The Inn at Virginia Mason - ซีแอตเติล

The room was very nice with one exception. The temperature was miserably warm (75oF) and the thermostat in the room did give the ability to adjust the temperature. Did not discover until the next morning that the windows could be opened. Front desk staff were very friendly, professional, and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel itself is old. The elevator is small and scary, but functional. The room (queen) was comfortable and functional, but not particularly stylish. They really could use a renovation any time. I was disappointed with this hotel. It seemed promising when I booked it online, but when my husband and I arrived, we were not impressed at all. The lobby was nice enough, but whenever we rode the elevator, it seemed like it was going to come crashing down at any minute. Our room was in semi-poor condition (broken side lamp and bathroom sink handle), […] and the ambience of the room left a lot to be desired (awkwardly furnished, white, cracked walls, hardly any art). None of these things really bothered us, but what really made us mad was that they issued access key cards to our room to another couple a few hours after we had checked in! Fortunately, they were kind and honest (we actually ran into them in the hallway just outside our room door- and just in the nick of time!), but if they hadn't been, just imagine what could/would have happened! And I firmly believe that if my husband and I hadn't witnessed the situation for ourselves, the staff would never have brought it up to us and/or apologized, and we would have been none the wiser. . . Even though the Inn At Virginia Mason is an older building, it is well maintained and has an inviting lobby and entryway. It was very quiet, the room was kept at a comfortable temperature. The room service was affordable and the food was better than I thought it would be. I am already planning another stay there with my family.

The people were very friendly and the hotel was super close to the convention center where I was headed, but the bathroom door didn't stay closed, the room was really hot, and there was no good close parking. Still a great little spot. I would recommend.

I was in Seattle on a business trip, using the hotel as a base. The Inn at Virginia Mason is well located, within a six-minute walk of the Washington State Convention Centre and downtown (cut through the hospital and walk a few blocks, down quite a steep hill). Perhaps I should have done a little more research. This hotel adjoins the hospital and is primarily suitable for families and patients. It's probably great for that. For example, they will check your blood sugar before you eat if you need it. We went to Seattle for a football game. It was about a mile walk to the stadium, mostly downhill. The walk back was not pleasant. Too many steep hills as we neared the hotel. I would not stay here again if it was free. My room didn't have airconditioning. The bathtub was so dirty. The room was extremly outdated. I can't say enough about how bad this Hotel was. I will say that the staff was freindly at check in but that was it. Parking was a bit of a walk and ran about $25 bucks. Clean, Quiet, Friendly Staff, Fast Internet. Take note that The Inn is located at the top of a steep hill, not strenuous but might be a challenge for some. The Pike Market area is about 15 minute walk (downhill).

I would find a different hotel with better parking next time as it was frustrating for me, but then again, downtown hotels generally do struggle for ample parking (unless you stay in a high end hotel) and pay too much for the room. .centralized temperature held a constant (non-air moving) 70 degrees. Hotel is old. It was certainly adequate for my one night stay. Shower was difficult to get into because the old style tub was deep. It would not have worked for someone with mobility issues and was a challenge for me with arthritic joints.

The hotel was very nice. The room had air conditioning and was comfortable and clean, witha flat screen tv and basic amenities. We both got our exercise because the hotel is located on a hill, but it was a quiet part of town, and even the fact that it was attached to a hospital wasn't a problem. The parking was a bit spendy (had to park in a nearby parking garage) but we got a 10% discount for being a hotel patron. One of the other reviews on here stated that they had to walk through the hospital to get to the hotel - this is absolutely not true. There is a main entrance to the hotel with a lobby and beautiful outdoor seating in a flower-filled courtyard. The restaurant was good, and the neighborhood restaurants recommended by the hotel were wonderful too.
