This was a nice hotel for the price. We were going to a wedding just a few miles away...it worked out perfect. We requested a late check out which they let us do but a minute passed the time we were to check out housekeeping came to the room...we were trying to get ready with a baby. This hotel was very nice for the price and very clean. The only thing was the security door latch was loose, though it still held firm when used, the cont. breakfast was good and the stay was very pleasant...

We read all the previous reviews on Hotels.com for this hotel and did not find any negatives on our stay. We received a quiet second floor unit, the largest king room they had, and it faced the inner courtyard. We selected this hotel because of location and the free breakfast in the morning. We called ahead to arrange for late check in and confirm that a rollaway to be set up in our room before we arrived. We checked in and found no rollaway. It took nearly an hour for the front clerk to bring us the bed. Nothing fancy but a clean room. Gym was gross and tiny with old machines. There were strange people loitering outside when I arrived. I told the employee at check-in who promptly asked them to leave. Check-out was at 12. At 11:30 I was finishing packing and getting ready to leave when a maid knocked on my door. We stayed at the Newbury Park, CA Quality Inn and Suites on Sept. 18, 2011. The grounds, pool and Jacuzzi are very pretty and well kept. We had a nice stay , pool & Spa open late , breakfast is the best lots of variety , friendly staff and nice lobby.

Only stayed one night on route to LA. Stayed in ground floor room added bonus of patio, easy access to pool and spa. Can walk to shopping complex nearby. Good breakfast selection.

Booked this hotel because it was in between Ventura and SImi Valley. It is well situated. Just a block or two from the 101 and also a block or two from the Janss Marketplace. The Marketplace was quite a nice surprise. Plenty of places to eat, a Golds Gym (which you can use as guest of the hotel), movie theaters, and at night the Sunset Terra restaurant […] turns into a club. There's also a Denny's, Best Buy, and gas stations close by. Very convenient to just about all you need. Now the hotel itself is a little dated, but the rooms are nice and comfy for two. If you can get a ground floor room with a patio that looks out to the central courtyard. The courtyard is nice and has a jacuzzi and the pool at one end. During our visit there only seemed to be one person manning the front desk. We didn't have any issues, but I could certainly see how it could be. However he did seem to be quite accommodating and helpful to all those who asked, especially in the morning when it was quite busy. Only two minor issues with our room. When we first entered the room smelled sanitized and not in a good way. It was overpowering. We opened the front and patio door to let the room breathe. This helped and then the room was good. The other issue was with our particular room the toilet flush was finicky. When you flushed sometimes it would not fill the tank back up and you had to wiggle the handle to get it to fill up again before you could use it again. The double queen beds were very comfortable as well as the pillows. We had the fan on at night to help ventilate the place, but all in all a good hotel for the night. The complimentary breakfast was not that good with most of the food gone 30 minutes before end of breakfast. Some of the staff was not serviceminded and the pool wasn't clean. Ok hotel for one night travel through.

The restroom was really clean, and the room was very comfortable. I would put regular size pillows instead of those, but that's the only negative thing I could say about it. Everything worked out well for us. It's not as close to the beach as we thought, but for what you pay is the best you can get. We didn't hear anything from other rooms, but we stayed […] on the second floor. It has a swimming pool and a spa, but we didn't use them. We didn't try their breakfast because it was too early for us, we were on vacation so it wasn't worth it for us. We eat on Mimi's, which is really close to the hotel. If your here on business then it fits the purpose. I was awaken by construction in the middle of the hotel lawn.

We overnighted for the premiere night of Open Borders 2011 - this property was literally just across the parking lot - talk about convenient! The bed was extra comfortable and the front desk was extremely attentive. I would only suggest regular-size pillows instead of throw-size. The property has a pool, hot tub and pond. I am impressed by the cleanleness and the hotel envionment near highway, but at a quiet area and close to many restaurants. Akio

My overall stay was very satisfying. It was close to where I wanted to be. It was what I needed and would stay there again if needed.

The stay was very good, and I will say as good as you are in your own house. The staff was very helpful and provided all help and any item which we forgot to bring. The room was very clean and may be compare to a five star hotel from inside. The best was morning breakfast and I will say as good as you do it at your home.

This hotel was reasonably clean and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself is in poor condition. Towels were small, and one of them was so fragile with age that it tore in use. The sink stopper handle came off in my hand. It woudld be fine if all the little things were fixed.

Nice place

You can't find a better location in Thousand Oaks. Nice upgrades. Pool is open year round but not heated. Hot tub is nice and hot! Rooms are comfortable. Breakfast room is cozy and welcoming in the morning. Lobby is fancy and the computer station is a real bonus. For the price and the area, I wasn't expecting much, to be honest. But it really, really surprised me. Will stay here again!

Average hotel with minimal frills for fair price.

well im telling people, do not stay here, painted over motel 6, stay was horrible, broken fire alarm, was told by maintance man if it continues to chirp, just unplug it, no alarm clock, very small room, too much furniture in room, very hard to move around with you have a family of four, second day, toilet wouldnt flush, after i went, then relocated […] to a different room, this room, the light over the beds didnt work, called front desk, then came and asked if we checked the wire, i said no, maintaince said well its unplugged, then the remote to the tv, didnt work, everytime you turn the tv, on it was blaring loud, about a 1/2 gap on both sides of front door, were light was coming through, horrible place, i highly dont recommend it, wish i could get my money back, sending a letter to the quality inn corporate office. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

An older hotel with a newer facade, including in the rooms. Beds were comfortable and there was new tile in the bathroom and a few new room fixtures. Negatives: pool closed due to health code violations, holes in the wall, dirty carpet, motel layout, loud adjacent guests and thin walls, constant trouble with room keycards. We had to move out for two nights while our place was being fumigated. This hotel was only 3 miles away so in that respect, it was perfect. The room was clean and quiet, but the bed was rock hard.

Nice basic hotel, with clean rooms. Stayed for business and was happy with room. Only minor issue was no iron in room, so had to grab from front desk. Business travelers like iron in room for ease of access.

Although I had a non-smoking room, there was smell of smoke in the room. The sheets had stains of blood.

Very comortable bed, nice room, good deal.

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich auch wenn das einchekcen etwas lange gedauert hat. Das Zimmer war sehr komfortabel und das Frühstück reichlich und sehr fein. Leider war kein Lift vorhanden.

It isn't a five star resort, but for a night (or even a few) it is really good. Rooms are large and clean. TV, microwave, iron + board, fridge, airco, all you need is there. I would recommend as friendly and clean. Location is good because large shopping mall within walking distance plus many restaurants and bars nearby. Free parking and Wifi,... which […] is always a plus and staff are friendly. The breakfast (included in rate) is well presented and choice is more then OK. One remark is that the 'restaurant' for eating breakfast is a bit too small and one may have to wait 5 to 10 minutes before having a place to sit (and usually have to share a table with other guest(s). Pour un motel et pour le prix, la prestation est très bonne. Tranquilité, chambres très grandes, petit déjeûner bof...et pas assez de places assises !!mais soyons justes c'était déjà très bien comparé à d'autres motels, piscine bien agréable, grand parking et surtout comme c'est en banlieue, c'est pas cher !
