We were treated with great respect and friendliness by ALL staff members & would definitely recommend this property for anyone who enjoys the French Quarter scene but doesn't need the attendant late-night noise.

Nice room; they were fully booked for rooms with 2 double beds when we checked in, which is what I reserved; so that was disappointing. But the desk clerk was accomodating with roll away beds for our kids. It worked out fine. Great location if you want to visit the French Quarter. Breakfast was expensive.

This property is located in the top half of bank building (Lobby in on the 11th Floor). The rooftop view is of west New Orleans (Superdome). The location is a good one in my opinion as the cross street, Carondelet St., is on the "St. Charles" Trolley line (Garden District). So travel to that side of town is very easy. Caronedelet St 2 blocks in the […] opposite direction turns into Bourbon St. were you can find all the jazz, food and adult beverages you want within 5 minutes. If you come here by car know that it is valet parking only and it is pricey but the location makes up for it in the location not needing a car really. The hotel food is pretty standard for Hilton Garden Inn breakfast. The pool is not much of a pool (no laps) as it is not much more than a oversized hot tub with no jets. But it is warm. The was quite enough though I was near the elevator so late at night you can hear the whoosh of the cars going by. The neighborhood, even at night seems pretty safe as the property is on the other side of Canal St. All the floors except 11 require key card access. I would stay at this hotel again. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

No air conditioning in the room. Wouldn't give us a later check out with a 4 year old. Certainly not the worst experience, but they were not accommodating at all.

We had a really nice stay. I got there early for check in and they made sure I got what I requested! They also were very friendly. The room was nice. Only one guy helping with your bags for the whole hotel so it took a long time for them to get to us to help. Overall had a nice time staying there.

This Hilton Garden Inn was a standard hotel, but provided a great alternative to saying directly in the Quarter. 2-3 block walk to get to Bourbon, convenient to Streetcar stops. Would definitely recommend for short trips to NOLA.

The front desk was a PERFECT EXAMPLE of what customer serservice is. The reps and staff was very helpful in every way! The valet was nice as well and very promptly. (A lil costly) I have no conplaints!

The stay was great just not enough selection of food places that deliver to the hotel. There room service prices are crazy high for the food on the menu. Oh we did have one employee that went above and beyond for for us , Ms. Liz , she was great in telling use where to go to eat and what attractions to go to ... After returning from a day out sight seeing and to prpare for a night out on Bourbon Street, we discovered that our room did not get maid service all day. I called the front desk and they were very rude. The desk attendant asked me if the "Do Not Disturb Sign" had been left on the door and I told her definitely not. We wanted service that day so I had […] made sure the sign was not left on the door. The desk attendant then said she would have to check the maids records for that day to see if the "Do Not Disturb Sign" was on the door. "I DO NOT APPRECIATE BEING CALLED A LIAR". At over $200 a night I expect better service from a Hotel. Also the air conditioner quit the first night and thge maintenance technician spent 2 hours in the middle of the night fixing it. I arrived late to the hotel due to a delayed flight. I was given a room behind the elevator making it difficult to sleep. This was compounded that check out was at 11am...having not gotten much sleep I was late getting up. At exactly 11:01 the housekeeper was knocking on the the door. good stay, about 2 blocks away from bourbon street.. short walk but away from all they noise and party folk so you can relax and get a good night sleep once you've had enough

The hotel is odd in that there is little street presence. The lobby on the 11th floor always seems deserted. However, the place is mere steps away from the French Quarter, but still removed from the madness for a quiet sleep. Had no issues walking in/out of the hotel at any time of day or night.

Rate, location and property were all great - but had issues that relate to processes which need improvement. Bathroom had no shampoo, creamers by in-room coffee maker had expired and were like sludge, and A/C unit was loud and disruptive to sleep on night #1 and died on day #2. Location is the best part about this hotel. Two blocks from Bourbon Street. Rooms are very basic. Nothing fancy. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Best thing, location.Right close to Canal and Bourbon. That's where you want to be. Especially at NOLA, we didn't want to take a chance with a shady location, knowing how anywhere in NOLA beyond the French Quarters is kinda dangerous. Great location. I could see bourbon street from my hotel window. River walk was just a few minute walk down Poydras street and Bourbon street was just a block over. Great place to stay. Clean and secure hotel for New Orleans.

The rooms were not bad and the hotel was close to Canal and Burbon Street. The service was not minimally satisfying. I was misled by the staff multiple times and given conflicting information. I was really disappointed when the kitchen served me food that was not appetizing or as described on the menu. After spending the day sightseeing I decided to […] grab a bite to eat after the front desk suggested me to try their kitchen area. I ordered a barbcue shrimp wrap. The sandwich wasn't cheap and it was literally boiled baby shrimp, cole slaw, and a tortilla. There was no bbq to the whole sandwich. They would not accomodate me and replace the meal with another item, I just expected something that had bbq in the title to actually be bbq flavored. I was also billed for wine that I ordered after the woman at the front counter advised me to order the wine that I was trying to buy at the kitchen instead because they had an "open bar." It was not a true statement. The next morning I spent 10 minutes standing at the front desk to be checked out while the woman not even ten feet away from me told me someone will be with me soon. Great location to stay in New Orleans.. 2 block walk to Bourbon St and all the other fun stuff in the French Quarter. The AC in the room did not work well - hotel its self was not very nice for a Hilton... it reminded me more of a Howard Johnson. Staff was friendly! Parking was expensive.

Good location to get around New Orleans. Not really in the French Quarter as such, more the buffer in-between that and the business district. However this may be to an advantage at the french quarter gets pretty noisy at night. Remember to factor in the ever changing parking fees.

I recently stayed at this hotel while handling some family business in New Orleans. I've stayed in many hotels all around the country and I'm usually very pleased with the ones that conduct business under the Hilton name. However, I will rate the Garden Inn of New Orleans at about a 3, simply because of the foul smell throughout the hotel and the not-so-comfortable […] bed. The hotel is under renovation, which was no problem, but the entire building has an old, dank smell to it, like stale cigarette smoke. The room was very clean and well kept each day with fresh towels, etc. On another note, the bed (which had an adjustment knob ranging from soft to firm on the side of the mattress) did not work and had a slope at the head of the mattress that wouldn't level out. My husband and two children were with me on this trip and they complained of the same thing...a hard mattress. Also, be prepared to leave the hotel to eat (which is no problem since New Orleans has great food!) because they only offer room service from 5 pm - 10 pm during dinner hours. The hotel was okay, not all bad, but a much better hotel in the city is the Hilton Riverside. I've stayed there several times and its awesome! We had tickets to the Saints game, and wanted to be in walking distance of both the Dome and Bourbon street... A+!!! Awesome room n service!!! Loved the valet!!! We got so much without all the extra charges! We will be staying here from now on and so will all of our friends!!!!!
