We stay at this hotel when we visit my husband's family. We have tried a number of others in the area and have landed on this one as our regular place. Reasons? We find the staff and facility in top shape consistently and we enjoy the pool/hot tub area as well as having a full kitchen. Never disappointed.

We were welcomed enthusiastically when we arrived. Our room was a suite so we had a kitchen area, table, sofa, as well as the bedroom. The sink is outside of the bathroom. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. The quality of the towels was average. The sound proofing could be improved. The breakfast was very good with oatmeal, eggs, bacon, waffles, […] fruit (not too ripe), coffee, juices, muffins, etc. I would suggest the the breakfast staff clean the tables and keep up with replenishing more frequently. I had to clean my table with some water and a napkin. The wifi was good - not speedy, but easy to get on and use. Don't expect more than a clean simple motel

It was my first stay here and the amenities were very nice and staff was wonderful...especially Manager, Jill ! We were very comfortable and the breakfast was very nice. They staff was very accommodating! There are so many things to do in the surrounding areas within walking distance!...Food, shopping anything you may need!

The interior of our room was great but I was disappointed with the maintenance of the grounds and the service at the front desk.

Enjoyed my stay! The service was excellent. I liked the option that the hotel offers to shop for groceries prior to my arrival. The breakfast was fantastic!

I was charged 20.00 on my debit and have not heard back from the manager as of yet! My email from the hotel shows no charges were applied HMMMM !!

We stayed 1 night at the hotel while attending a funeral in the area. We had a studio suite. I slept on the pull out sofa with one of our kids. The blanket was dirty and the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The room was in fair condition. It showed signs of heavy use (tiles in bathroom cracked and visible mold and mildew on ceiling and shower walls). […] For the price, I did not see it to be good value or experience. We stayed for one night and found the room (one bedroom suite) and hotel in decent shape. It's located near a shopping center in Poughkeepsie but far enough away that it was quiet. The exercise room was equipped with 2 treadmills, one elliptical machine, and a set of weights. An indoor pool was next to the exercise room. The complimentary breakfast […] included eggs, which I always appreciate. The suite, which was furnished in a very very standard but comfortable fashion, had two flat screen TVs. The only negatives, and these were minor, were the pullout bed not being super comfortable and the lights above the bathroom sink were intense and reflected between two mirrors that made grooming very challenging. Hotel was under renovation and noisy, but staff made concessions. Rooms are small, but adequate. Very clean.

The hotel was about 30 minutes from the fair grounds in an area with shopping and restaurants. Very easy access to the fair grounds and surrounding shops. The suite was small but big enough. The sofa and chairs could have been more comfortable but were adequate.

Our stay at the Residence Inn of Poughkeepsie was great! The staff were very kind and most helpful, with local directions and recomendations.

It is right off of route 9 in Poughkeepsie, NY which is great if you know the area, it a little confusing if you don't . The hotel was located near everything., retail and grocery stores, starbucks, and shopping plazas and reteraunts. The suite was nice. Sleep sofa wasn't super comfy, but would have been fine for one person and not the 2 on it. Other […] down side was "Full Kitchen" included everything but the stove (it did have a stove top). It has a billiards room, indoor pool, and exercise room all free for guests. Breakfast was good too. Simple hot breakfast. but was definitly a decision factor for choosing this hotel.
