Admirals Inn Resort - โอกูนควิท

Went on a weekend trip for daytime "tourist" type activities. We are not "nightlife" people, so we stayed in the two evenings we were there. Not too bad except that the television was pretty small (not more than 24 inches) and therefore a little hard on the eyes. Needed ice and they told me I would have to DRIVE back over to the main office and get some not happy after a long day....never mentioned they had a restaurant...just the continental breakfast which we usually skip. Just didn't seem interested in us staying there.....isn't this the begining of there season? Not the end....

We stayed in a newer section of the Admirals Inn. My only problem with the room is that the heater/air conditioner is in the window and takes a long time to reach the bathroom area which is on the other side of a large room. And it would have been better if they had installed a ceiling light iin the room. Other than that, everything else was great. […] Short walk to the center of town. Friendly staff. within walking distance of the beach. very friendly people. Roasting marshmallows on the bonfire was great. Very kid friendly. Lots pf spaces where they can run around. Definitely will go back if we are in the area.

Only a few minutes walk to stores and restaurants. You can also walk to the beach.

Told that there was a couch in the room and that we'd be in the newest section but given a room that resembles a motel. It looked as though we were the only guests in the older section. We were moved to the new building where everyone else was. The room was clean but pretty bare. No place to set down your stuff. Bathroom sink area very small. Even though […] the staff was nice and pleasant I will not recommend this hotel. Why didn't we get the "better" room to begin with?? very reasonable rates. helpful and friendly staff at check-in,we had a small room near pool and fire pit. room was clean and pleasant, but mattress sagged so much it felt like i was sleeping on the slope of a hill. 5+ minute walk to restaurants and bars.

staff were extremely polite and helpful. Location was in close proximity to everything we wanted to do. Room was clean, quiet and efficitient. Bed was extremely comfortable. Overall it was a very pleasant experience

For those looking for a cheap motel experience this establishment is the answer. My issue is that like so many other Internet ads, the photos are doctored and what one sees in person is not what is represented. The hotel disguises itself as a charming B&B but one is put up on a back patio non descript motel like structure without any personality whatsoever. […] The jacuzzi is tiny and filled with chlorine - burned my skin. The Inn is a reasonably priced Inn but the rooms lack just about everything- mine in particular was painted a hideous olive green. The king-size bed had plastic sheeting under the linens! The bathroom is literally a closet, 3 tight walls and a door. Lighting is "eco-friendly" but in this case? Please use bright lights to off-set the drabness. Friendly staff, gorgeous old house, very fair price, nice , quaint room, rolling with the waves-type mattress kept me from giving perfect score.

Clean basic room. For the price its hard to find fault. While it is close to downtown it still requires a car if you are elderly. We would certainly return.

Very nice, reasonably priced hotel. Very attentive staff. We stayed in the old inn, which is like a bed and breakfast. Most rooms are newer and larger. Easy walk to the Marginal Way, the town and the beach.

Everything was perfect. A car is possibly necessary for its location (on Main St.), but a quick hop, skip, and a jump and you are on the main strip in Oqunquit. Our suite was perfect (we requested an upgrade, and were accommodated quite well). Very professional and friendly staff and a very nice room.

pleasant , clean, very friendly and close to shopping
