Surrounded by freeways, the Sky Harbor International Airport is about three miles east of downtown. Largely industrial, the airport area contains cultural attractions. Near the edge of the airport’s runway, the Pueblo Grande Museum and Archeological Park features a 1,500-year-old Hohokam village ruin. The Chinese Cultural Center’s shops, restaurants, and koi ponds are also nearby.

"some disappointments"
At registration it sounded as though food was included, so was surprised at breakfast that it was so expensive. The site said there was 24 hour hot water service, but there was not and there was a charge for tea in the am, but the staff provided hot water when asked. Nice, but not a value.

"Convenient to Chase Field"
The hotel is convenient to Chase Field for baseball games. Just a 15 minute drive from the hotel to Chase, mostly on freeways. Hotel is far enough from the freeway to be quiet. Hotel staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend it for a stay in Phoenix or Tempe.
"Very Convenient"
Great place to overnight near PHX with excellent shuttle service. We arrived early so we were able to enjoy the pool and our balcony. Hotel has a bistro where you have a simple meal and/or a drink at reasonable prices.

Very neat, clean and sufficiently furnished room. Lobby and adjacent areas are very nice, and the "coffee shop" is a handy amenity - the individual booths and TVs make it seem much less like a hotel lobby. The young lady from Alaska behind the counter was particularly pleasant, and the Starbucks coffee and breakfast offerings (while priced on the high […] side) were in line with expectations. More than adequate parking and the hotel is very centrally located, with easy access to Hwy. 143 and from there, PHX and points beyond. Very clean and nicely maintained pool area. "too much "carpet clean""
Hotel was comfortable and had a small convenient and good restaurant. Staff was polite and friendly. ONE big problem... there was too much cleaner/spray/dust in my room. It reeeeeeeked of it. They will change your room because of this, but other rooms were similar. I have allergies.
"Good but you can do better"
Stayed here 1 night after my wedding to catch a flight out next morning. They let me check in a bit early but I went in with lots of luggage and we not helped with any of it. I figure someone could have lended me a hand rather than watching me fight with all those bags. For the price..I expected more.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Shuttle even dropped us off at a convenient place to eat and pass time and also picked us up.
