The hotel is right on Route 17 which is a very busy road - and if it matters, you're on one side and can only exit in one direction. Everything was wonderful at an awesome price!! We went to NYC from the hotel and stayed at a nice pricey hotel and I wish we would have stayed here at only 10minutes away at a fraction of the price!

The hotel was nice had a few complaints such as no towels in the room when I got in and the air conditioner did not work but luckily after few minutes they gave me towels and changed my air conditioner

Perhaps I had too high expectations for this place, but after reading reviews on TA and Hotels.com I thought it was the perfect choice. However, I was told on the phone while booking the room it was a suite (when I found out calling for an early check-in it was not). During the same phone call I was told there would be a DVD player, but later found […] out that is an additional charge. (Which at check-in, after requesting it on the phone to be put in the room, I was told that the TV would not work with the DVD player... really?) Also a hotel employees opened the door to my room without knocking, the pillows are ridiculously small, the room had an awful smell even after an employee came back to spray something, the CD player would not play my [regular non-burned, not scratched up] CDs, and the breakfast buffet was a joke (although I did have a delicious waffle)... everything else was mostly gross. The front desk staff also seemed rather unprofessional... overall, disappointing. The non-smoking room, sheets and towels reeked of smoke. The location was VERY convenient, which is why I stayed there. The traffic on route 17 (it's right by the exit from the Garden State Parkway) woke me during the night. Blankets only came 3/4's up the bed. It's convenient but I also need my sleep. I'll have to think twice before I return.

I've stayed here before and I'll stay here again. The room is clean and comfortable. Some reviewers have complained about noise, but I've never had a problem. This is a great place to stay for reasonable rates for the area. Two thumbs up.

I was pleasantly surprised of the bedding. The mattress seems to be fairly new and high it felt like I was right at home. The buffet breakfast was good, and the staff very pleasant. Next door is a Red Lobster and this was just great for our one night stay. Highly recommend this particular Comfort Inn Suites in Paramus.

Room was nice and clean, very comfortable beds. I had only wished for a smaller pillow, but didn´t ask. Aircondition worked well, fan speed not selectable. Breakfast: we liked the orange juice and the waffle maker best, but everything else on offer was also good. The greatest complaint we have is the access to the premises from Rte 17 southbound, where […] sometimes cars entering Rte 17 on a slip road sometimes nearly blocked us from getting on the lane with the hotel entry.
