A lovely resort with nice facilities. It is a short walk to a small village that offers an alternative to eating at the hotel. Only 2 small negative comments: 1) while internet access is available, it is expensive and we could only get good reception in the lobby (which is a very nice place to sit). We had the garden view room. Again, no problem with […] the room. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. But it was not a room with the lovely thatched ceilings as shown in the listing. We stayed at the Moorea Pearl for 4 nights and got a free upgrade to an overwater bungalow which was AMAZING. Also high points were their service - which was impeccable - and the fact that the resort was in walking distance from a small supermarket where we could get fresh bread, cheese, beer etc so we didn't have to rely on the hotel for food all the […] time (which was standard Tahiti hotel prices). Another bonus was the bed was huge and so comfy. All the other places we stayed at during our holiday (though we had the cheapest rooms at these places) had two twin beds pushed together to make a king. We also stayed at the Moorea Intercontinental so I thought I'd compare the two. It depends on what you like, big and flash with lots of rooms and poor service (Intercontinental); or amazing service, not as pretty with better local services nearby. We thought that the pool at the Pearl was nice and big, but slightly showing age, whereas the Intercontinental was very nice. Having said that it meant that there were more people in the pool at the Intercontinental (heaps of children!). Another contrast was the size of the complex, the Intercontinental was very spread out so you could go for a walk around the complex to visit the dolphin and turtles and find a hammock somewhere else, whereas with the Pearl, it was just the pool and beach, plus restaurants. We enjoyed our stay BUT: overwater bungalows VERY expensive for what you get- rather tired run down rooms. Good service in rooms. Restauramt had a cat plus many birds actually eating in the bread trays at breakfast. Overwater bungalow was great with mountain and beach views. Great service and the food at the hotel resturant was very good. Only negative was that we couldn't check in until 2:00pm and have to check out at 11:00am.

The Moorea Pearl Resort was fantastic! The hotel in itself is perfect and the food is wonderful. The breakfast buffet was extensive. It is within walking distance to a market where you can stock your room's refrigerator. They allowed us a later checkout time and the staff were very accommodating. The only negative experience is that on one one website […] it stated that the hotel provided a shuttle. When we called to arrange it, they said they did not provide this service. We came on the ferry and before our luggage was disembarked, the bus and all of the taxis were gone. My husband had to jog to the Avis rental and ask them to call a cab. Awesome in every respect. Jet ski tour is essential. Tahiti at its best. Low key, natural, friendly. All services you need but nothing is pushed on you. We lucked out with off season prices and not a single day of rain.

Didn't stay in bungalows, but you could walk the same docks and see tons of fish--they light the water at night! Friendly staff--never in your face--very relaxed. Loved it and would go back in a heartbeat and stay in one of the bungalows!

My fiancee and I stayed there last week for three days. The restaurant service was weak and unfriendly. The food was decent. A simple fist sandwich, burger, or pizza costs about $25. The only difference in ordering room service, at the bar, or at the restaurant is the price. The beach was small. It was windy most of the time so the kayaks, snorkeling, […] and swimming were bad. On the nice days, the pool chairs were all taken (there's only twenty or so for 250 guests). The reef is mostly dead and the snorkeling is better elsewhere. The pool was nice. The hot-tub didn't work. The tours and renting a car are a must, but are very expensive. If you have at least $10,000 to spend on the week, you could have a nice time. Otherwise, you're going to feel like you're just getting bent over. The bed was comfortable, the garden-view room was nice, and the shower pressure was plenty. Note - there's also lots of roosters and mosquitos, bugs in the room, and a crappy little fridge that doesn't actually cool anything off. My fiancee and I have traveled all over the world, and of the all places we have been, we felt like we got the least bang for our buck in Tahiti. It set the standard for over-priced and over-hassled. We actually cut our trip short by three days because we thought it'd be more worthwhile to come home and relax. We also felt like for all the money going to the island, the people that actually live there should be living better. We're not sure where all the profits are going, but it's not going to the local people or the environment. The Pearl makes a lot of money, but doesn't seem to give back. Pearl is in a great location, walking distance to grocery store, BEST dive shop on the grounds, quiet and slow paced resort. This is not the resort for you if you are looking for fun and music! There is a beautiful reef around the bungalows and you can snorkel all around. The breakfast was excellent, containing omelette station, bacon, breads, fruit, […] etc. Try the Tahitian pizza at the bar - it is GREAT! Bring your mask and snorkel for the marine life around the resort. The hotel rooms are small, but sufficient. Contrary to some of the info I read, this hotel DOES have Air conditioning. They could do ALOT more for the guests, like offer pool side drink service, keep bar open for lunch before 2pm, and have some more entertainment, but this is a great place if you want quiet. An excellent friendly hotel. We visited with kids and they loved it aswell. Close to a small supermarket if you want to buy items when going on trips. Prices were ok, especially as we had the kids eat free if we ate in the hotel. We paid hotels.com for the accommodation and no extra taxes were payable just as it says! A++.

We stayed in one of their hotel rooms, which to be fair is their bottom rate, but that rate is still very pricey by any standards. The room was nice with teak furnishings and of good size with two twins downstairs and a king bed in a loft. The bed and linen were fairly basic and not luxurious by US standards. Though breakfast was included in the room […] price it was only for two and there was a high extra charge for the third person for a nice but not exceptional breakfast buffet. Pool and beach were nice though the hot tub was cold. Snorkling off the docks was great with very clear water and a nice variety of small colorful fish. Kayaks are available too. Deep water over water bungalows did look amazing. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Very peaceful atmosphere. We stayed in an up-graded overwater bungalow. I would not recommend the regular overwater bungalows because the back decks were not private. The room was very nice and well-kept. Our only complaint is that the restaurant staff was very rude to us when we spoke french to them. The hostess called over another staff member to immitate our french skills […] and they laughed at us while we were still standing at the hostess stand. My husband and I spent 4 days and 3 nights at the Moorea Pearl Resort on our honeymoon and it was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and greeted us with lemonade and a cool towel upon arrival. They showed us around the hotel and made us feel welcome. The concierge was very helpful and knowledgeable and made bookings for all of our activities (including […] any transportation arrangements where necessary) for jet-skiing, ATVs, golf and dinner reservations. Our room - a delux garden room that had our own backyard and plungepool) was great. (There was a very loud baby next door on the first night who would not stop crying. The hotel was full so we could not move rooms, but the staff told us that those guests were leaving the following day. Other than the loud baby, the hotel was pretty quiet.) The plunge pool was a nice addition to our trip - it gave us a great reason to stay in our room for several hours a day. When we told the hotel staff that the jets weren't working they came and visited our room immediately and repaired them. The food and drinks were good and the breakfast buffet had lots of great variety. The pool was nice and we got a couples massage at the spa which was very convenient and relaxing. The Moorea Pearl Resort and Spa was excellent in every way. The service was exceptional and almost all of the staff were very friendly and spoke good English. The location is good, as its less than 10 minutes in a taxi from the ferry, and just a 5 minute walk from a supermarket, bank and a couple of restaurants. The pool is good, and there are canoes/snorkling […] equipment for free use by hotel guests, no need to book, just borrow and return. The hotel also has a Polynesian dance show a couple of nights a week, again free of charge, although you may want to book a table outside of the restaurant for the best views of this. Activities and tours can be booked directly with the hotels activities team, who are very informative about each and every tour. We would definitely recommend the lagoon tour, for a swim with sharks and stingrays. The whole complex looks great, we were in a garden room, probably the lowest cost room available at the resort, and it was brilliant, so I assume the higher cost rooms are very special. The only negative comment I could have is that the jacuzzi is colder than the swimming pool, which I found unusual, but that is as bad as it gets. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel war sensationel. Eine wunderschöne, aber überschaubare Hotelanlage mit fantastischem Personal. Samtliche Anliegen wurden schnell erledigt. Direkt im Hotel ist ein Aktivitätendesk, ein kleines Dorf mit Shops, Restaurant in 5 Min. zu Fuss erreichbar.

situation jeune couple bungalow sur pilotis. Points positifs : Très bel hotel, accueil impeccable, personnel charmant, permettant même si possible de garder la chambre si le voyage de retour est plus tard. Chambre avec tout le confort, belle salle de bain, terrasse sous les étoiles mais face à la plage (bungalow prestige face à la mer), piscine à débordement […] tout heure, serviettes de plage changé à volonté, restaurant excellent et grand buffet le matin (faut absolument prendre le PDJ ça vaut le coup )et le samedi soir. Point négatif : belle plage mais pas possible de se baigner car pas de fond, oursins et coraux. Lors du ménage pas de remise de fleurs dans la salle de bain. Pas de fenêtres dans la salle de bain juste de petits volets donc par vent beaucoup de bruit. Le service du retaurant bien qu'impeccable à tendance à débarrasser les tables trop vite si vous quittez la table (pour voir le spectacle) alors que nous n'avions pas fini. Trevlig personal, rent och snyggt hotell med massor med aktiviteter bara runt hörnet. Två mycket bra restauranger i närheten; Ruby´s och Allo´s Pizza (bäst).

Soggiorno da favola, Moorea è meravigliosa e la gente del posto di una cortesia imbarazzante. Unica pecca del Resort la sua posizione, ho infatti fittato l'auto e girato un pò l'isola e devo dire la verità che ci sono resort con spiagge molto più polinesiane del Moorea Pearl Beach.

Décevant, l'emplacement et pas très bon, la mer était sale, le petit-déjeuner minimaliste et la qualité du service surtout à la réception, vraiment décevant.

nos recibieron con bebida helada y piña a la habitacion, que por cierto estaba impecable. nos quedamos una noche en las casitas que miraban hacia el mar, que son totalmente recomendables. y la 2da noche en l casita mirando hacia la playa, que no se si vale tanto la pena, ya que ahí no te pudes bañar. pero igual de comoda por dentro. un sin fin de peces!! […] bellos! si bien el hotel es lindo y comodo, no creo que volveríamos. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

staff is lovely, but some services are just not what I expect for that price: - a hinge of the cupboard where the minibar is in broke the first day and you couldn´t close the cupboard anzmore firmly. I´d expect to have that fixed without giving them extra notice as during room cleaning they must have realized it as they replaced the used glasses with […] clean ones. - the towels for our privat pool have been collected but not replace until we asked two days later - if you wanted to to have pool towels or snorkeling equipement you better planed to wait for somebody for 5 to 15 minutes as the desk was often unattended - no transfer from airport of ferry included. as everybody must arrive either by ferry or plane I´actually would expect to have that included. it´s just like 20 bucks and it would ruine them but make a great first impression and differenciate them from other hotels. over all, the down sides are all minor ones but it kinda ads up, especially if you pay quite an amount for your stay อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Estuvimo tres noches, la habitación es muy grande, luminosa ,confortable y cálida. El servicio del hotel es exelente. Los jardines están muy bien cuidados, la piscina se confunde con el mar. Tres bonne prestation hôteliére, service efficace,les duplex sont trés pratique pour les familles,la vue de la petite plage est neammoins cachée par les bungalows sur pilotis

Les chambres "jardin" avec piscines privées sont vraiment géniales: petit jardin privatif, à l'abri des regards, avec sa piscinette, idéale pour un couple, le tout situé à quelques mètres à peine de la plage. Accueil irréprochable. Les personnes qui gèrent le bureau des activités sont très efficaces et de bon conseil. Le restaurant est plutôt bon, […] mais un peu cher.
