Nice in all aspects. Also close to the beach and the attractive town center. Only drawback for some might be the need for valet parking but they do have it available.

i really enjoyed my stay at the Virginia Hotel in Cape May. It was a beautiful old building, within walking distance of the beach, many shops and restaurants. I found the old Victorian building to have tons of charm. My only concerns were I didn't expect the 'valet' parking. (checking out before 8 a.m., I walked to the sister hotel to find my own vehicle) […] and my room on the first floor was across the hall from a meeting room where a meeting was going on until well approx 10-1030 pm and I heard frequent loud laughter from the group into the night. ( I was exhausted after driving up from VA starting very early in the morning). At that point all I wanted to do was wind down and sleep. My Husband and I stayed here three days. Although I was hoping for beautiful and sunny fall weather, it was cloudy and cool, and rained a little too! However, we were so pleased with our stay at The Virginia Hotel, the weather didn't matter! Although we did not eat dinner there, we did sit in the bar, and also had drinks on the lovely porch. I can't […] say enough about our stay. We were one block from the Ocean, and one block from great shopping. The place was immaculate, our bed was comfy, and the staff was very nice and accommodating. Very courteous staff very eager to please. Great bar at the ebbitt room. Easy walking distance to everything.

The staff absolutely went overboard to accommodate. It was late at ite, when we arrived & they made a special effort to make coffee (fresh). Hotel was VERY clean, wonderful atmosphere and I had a wonderfvul time.

Nice hotel, with style. Room OK, although problems with hot-cold shower: single-function shower knob only, for flow and for temperature, did not work well. Remained too hot. Could not be changed.

We went in the busy time of July, so it was busy. The rooms are small but very clean. Housekeeping does a nice job but is very cheap with the soaps and shampoos. We had to call and get some more once we ran out of them on our second night. The breakfast that comes with the room doesn't arrive until 8:45 the earliest, so if you're an early riser, you'll […] need to go out and get breakfast. We had breakfast our first morning and it was fair. The coffee is terrible and the tea is cheap. The fruit bowl was excellent as was the breads. We had dinner in the Ebbit Room which is inside the hotel for our anniversary. The food was wonderful but it's a slow process. We had trouble getting wine, as they were out of the wines I selected. Finally had some beer. Our dinner took 2 and 1/2 hours. All in all, I would recommend the hotel, but it's expensive for what you get and you might do better shopping around. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

As mentioned, my experience with the hotel staff was very disappointing. I was not able to move to a more suitable room after being kept up all night by loud voices outside my window after being told I would be able to move the next morning. This is a 4 star hotel and I had to ask for a bar of soap since there was none in the room when I arrived. Housekeeping […] did not replenish the toiletries during my 3 day stay, so I had to call to ask for a shampoo and conditioner and was made to feel like I was asking for a bar of gold. Our stay at the Virginia Hotel was delightful. Everything was above expectation. The continental breakfast was delicious, the room was upscale, clean and comfortable, and the service was commendable. We will be going back!

Not only is the hotel beautiful, the staff is simply wonderful. We were treated with such kindness, we felt both special and welcomed.

I stayed here in mid-October and I thought the value was tremendous. Although the hotel is a little out of the way, I loved the neighborhood.

The Virgina Hotel is a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. The staff seem eager to please and very competent. We had a wonderful vacation

Although very old and historic, the Virginia Hotel has been updated to include all of the modern conveniences. A delicious breakfast is delivered to your room, or can be eaten on the extensive front porch. The staff, including the valets, were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We will return! Our room was just beautiful, sparkling clean and lovely. The Virginia Hotel is a gem in Cape May, NJ and with good reason. We will be planning another stay there in the near future!
