Room was clean. This was the bright spot. TV was old and did not work. Wifi also did not work. No apologies from the office when provided this information.

Excellent value for the price. Rooms are crowded with two beds but otherwise this is perfect for a short business stay for one or two people.

This is a cheap, no frills, hotel. It is clean, quiet, and right across the street from a good dinner/ place to get a drink. Nothing fancy, but that's what I wanted it to be.

The hotel is an older facility, but nicely renovated. For anyone not insistant on having the aminities of a 4 or 5 star establishment, this hotel is a great value.

The hotel manager was extremely nice. For the class of motel it was, it was at the top end. The rooms were very clean... soft towels... free internet. Great location, being so close to downtown.

This is a great place to stay if you're looking for a clean, economical room. The room itself was simple, but clean. The neighborhood seems somewhat shady, but that's expected when you're right next to a public university. They first put me in a really weird room location because I wanted second floor and most of their rooms were booked I think it was rm 218...its kind of separated from the rest of the rooms...you wouldn't know it was there, kind of like the 13th floor. They were acccomodating when I asked to move. Rooms were very clean, and staff was pelasant.

Very comfortable, clean, and friendly. Even had nice sized refrigerator and microwave. Across the street from Northern Arizona University, and just down the hill from Lowell Observatory. We stayed here before a day trip to the Grand Canyon. I was a little skeptical about such a low price motel room, but this place is a really good place for an overnight stay. Free wi-fi, with a mini fridge and microwave.

Quiet hotel that was close to NAU. No breakfast but they have free coffee in lobby. The owner was very friendly.

This is not the fanciest place, but it is extremely clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly, competent and efficient. The price is great. Good restaurant across the street.

Our stay at the Highland Country Inn was great. The rooms are very clean and appear to have been recently remodeled. There was a microwave and small fridge in each of the rooms which is a great feature when travelling. Comfortable beds gave us a good nights sleep. This is an adequate, no frills motel whose best feature is its proximity to the NAU campus. I wish the rooms had privacy curtains so that you didn't have to choose between sunlight and having people see into your room as they walk on by.

Repeat guest. Older motel very well maintained, better than some newer properties. Good mattress. Short walk to Amtrak station and downtown. Also close to numerous restaurants on Milton and Mike Peak.

Served my needs. Quiet & convenient. Heating/cooling is manually controlled (no thermostat) so a bit of effort to get the temp right. Family run, attentive "staff". Good price - esp when booked on line.

Stayed one night while Skiing in Flagstaff – perfect “no frills” place to stay – it’s always super clean, the bed was comfy and everything works as it should. It’s a short walk to the down town area and it’s got a grocery store opposite. I’ll stay here again!

Excellent location. 5 minutes walk to the central Flagstaff is nice, especially when you want to hit the microbrews and one of the best whiskybars west of MIssissippi. Great hotel, excellent wifi

Perfect location...in walking distance of almost everything and easy to find! Perfect price! Super friendly staff! Although the room was slightly dated and simply, it was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay there again when in Flagstaff.

Very pleased w new, clean rooms for the price. Liked having fridge n microwave, n giant natural food store next door. Easy access to Lowell Observatory. The loud bathroom fan is the only thing that was annoying but not a big deal. Would def stay again!!

We've stayed here before and had the king room on the end and it was big. This time we stayed in 2 queens and it was clean and good for a nights stay.

Very convenient location for visiting NAU, hiking, skiing, hanging out downtown, cycling..... great value for the price, I find it comfortable. I have stayed here before, and will again. The location is right next to the university where we could see a big lighted Christmas tree out the window, and within sight of a natural foods store that we could walk to in less than 30 seconds. The desk staff was efficient and courteous.

The room was clean. The staff was fine (didn't deal with them much, which is good). There were no problems with the comfort of the room/bed. The hotel is within walking distance to downtown, which was a huge plus for us. All in all, I would recommend Highland.
