Hollywood City Inn - ลอสแอนเจลิส

The hotelroom was newly renovated with a fridge and microwave. There was still some constructions going on at the pool side (tiling) but overall it was ok.

All was nice, especially the guy behind the counter. Extremely polite.

Overall I would have been satisfied with this hotel, altho there was a couple issues. But the major issue I had was both days (Fri March 10/Sat 11) I was woken up at exactly 8:15am to a table saw cutting stuff. Saw on, cut some stuff, then turn off... so I'd try and fall back to sleep, as I get comfy saw goes back on, i get irritated, then off... get […] comfy, back on, etc. Would have rather them just keep it on. At any rate it seems a bit much to have this begin at 8:15 AM in an area right outside of EVERYONE'S room, I wouldn't be surprised to see more reviews saying the same thing. But, had I been already up at this time, my stay would have been pretty pleasant. The wireless worked pretty good, and the hotel appeared pretty clean, minus some ants in the bathroom. The pool wasn't working, which was a disappointment as my girlfriend wanted to go swimming. They also don't rent movies, so if that matters to you... Overall, I would say 3/5... had we not seen ants and had a working pool 4/5... the fact that they would begin working with a table saw right outside the rooms at 8:15, and stop by 11am (have to be done before new people check in!) makes it a 1/5 and I'll never be back. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

The motel is not a new property but it meet my expectation compared to the low price. Breakfast is very simple and WIFI is so so.

Some rooms were being remodeled while we were there - wait for them to finish the entire renovation. Our room was extremely shabby. Fixtures were pulling away from the walls in the bathroom, carpet very dirty and stained, windows would not open, poor lighting, very dark room, room long overdue for painting. Breakfast was dismal. The best thing about this hotel is the location! Went with a few girlfriends to see Wicked at the Pantages Theatre. It was only a mile away and right off of Hollywood Blvd., and a few blocks from Sunset Blvd. Perfect location. Very cute on the outside. Nice shutters in all the rooms. Pool looked clean...didn't use it (December). Nice continental breakfast. […] Inside of room was just ok. Bed linen was old and should be replaced. Hair on the pillow cases. Called the front desk and they brought new/clean ones right away. Light in the bathroom was so dim, you could barely see what you were doing. Spoke to one of the housekeepers, but it was not fixed. Hotel is not comfotable

But you get what you paid for... the location is good and that's pretty much it.

Stayed here for NYE on a budget. Money saved was not worth the cost of inhaling the disgusting chemical smell that permeated the room. I tried airing it out by opening the window and having the air conditioner on all night. No luck. Other cons: None of the windows have screens, so mosquitoes got in when I opened it. The staff took great care of the property, inside and out. They were very helpful with their knowledge of the area as well. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. When our stay was extended by a week we lucked out that they had room. I don't think we could have stayed in a better place for the money.

One of the two rooms I rented was a bit smelly. Fixed when I turned on the AC. Was missing TV remotes, towels etc. But the maid fixed immediately. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was fine, a short walk to Hollywood Blvd where there a number of restaurants.

An extreme value. The location is ideal. The trains are a block away as well as groceries and shopping. There is a park in walking distance for us to bring our toddler. We just needed a clean home base for a couple of days to do our exploring and visiting with friends. The staff was lovely. great off season. not noisy or smelly, pleasant staff; they run a tight ship

I wasn't sure about staying at this hotel at the beginning for some mixed reviews, i wanted to stay close to Hollywood, and it was the Hollywood Inn was a good choice , clean room, i didn't have any problem finding parking, the area is not bad, restaurants close to the hotel, metro and bus stop one block away. the hotel is clean, well kept, staff is nice. breakfast is until later than most others. it's accessible to anything in hollywood, the location is great. rooms are clean and comfortable. for the price, it's a very good bargain.

Second time we stayed there, a year apart....satisfied the first time, and disappointed the second time. Pretty run down, but close to some sights....close to a grocery store and drug store...would not recommend to anyone used to a nice motel...but does have free parking!

we stayed in the newer part of the hotel, and it was super cute and perfect for the price!! they let us check in early and as long as you ask for the new part of the hotel its great!!

Reviewing parts of the area on the Internet I didn't know what to expect. I was surprised to find Hollywood City Inn was actually pretty nice. The room was clean and furnished nicely. Bottom line: nice little hotel in Hollywood. Pros: Nice staff; free breakfast; free parking; near Thai town (if you care); close to metro/subway; Cons: no hair dryer in this hotel; neighborhood isn't the nicest;

Close to Hollywood Tourism. Very close to Metro Red Line for transportation. Not the best area, but I've certainly seen worse in LA/Hollywood.

Great location. Room has everything you need. Excellent value.

Cheap and clean room. Some things at the facility are in need of repair and maintenance. Overall it was adequate for a night.

We stayed there for two nights. The price was reasonable, seeing as we stayed during the weekend and it is pretty close to the must-see Hollywood attractions. However, the room itself was pretty basic, and the beds were hard to lie in. The hotel includes breakfast, but this is mainly donuts and coffee, and both mornings we decided to go somewhere else for breakfast instead. I'm not sure if I would stay there again, but that has more to do with wanting to stay closer to the beach - which is more than half an hour's drive away from the hotel location. This hotel is clean and rooms are quite large, really good for the price. Location is fantastic (the metro station is about a 2 minute walk) or you can walk into where it is all happening in Hollywood in about 20 minutes. Most of the staff are friendly (one really unfriendly lady but the rest are good). I would recommend.

The hotel is fine as a quick inexpensive overnight place. Met minimum standards for the price.

This hotel is good value for the money. It is within walking distance of the Hollywood Walk of Fame and other must-see sights in Los Angeles. Staff friendly and courteous. Rooms clean. If in Los Angeles again, would definitely consider this hotel again.

I was very impressed with the staff, and how clean they kept the hotel. It was comfortable and a great bargain. It is only one block from the subway that will take you wherever you want to go in LA and Hollywood. I would stay there again!

I loved this place. only one block from the metro subway, which is two stops from the Chinese theatre. We loved the location, because it was close to a lot of places. staff was wonderful and polite and helpful. I would stay again.

rates were very reasonable and staff was wonderful my room was always clean with fresh towels and linens. desk clerks were great. would stay again anytime

The hotel's biggest plus and minus is the location. Its 10 minutes away from the walk of fame and kodak theater. But at the same time in a not so clean neighborhood. There is a community correction center within 0.2 mile of the hotel. Anyway, that said, objectively the hotel itself tries to give the most in the small property. A pool, a tiny breakfast […] area(aka front desk) and so many rooms. The person at the front desk was polite , there was just enough parking. The room smelled of cheap freshener or a strong detergent. Oh well.. but the beds were comfortable. Noisy tourists from the pool could be heard which is not what you need after a long drive. Basically this was a no frills motel. It was cheap but clean and the location was the what we paid for. It's just minutes from the walk of fame and shops.

Hotel was decent. Good central Hollywood location. Room was fine. Like that the doors were interior. Gated free parking lot. Staff could have been much friendlier and accommodating. It was almost as if we were bothering them checking in. Also, "free continental breakfast" is coffee and donuts.
